If you observe the highlighted part you will realise that Paul was talking to those who are now believers when he said "And such were some of you." So, it doesn't matter what our sins are, Jesus can wash us and make us clean and righteous in the sight of God. [b]So, the answer to your question is that I am now righteous by the grace of God who saved me from my sins. Will you come to Jesus for His cleansing power? There is power in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Good for you, Now that you are "righteous", you see it fit to condemn the "unrighteous", knowing fully well that you were once unrighteoues. Does that make sense??

So, should I conclude that you sin no more??

The Bible can be used either as a rescue rope or as a noose to commit suicide[b] depending on the user[/b]. If you want information about past, present and future events about this cosmos and the afterlife then the Bible is fresher than tomorrow's newspaper.

That is why i question your assertions,  you are giving people your own interpretations and you use it to support your arguments, which is understandable. But it does not equate to righteousness. Only God knows True righteousness.

I used to think you were different from the "religious folks" who resort to bigotry and the manipulation of the bible to support their argument. I am hugely disappointed.

You feel you can just quote the bible and feel impressed with yourself. Dude, its not a new thing. All you do is Cherry-pick verses and give it your own meaning and interpretations. I am not a muslim but I feel you are wrong to condemn someone you are debating with or someone who does not share your view to hell. It's myopic and shameful.

If Jesus told a Sinner to go and repent, who are you to condemn another human to hell??   Are you righteous?? Have you stopped sinning?? Do you follow all  the commandments in the bible?? If no, then you are an hypocrite to condemn another "sinner" [/b]to hell.

What did the same bible say about judging others?? But you wont quote that,instead you cherry-pick verses that suit your argument. Shame on your hypocrisy.

i actually saw the programme and to be honest it has not changed my belief in GOD or as a pentecostal christian.however one thing i realised that some of my christian brothers and sisters dont realise is that criticism of some pastors is not the same thing as criticising the religion and for non believers the fact that some preachers/pastors indulge in these sinful habits money making ventures does not mean christianity is a lie or that all men and women of GOD are charllatans.
this kind of programme will serve to keep us christians on our feet,and to be on the look out so if we notice any of the tell tale signs,
if the congregation of pastor odulele had been watchful,its possible that the incidents of abuse wouldnt have been swept under the carpet for that long before it came to light

The bolded is  what I find puzzling.  Liberate the world from oppresion? The last time I checked, Palestine is still oppresed, Somalia is stateless, poverty in kenya, Libya in turmoil, various forms of oppression still occuring around the world.

Who are undergraduates? Are they still NOT children? What have they become? They are still "kids".

Moral values my foot. I used to have a bowen friend who's lifestyle is worse than my other frineds from osu and lasu, she sneaks out of school, has many sugar daddies and the likes. Moral values are not gotten by telling adults to kneel down, what does that do to their self worth and self esteem, when their juniours see them kneeling down? What happened to punishment by telling them to do community service? what about the choice for others?

If you want to be treated as a child, fine, but they should not take advantage of the failed state schools and introduce draconian laws just to justify thier personal moral standings.

With all the "moral" obligations by the school, it is still not the best school and does not produce the best students, what then is the point??

The graduates either turn out as zombies or very resentful of the institution. You cannot force faith on people else they turn out as hypocrites. I understand they want to maintain  a high maral standard but limiting the students liberties only makes them hypocrites themselves. They need to have the freedom to evaluate and discipline themselves, this eill then lead to creativity.

Who monitors the activities of these schools?, I dont blame them, if the federal government cant control their own schools how will they monitor the private ones?
