Like all religions, there must be some insignia that speaks the name of a religion once sighted. The star of David might have no root in the biblical history but it is a symbol that has existed for a long time in Jewish history.

The conjecture goes that it must have been adopted to represent Judaism because of some semblance to the Christian cross.
