In Celebration of Baba@85 and as part of the Youth Empowerment programme (anchored by the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Youth Centre), the Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo rode one of the "Keke Napeps" (a.k.a Maruwa/Tricycle) to Kuto Abeokuta with passengers on-board.

The journey started from his OOPL residence to Kuto underbridge while picking up random passengers ( who were beyond excited to be driven by the former president) along the way. It was such a beautiful moment to behold.

In all, 85 young people greatly benefited from the Baba@85 Free Keke Programme.

During my NYSC we stayed at home due to corona and endsars and all that so maybe that’s why I don’t see NYSC as something you can use to achieve something tangible.

But it’s different strokes for different folks I guess so good luck to you all

A Mob have set two men ablaze in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, for allegedly snatching a motorcycle, Reports.

Gathered That, The Incident occurred at 6:45 am, on Thursday, June 23, at Ijokodo, along the Sango-Eleyele expressway.

An eyewitness, who identified himself as Dada Baloga told Tribune Online that the suspects allegedly snatched a motorcycle at Ologuneru area of Ido Local Government in the early hours of Thursday.

"This morning we heard that two boys stole a motorcycle and snatched a bag containing an unspecified amount of money around Ologuneru. Some people attacked the boys at Ologuneru, but policemen rescued them," Baloga narrated.

“By the time some people following them on commercial motorcycles beat and stripped the duo naked around WAEC junction, the policemen that earlier rescued them at the spot of the crime in Ologuneru decided to vacate the scene, thus leaving them at the mercy of the mob.

"Part of the people following them from Ologuneru and some Okada riders overpowered them (suspects) here and were interrogated. They confessed that they came from Agodi Gate area, specialising in stealing motorcycles.

"After they became very weak following the severe beating, the Okada riders scooped petrol from their tanks and used it to burn them. We called the police immediately to save the situation, but there was no response."

Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Adewale Osifeso confirmed the incident, saying he would give details later.

my biological father is 64 and he got married at 22,

today I am 24 and I can't even imagine my self getting married in 5yrs time becoz things have change (asin the economy).
it takes longer time for a man to be established in this generation that the previous ones..

now assuming sex is food, Ur father says everyone should fast from 6a.m to 6pm knowing that Ur body will later need to eat naturally, but in this generation, we are fasting too long and can't hold anymore becoz the resources to get married isn't available..
what we need to pray for is mercies and Grace to be established and marry the right person early..

Whenever you want to embark on a long journey, take avomine tablets. Get it from a pharmacy as well as the dosage. The first time my kids and I travelled long distance, my first daughter wasn't comfortable throughout the trip, she vomited inside the bus. My Mum now told me about avomine and ever since then, no issues. It is an anti neausea drug.

Don't worry much, with time it will stop. Eat heavy food like fufu and Take malt drink before you start the journey.l experienced it before, but now l can sit inside a car like two days without facing the journey's sickness.

Na road sickness...we are together.... its only sleep that helps me....any journey more than 20 minites i get nauseous....i dont know if its the dust, heat, or the speed of the vehicle turning my eyes...i no just just dey gbadun myself in side moto..

Hello guys this is the first time i will posting here so please pardon me if there's anything weird about my post..... i just noticed that anytime i'm in the bus or even car sometimes most especially if it's commercial, i always feel very dizzy and sometimes i will feel like vomiting though i have never vomited. It gets worse when i'm traveling a long distance and i cant even press my phone in the bus it gets very worse too most times i envy people that are using their phone beside me inside the bus and if i even try to check what the person is doing for a while the feeling start again i don't even know if i should call it dizziness or slight headache what i know is that i'm always very uncomfortable during that period.
I just wanna know if anyone is having a symptom that's similar to mine, though mine is somehow hereditary but i believe there should be other people like that too. The smell of petrol in the bus ignites that symptom most times too. Though after alighting from the bus i would be fine again but if it's a long journey i will have to rest for some minutes when i get to my destination. doctors in the house your sincere contribution to this will be duly appreciated!

I have been working for this company for two years. In December 2021, there was a change in management, a new manager was assigned to my Department. Before the change in management, I applied for some jobs in November 2021 but I didn't get any response.

Things between my new manager and I developed really quickly (he is not married and he is 10 years older than me). Although we have been working together, when he became the new manager we started dating. it was mutual, it wasn't like he forced me. We liked each other and we started dating in March 2022. We kept things professional in the office. Nobody in the office knows about this even till now.

Those companies I applied to in November 2021 reached out to me for an interview. I got two offers at the same time. Both offers come with great pay (similar to what my boyfriend currently earns) and a significant boost to my career. I spoke to my boyfriend about it and being my boss he told me to reject both offers, he told me he would be able to cater for my needs that the only commitment he has now is paying for his house and once he is done paying for it, he would have more money to take care of me and I didn't need a job where they would pay me what he's currently earning and be in a role similar to his.

I told him it's not the money but it would be about moving up the ladder in my career. These are offers people do not have, now I have two, he is asking me to reject them. He told me even if I have to move the only offer I should take is the one close to the company where we work which has a lower pay compared to the second offer. I told him I would go with the second offer which has more opportunities for me. Both offers are in the same state although my preferred offer is a bit far from where I live but it is still a reasonable location to commute everyday. At one point he told me, I was too ambitious and I took it as a compliment.

I noticed he changed since then, he informed the company management that I was leaving and we began the handover process, I noticed he changed after we had the discussion about me accepting the second offer but I thought it was about him missing me. May 31 was my last day and I noticed few days to my last day he was acting strange so I asked him what the matter was. He said he doesn't feel anything for me and we should stop seeing each other.

This is a man that was really excited when we were dating, all of a sudden doesn't feel anything for me because I got a high paying job? Is it wrong for a woman to be ambitious? When has it become a crime for a woman to aim high in her career? My role will still be to support him. I have never been rude to him and I am not going to be rude to him because we now earn the same salary. I really like him and I feel disappointed that he could act this way.

Is it now a crime for a woman to be ambitious?
