Pls, who can help with the best and affordable airline to book to Toronto ?

It is not as it is , when you try to book then you will see some other fees that will dramatically skyrocket the price

I once messaged ircc on Twitter abt this issue and they replied it’s no problem
I also follow some tweet trend about this same issue. Response from ircc were there is no problem with change of programs in same DLI

It is PPR ALERT GUYS ( my love letter finally came yesterday 28 September 2021 ( around 11:58) when I was getting tired of the whole wait and I was thinking my application was being abandoned


This journey started in 2019 when I got my admission to Fanshawe college, I have always been someone that procrastinate so I always didn’t apply on time, I also felt my application wasn’t strong enough, and whenever I discovered time was no more on my side …gbam!! I defer my admission again. I did that twice.

The last one I did was to September 2021, and again I started sleeping on it, but my trigger was when I came on nairaland and I saw a screenshot that said if you want to get a reply on August 9th you need to apply on or before May 15th, that was my trigger. I gave myself a 10 days ultimatum , na so I run go dust my sop which I have been writing for two years and all other documents ( I did my police report twice , the first one I did expired , did not even applied with it ) put them together, I started disturbing my best friend which is very good in writing , gathered all my siblings that wey sabi write , put heads together to finetune my sop and other documents .
When everything was ready , whenever I went through my sop , me self know say we try.

I had like two table of contents ( one for the personal info section and the other for the financial section) also when I talked about any point in my Sop I reference it to the page number in the whole merged document , it might seems to be a lot of work but I was ready to put in a strong application this one time and it’s worth it.

Already deferred to my admission but a new LOA wasn’t given , I updated my agent yesterday ( to apply to Fanshawe you have to use an agent) and I was told my course may not be available for January, but till next September.
He suggested he will update the school if I can still enroll for this section and I start online .
Hopping to get a positive reply from them soon

I got all my information from nairaland , if I can do it you can and we all can

Yes it has to be in either Lagos or Abuja , when I did mine , I did in Lagos had to book for around 11:30 so I left Ibadan early got to hospital around 11:05 finished around 1:30 and landed back In Ibadan around 5PM

Even if you go for a year program , you can still go for another one immediately after the first year and then get your 3 years Pgwp after the second year

Plss your quoting me wrong, I never said 1yr program can not get one's visa approved but rather it's usually difficult to obtain visa using it, that's why I don't advice ppl to go through it

I haven't updated Ircc yet in fact school hasn't given me a new LOA yet , I was told they can only give me a new one when I get a response from IRCC , which I am sure my love letter will be dropping soon

Please I have a question for Fanshawe student's because I dont trust my agent. I asked her to defer my admission and they said it was done but the school said I won't get the new LOA until they see my denial letter or approval letter.

Is this how Fanshawe operates?

Timeframe for FORM A is within 3 days to a month. It's just not reliable method when one is trying to meet a short deadline. Reach out to your sister. She should even be able to use her card.

If you can register for a dormicilary account then go ahead and fund it then pay with your card note that you won't be able to meet the deadline through this route...

Yes your sister can help you make the payment and about the exchange rate no one can really tell you that because it would be converted from pounds to cad and if she is using flywire (cause that's what most colleges in canada uses in receiving school fees payment) she would be charged in pounds and payment received in cad.

also what if my sister in Uk help with the payment ? would the exchange rate be much considering the conversion of naira to pounds

It's hard to meetup with the deadline using FORM A. This information should have been included in the offer letter. Except you have a well funded domiciliary account with card, your only choice might be the virtual card of the barter app. The exchange rate is on the high side.

You need to open a domiciliary account and use the card. Or if your parents or elderly people you trust have domiciliary accounts, you can use their card and pay them in Naira. (P.S. I don't trust people my age on matters like this)

Don't use that of strangers or 'friends' you don't trust as they can do a charge back which could lead to a ban for you.

Guess you can use another identity card like drivers license, national identity card. Add birth certificate to it again.
