Hmm, i think i know one who would have been lucky, he interviewed on the 11th, wore an old worn out chinos and green striped shirt, he was tall and the clothes where rumpled and too small, i looked at him and felt bad because i knew that for him to have worn such a cloth, he truly didn't have any other, money to buy or who to borrow from, when he stood up ppl looked shocked i am sure some laughed but i guess his clowning has become his glory... Kudos to whoever had the choice to push him through, i pray for unmerited favor also.

Yes, they pay accommodation and travel allowances. The further you stay from Abuja, the more the pay. They paid towards the end of the orientation program.

yes majority of you guys don't know jacksh1t... I served in the north...I was a subject teacher...in a class of 72 students, barely 10% understand English. Yes there are exceptional students in the north but compare to us in the south that's no match, stop hallucinating ... You studied in ogun state, (OSU,funaab,mapoly,gateway poly, or private uni)..name your school and course of study lemme access you. I was born and raised in Ogun state, though I went to uni in Osun state (Greatest citadel of learning, OAU)... Let me advise us guyz. Taking these evil-minded descriminations to nnpc wont take the country anywhere. Rather, it will become more polarized. Southerners always undermine northerners, northerners always feel insulted.

Lol, I witnessed Something similar during my NYSC, the school authority locked thier gates to prevent inspectors from d ministry from figuring out their game plan. But they where still caught, over 10 teachers where suspended, the exams that day was cancelled.

what sweet me the most was that the principal was demoted & transferred to another school deep inside bush . Us corper just dey enjoy show as a senior corper don warn us before not to take part in any malpractice, no matter how much the school go pay us

I don't know about other parts of the world but I am sure it must exist as long as tribal sentiments continue to exist in such geographical location. Your point on some regions being lazy is true because it has been happening.


Take WAEC for instance, while candidates in the south were busy trying their best to prepare for the exam or at least look for money to sort invigilators; up north, where I did my NYSC a while back, the school authority literally held a meeting to mandate all teachers to write the WAEC answers legibly on the blackboard to ensure candidates write the correct thing. Some candidates even left in the middle of exam to go sell their yam as a customer came calling, he was to come back and finish it later. These are candidates who have government jobs waiting if they manage to get a pass. I just gave up on the lopsided country.

It is also imperative to state that there were some smart kids though.
