Even in their terrorism they can't even work together, same way they couldn't even work together in their Labour Party.

These are the people that want to run a country.

CareerRe: Why The Smartest Employee Often Never Becomes The Boss by danvon(m): 8:55pm On Jun 16
Who you know is better than what you know

The guy who becomes CEO is the guy who is friends with lots of CEOs and simply learns through osmosis how they talk and behave.

What we call good communication and office politics are things people can only learn through experience the earlier the better.
Foreign AffairsRe: South African Xenophobia Actually Makes Sense by danvon(op): 3:31am On Jun 14
brain54:
What about the white minority that controls 80% of those benefits? They don't have a problem with that?

What about white foreigners living in that country. Many of them illegal immigrants. Sure no problem about that.
We all saw South African President having to answer to Trump about that, there are many laws in the country that force whites to employ blacks and have majority black representation in any organization or project they create (the ones who don't comply are quietly dealt with), the whites found a work around to these laws by simply employing Africans from other countries who tend to be much more loyal to them. The anti immigration sentiments would affect the white elites much harder than you think.

brain54:
Jungle justice occurs in isolated cases in parts of the country. Nobody institutionilises it campaigns with it and comes out openly to justify it. Awareness are created daily about the dangers of jungle justice. And jungle justice has reduced over the years due to awareness about the subject.
Isolated like how, reduced like how? wasnt the Uromi burning of 16 people last year?

brain54:
Maybe we should wait until it gets to the scale of the Jos crises before we condemn what is happening in South Africa!
I meant for an angry mob with no individual accountability they seem to just harass people, no case of major violence outbreak, this wouldnt be the case in most African countries.
Foreign AffairsRe: South African Xenophobia Actually Makes Sense by danvon(op): 8:49pm On Jun 13
brain54:
Firstly, majority of the people being threatened, harassed and asked to leave...those directly affected are not illegal immigrants. South Africans are just hiding behind the phrase illegal immigrants to carry out their motives.
Illegal immigration is obviously not the problem, the problem is other Africans taking advantage of benefits they and their ancestors fought for

brain54:
Secondly, even if south African was right... is this the best way to go about it harassing and mobbing people on their streets when they have laws and law enforcement agencies that can carry out the legal repartration of those staying there illegally?
The same reason why Nigerians do jungle justice, people don't trust the authorities, corruption exists some authority figures could simply take bribes and do nothing.

brain54:
Lastly, south Africans themselves don't know what they should hide their real motives of perpetrating their evils...
Nothing so far so good has been on the scale of the jos crisis

We should use this opportunity to evacuate, i think the xenophobia would have economic consequence but i think we can understand.

That is exactly what Zimbabwe did and now Zimbabweans are illegal immigrants in South Africa

Foreign AffairsSouth African Xenophobia Actually Makes Sense by danvon(op): 7:38pm On Jun 13
Imagine struggling for decades, enduring humiliation and death, fighting for freedom only to finally get the freedom and some foreigners start trooping in, they start taking advantage of the opportunities you suffered for, idolizing your ex oppressors and what's worse they even begin to look down on you and call you lazy.

I'm very convinced some of the African nations condemning South Africa wouldn't take half of that nonsense.

Its true Nigeria supported South Africa but the truth is that the vast majority of illegal immigrants in South Africa are not Nigerians, and even most of the Nigerians are not exactly 'patriotic' Nigerians in the first place, so the damage to Nigeria is highly overrated, countries like Zimbabwe are far more affected.

The South African Situation and the Black American Situation are the same. People who fought hard and struggled for rights only for African foreigners to troop in, start peddling racist talking points and looking down on them.

PoliticsWhy Nigeria Won't Defeat Islamic Terrorists Anytime Soon by danvon(op): 7:28pm On Jun 06
Unlike I P O B and NIger Delta Militants - Islamic terrorists are actually serious minded people. Many of them are willing to blow themselves up into pieces for their barbaric beliefs, they don't travel to a foreign country at the first sign of trouble; you can call them demonic but you can never call them hypocrites or cowards.

Nigeria at its core doctrine underestimates the importance of faith and dedication and places more faith in money. The recent defection of politicians prove that even the elites of Nigeria are not willing to fight and die on principles, even the military era wasn't better with its epidemic of embezzlement, coups, countercoups and betrayals.

USA spent 20 years fighting Talibans in Afghanistan before giving up, USA had more sophisticated weapons and better trained troops and still didn't win. Israel has been fighting radical Islamists for all its existence and still hasn't won them. Its funny how some Nigerians think these countries can help us defeat Islamic terrorists when they haven't won theirs.

We have to become serious minded in this country which will force our leaders to become serious minded and a great place to start is to stop taking advantage of every tragedy to condemn Nigeria, we should learn to fully condemn the perpetrators as demonic and barbaric, condemning Nigeria decreases faith in the country which actually helps the terrorists.

We must fight seriousness with more seriousness and we need to become more religious.

PoliticsRe: Political Parties Are The Biggest Reason Nigeria Cannot Get Better by danvon(m): 9:45am On May 10
It is not in the best interest of any group to spend money, time and effort to purchase something and then equally share it with people who didnt contribute anything.

Most of what we call 'corruption' here is simply called 'lobbying' in civilized climates.

To fight corruption more Nigerians must participate in political process.

Anyone who studies violence will understand that an organized disciplined hateful group is a thousand times more deadly than a spontaneous disorganized mob, that is precisely what made the Nzis so deadly.

Talking about how organized and disciplined they are is not reassuring.

If they don't like blacks in their country let them organize a peaceful deportation.

Its strange how posts of Nigerian crimes in South Africa always get frontpage on Nairaland but a full xenophobic protest has been taking place there for weeks now and not a single peep.

Any frequent user of nairaland wouldnt even be aware of the protest. Its strange how they refuse to give updates even as foreign news and traditional media were giving updates.

Deep down your feeble mind, you are crying because Obi refused to stay in ADC so that what tinibu planned against the party will get to him.

This is exactly the kind of cries and lamentations, we witnessed from you lots when Kanu left his house during the military attack that was ordered by Buhari. You lots were crying because Kanu refused to allow the military to kpai him.
But Kanu eventually landed in prison for life.
