How can an Inspector General of Police date a Corporal(The lowest rank). It is morally, ethically wrong and offends all military /paramilitary codes. How do they enforce discipline? He should have asked her to resign and set up a business for her. That is more honourable. |
Politics › Re: Ibe Kachikwu Exposes Maikanti Baru Through His Letter To Buhari (Pictured) by Dantedasz(m): 9:27am On Oct 04, 2017 |
Ibe Kachikwu is trapped. He should have seen the hand writing on the wall when General Buhari relegated him to Minister of State in the petroleum ministry. Baru now goes over his head and reports directly to Buhari, probably with Buhari's approval. Kachikwu can not gain access to his principal Buhari, hence this letter which was subsequently released to the press by the moles in the presidency to further humiliate Kachikwu. It is too late to resign now except Kachikwu is squeaky clean or else the EFCC will hang a corruption charge(s) around his neck. |

We are watching because we have seen this type of hype before. |

Mystic1: Whatever you guys are talking about our midfield. I'm very satisfied with the all round performance today. We can dominate every minute and secs of a 90mins game. I watched palace against city, and palace had their chance. We played well and we won today. Good performance from everyone except Mkhi who needs to be benched. I don't think we needed to get out of gear One today. We were always comfortable and in full control. Like I said different team, different tactics. Now to watch Chelsea and City beat themselves up. |

hoopLA: I understand you perfectly.
It's quite easy to lose what the real essence of the team is especially now that things are going very well. The true test comes when we face the top sides, and though I may be quietly confident, there is a little anxiety because of a few noticeable lapses in the side thus far.
I didn't say you were a deluded fan, I was only referring to the possibility that fans could tend to be deceived when the team is going on a winning run. Apparently United fans are the complex type, and I mean that respectfully, in all honesty.
Please I am not attacking you in any way. I only want to plead with you to be more understanding with fellow fans who tend to criticize the club because I believe they do it out of genuine love for the team.
Your points are well appreciated, sir. I understand you perfectly well. I understand criticism of the for constructive reasons and I understand criticism for criticisms sake just to form internet football analysts. There are a lot of the second group here. Supporters who are angry because Jose Mourinho their arch enemy is the coach of the team. Mourinhos teams from Porto to Chelsea 1 and 2, to Real Madrid to Inter Milan to now at United have been strong sides that played in a practical way of treating each game as different and as such approaching each opponent in a different way. I tell you the teams we are going to face after the international break are not approaching the game thinkingthey will run over United because they won't and any team that will beat this United team will know they have been in a battle. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Dantedasz(m): 4:22am On Sep 28, 2017 |
hoopLA: I was referring to the fixtures after the international break. Whether we like it or not those ties will not be easy. It's just stating the obvious. No need to get carried away. So far we haven't really been tested by a top quality side. That is the obvious truth. The consolation is that we are scoring more against sides we would have been scraping victories or getting draws this time last season.
Again I stress that there should be tolerance for divergent views. Everybody cannot agree with you all the time. Nobody who supports the club wants to see it fail hence the criticism. It is a sign that we don't have deluded fans though some of the criticism is a little far fetched. The matches will not be easy for United and they will not be easy for the opposition too. I am not a deluded fan. I am just confident from what I have seen of this team and the manager. Different opposition, different tactics. |

Caveatemptor: Stop wasting your time talking to those fair weather supporters, they are already here masturbating all over the boards because we won today. Most of them are Johnny come lately's who started supporting the club during the glory days of Sir Alex. They never witnessed The days when the club was relegated to the old second division. The never witnessed the time we were always in Liverpool's shadow. They never witnessed The era of Dave Sexton, they never witnessed the era of Ron Atkinson and they never witnessed The era of Tommy Docherty when all we could win were FA cups. They have been spoilt by Sir Alex Ferguson's era of success but I have news for them that era is gone for ever. Jose is/has building/built a new team here and we all need/must support him to suceed. I don"t care how it is done as long as he takes this team back to the summit of football where this club belongs. If he wants to park the bus for 89 minutes and steals a goal in the 90th minute,I am all for it as long as we can collect the three points! I get your point and I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinion but it is the unnecessary criticism that drives me nuts. Trying to form fake football analysts by running the club down. We are second on the league tables goal difference. We are top of our group in the Champions League. We are in the next round of the league cup yet so called fans keep running the team down because they want to be internet analysts. Last season Jose being a cerebral coach realised our only way back into the Champions League was to win the Europa league and concentrated on it till we won it and got into the Champions League but did that satisfy the fickle fans? No!They kept on and on criticizing the poor man. Now this season with the form we are in they are never satisfied. Going on and on comparing the team to Man City and Spurs. It just annoys me the way some of them keep complaining and moaning instead of supporting the team and the manager. I am just waiting for the games with their beloved Liverpool,Spurs and Man City when Jose will shut their mouths. |

hoopLA: Pls no need to spite anyone. Every one is entitled to their honest opinion. I believe as fans we can air whatever aggrieves us.
To today's game, I'm not being carried away yet. Liverpool after the international break is a heavy acid test for us. Right now we are cruising and it is good to see performances of Martial Ukaku being consistently top notch. Matic still remains the key player for me. A lot of folks need to step up(Lingard still doesn't cut it for me, Rashford is believing his hype too early, Mkhi needs to be more consistent and add more guile to his play, Mata needs to stamp his presence a lot more on games)
Smooth sailing thus far. But turbulence ahead.
Great game I What turbulence? We are joint top of the premier league and only behind on freaking goal difference for chrissakes. You would think we are in the relegation zone the way some of you talk. |

Where are all the fake United fans running their mouths after our performance against Soton last Saturday? Different matches, different tactics. As I said,I don't care how we win as long as we win. Football is a tribal sport so I will support the colours as long as we get the job done, and we got the mutherfvvcking job done. Six points on the log. Seven goals scored and one conceded. This team will take an extra ordinary team to face a defeat,Spurs and Man city included. On to the next one. |

If you want us to play like that against Tottenham, good for you. I most certainly don't want us to play that poorly against top oppositions.
Seems you've forgotten the Arsenal game- when we needlessly defended and got beat. What matters to me is the three points. If we have to play ugly football to get the three points,I am okay with it. I prefer to play ugly football and get there points at an away ground than to play sexy, beautiful football and lose. The priority is the points on the log. You would think we lost the game the way some of us are carrying on and grumbling. |

What if twas Tottenham? I wonder what guys will be saying because if we play this poorly against them we sure won't get any points because we'll surely concede goals.
The only decent side we've faced this season was Madrid, and look at how that game went.
Cc: Dantedasz When we meet Tottenham you will see and understand that no two football games are the same. And as they say in local parlance "football no be mathematics" I have absolute trust in this team and Jose. |

The point is we got the required three points on an away game. At a place that has never been an easy ground to go to even under Fergie. We scored a goal. We did not conceed any. Three points on the log. We are behind City on goal difference not points. We have five more away matches in various competitions. I would gladly take 1-0 victories in all five. |

The fact he has never been considered good enough for the job riles him as such when his teams face United they come extra motivated to throw a spanner in United's works. Against Chelsea Hughes does not feel he has to justify himself. |

My sincere advise to any Christian on this forum is to ignore such blasphemous threads that insult our religion so that they die a natural death and slip off the front page. Commenting on such threads by Christians will only keep the sacrilegious thread on the front page. Years ago the Religion section was one until the Islamists threatened the administrator and he gave in to their threats and granted them their restricted fiefdom ruled by an ayatolah. Ignore them. |
