Zionmdde: If he doesn't announce this one, how will he get pupils/students People like that can't see any good in what others are doing can never do any good yourselves
Kudos to the man, it will be a very good relief to parents whose children are autistic and have no money for special centers
God keep blessing and expanding his coast From what i read he has only one school in Port Harcourt, definitely not enough for the whole country so is there any need of announcing it to whole world? He could easily promote it locally in Port Harcourt. |

Very twisted pastor this OPM is. |
Health › Re: Abandoned At 2 Months, They Called Me A Burden. by danvon(m): 12:10pm On Sep 10, 2025 |
DrAda: Sad story but there are holes in it. I find it hard to believe that she was born with HIV, only to be discovered at 8 years of age. That is practically impossible as the disease would have advanced so much so that i don't expect her to be alive without anti-retroviral drugs. They may have found out when the sickness began to properly manifest perhaps they thought it was malaria only to get to do a blood test and discover HIV. DrAda: The story about the grandmother just handing her drugs is also unbelievable. Where was she getting the drugs from? I know for certain that she didn't buy it because they are expensive so she must have gotten them for free from a hospital.
Which begs the next question, who on earth in an hospital environment will give HIV drugs to a healthy person for a sick person? When you were sick as a child was it you the doctors gave the drugs and prescription or to your parents? Obviously the drugs would go to the adults who are responsible for the child DrAda: And then finally, when she went to the hospital to collect her drugs as a teenager (several years later), she learnt the truth about her status. That makes no sense. What about her latest CD4 count, periodic checks on other investigations to ascertain if there are side effects to the drugs etc. How did she manage to remain stable up until this point without ever been in a clinic and being monitored by a doctor? Most hospitals usually recommend that they don't tell children with HIV below 13 sometimes 14 their HIV status, most patients believe they fall sick easily or something else, when they reach a certain age they can be told, at that age it is expected that they won't fall into depression or overreact (which many of them do) The story is practical |

nairalanda1: Nope.
There are students and there are the serious students
During my secondary school days, the set above us, the guy that got best marks in WAEC, really STUDIED for that exam. In the few weeks leading up to the exam his eyes were red, and he looked tired . Yet he passed because he did ten times what others did. His family was not loaded, and no family member worked for the school.
Also, several sets above mine was a guy who was known as 'the cool guy, the popular guy'. People thought he was not serious, but when he went home, na to open his books and study like there was no tomorrow. Needless to say, waec and jamb were a walk in the park for him.
There are students and there are the serious students. The most serious students are those who their parents are really loaded (you must get first place or you won't get my inheritance) or those with staff parents (i am a teacher in that school you will not embarass me by getting last). At the end of the day it is a question of pressure. Extra lesson no dey show for face. |

Chekwume16: Yeye man. Doing everything just for politics. We have never denied being igbos. What we are saying is that we don't have the same behaviour with people from the south east. We are very happy people. We don't harbour hatred towards others like they do. We are not oppressive and above all we don't support terrorism like they are doing towards esn. We will never allow anioma to be part of south east. Simple Even an Nnewi man will also say he doesnt have the same behaviour as those from Mbaise. But at the end of the day Igbos are all the same, its just a matter of geography. Anioma, Ikwerre are at the fore front of any conflict hence their peaceful (not so peaceful) stance. |

CoronaVirusPro: Getting a phone is same as a computer.
They still will have access to the internet.
Parents of now a days are not conversant with tech and why they are breeding children with the fear that the internet will expose them.
I like the point you raised. Jeff Bezos had a picture with his old computer back at that time. How many families could afford that carton then? I doubt if we had up to 10 in Nigeria then.
If any child must compete in the future. His access to the internet will determine a lot. I agree, computers back then were not just for the wealthy but for the educated wealthy, people educated enough to understand its value but personally i differentiate between phones and laptops. Laptops are very boring for anything fun aside from watching movies or reading (which i see as fun). Phones have easy keypad structure that makes it easy for games, chatting etc. I had to spend 4 months to learn how to type really fast and accurately on my laptop, you don't need that level of commitment to type on phones. A laptop can also seriously aid you in work related activities (programming, designing, animation, ms office) a phone has limited potential. |

How many times will they teach you that a country's currency value being high is not always a good thing and it being low is not always a bad thing.
High currency value usually means money is concentrated in the hands of the few, the currency goes down because more and more people are having easy access to it.
Hence, Nigeria in the 1980s was far more corrupt than Nigeria today definitely more corrupt than China in the 1980s. |

Topbrass: Abeg which one be good river and bad river. Expecting a response please. 40 characters Bad rivers are rivers that cannot carry large cargo, they can carry boats but not large ships transporting heavy goods. This is either because the waters are too shallow (in this case it is shallow during dry seasons), or the water has unpredictable currents which could easily crash a ship. China, USA and Britain have good rivers, historically the only African country that had a 'manageable' river before the discovery of Lagos was Egypt with its River Nile, and you'll see that Egypt was very advanced compared to most African nations historically. |

They will never stop repeating how Awolowo supported starvation during the civil war, but yet they are very jubilant when Israel does the same thing.
Every single argument made by Awolowo and Adekunle has also been made by Israel, yet they curse Awolowo in his grave while they glorify Netanyahu to heaven.
The difference is, Nigeria did not chase Igbos away from their homeland after the war, many Igbos still have their own soil where they can proudly display their clannish intolerant attitude to this day.
It is genocide ONLY when it happens to them.
