You idiot @Dafur, i think u re insane for all the rubbish u re saying about liverpool fc,if we have a problem,it's none of your business,if u want to say that,go to Anfield and say it right there, then,u'll know what's up.Honestly,u re making me angry u stupid fool.
i love it when they loose. . . . i love it when their fans are annoyed ![]() i'm loving it, i'm loving it, i'm having a good time . . ![]() next defeat . . . sunderland ok it will be a draw ![]() |
at last a liverpool fan has seen rafa as the problem. and good to hear you talk of new people at anfield. try getting some african players too. see, football is also physical. as much as you need skillful players you also need strong players. torres is good. but can he survive a very rugged defence? like drogba would?or anelka? no he wont. football needs ruggedity. especially the premiership. get some rugged africans like essien, drogba, anelka or non africans like gallas etc. all this white white ajebotas will do you guys no good. when rafa plays kewell instead of babel you guys hail him. rafa is playing to the gallery. he fields players that poeple love to see(and scousers are very racist) but lets see, liverpool will finish behing everton this year and behing aston villa too. let's bet ![]() |
nigerian football is like every other thing nigerian . . . . nigerian health service, nigerian education, nigerian police( ), etcthe football side was already dead b4 berti vogts came so no blame the man for everything abeg.after all, na una go hire am. abi. i'm all for home caoches. if we keep going for foreign coaches, then we should also go for foreign president, foreign senators, foreign governors, foreign voters and riggers etc. if a local coach led the team into 2002 world cup,i.e we are one of the best 32 football teams in the world.then local coaches should be encouraged. after all with our local presidents and govs we have never been among the best I00 govts in the world. then we should hire blair or obama to lead our govt. after all, must we win the African Cup? |
folahann:simple . . . .racism ![]() they say they dont want african players who will go for the nations cup and they team will suffer. fact: chelsea and arsenal with losses due to african cup are still winning matches while liverpool with no loss in african players are loosing woefully match after match after match (i'm loving it)ok let's be serious, liverpool is Poo, all the players are either average or below average except gerrard and torres. crouch is good but rafa gives him the bench. rafa is their number one problem. but the fans are too loyal to acknowledge this. b/c he won the UCL, they have so much love/respect for him that they failto realise that he is messing up now. have u seen livepool loosing a game away? they play like they dont mind.(just like our eagles were playing in the ANC). But see when chelsea or arsenal are loosing. you see that . . . . ."fierce urgency of now" in them to level up. (just like cameroon did when they were loosing to egypt) but the reds, they play like they aint interested. liverpool decieves themselves when they say . . . ahaa, we have a game at hand. but i know that even that game at hand will only be a draw, at best . they also believe they have the UCL to play for. and the FA cup too. these things make them believe they aint doing badly after all. reducing the urgency for change. but hopefully Inter will see them off UCL, then perhaps if they survive those long name clubs in FA cup, the first premiership opposition they meet will see them off the FA cup, then they play the "game at hand" they have in the premiership, and loose , or draw, then their eyes will open that they are Poo they keep buying nonsense players to keep the team white. look at the guy they got for £6m. his first match he scored an own goal ![]() i love it when liverpool looses. i'm not a fan of any club, but i dislike some clubs soo much that my best moment is when they loose . liverpool is one of such i'm having a good time ![]() |
faketan:tell them say i go timbuktu ![]() |
landre:i dont know if you reside in nigeria. but i believe nigerians will be ready to ask questions when they see credible evidence of such a plan into action. remember the 3rd term agenda? it was a rumour, people waited, watching. then when it turned to action, nigerians reacted. Africa is changing. look at kenya, see the niger-delta etc. our leaders know this. people are begining to ask questions and so let's watch and see b4 we shout and then act |
obama will not win. because he is black. whites were ready to vote for him. but bill clinton has made it a racial affair. he blasted obama in south carolina and made blacks to "completely" vote obama and that plays into bill clinton's game plan. he can now let the whites see that obama is actually a black candidate. and the latinos will also line up behind hilary. the result . . . .republican white house in november. but obama has done one thing. . . he has showed the black race and indeed the underprivileged category of humanity, that no matter what they say, one thing is clear . . . even if we dont . . . . . . . yes we can ![]() |
@topic what of fire dept? abeg wetin be latsma? |

femwich:marijuana destroys the body. it's injurious to your health and since your body is the temple of God, and it destroys your body, then it is a sin b/c you are destroying God's temple. alcohol on the other hand can be useful for health. it has been proven medically that moderate alcohol is cardioprotective. this means that if you take moderate alcohol regularly or occasionally, you are less liekly to have heart problems in life than those who dont take alcohol at all. and the bible never said thou shall not drink, but thou shall not get drunk. marijuana has no advantage, alcohol has an advantage if used moderately that is the difference. ![]() sign . . . . @planner, the elders probably fell for his rhetorics thinking they have what it takes to win the war.if the elders knew what he knew they woulda prolly adviced against it. otherwise, the elders are also guilty as charged. @lafile, I’ll like to address him as General Ojukwu too. But this is the Nigerian Army here Addresing him and they see him as a lt col. He was not recognised by the Nigerian army as a general and that’s it. Period. If I go to Europe and they don’t recognise my degree, I’ll simply write their own exam. Na quarrel? @planner, if it pains me that 2.5 million igbos died including women and children and you are more concerned about your hero then I am more igbo than you. youngies:@youngies thanks for being polite in your disagreement. This way we can debate issues. Ist of all, armies look at themselves and imagine if they have what it takes. Hitler had used about 6yrs for re-armament b4 he declared war in Europe and he actually did conguer Europe b4 the US came. He never wanted to fight the US at the time. May be later. But not at that time. Bush actually destroyed saddam and Afghanistan. But the issue is that he won the war but did not win the peace. So he was deemed a failure. But militarily he won. Infact, the Iraqis were wiser than Ojukwu at some point. When the war came to Baghdad, the defence disappeared and the marines virtually walked in. they changed tactics. Americans controlled the city while they used guerrilla warfare. They knew they were no match for the Americans face-to-face. Soviet union and even the US knew that each had nuclear capability. Watch the movie I3 days. It’s about the Cuban missile crisis. There you’ll see how much both sides did not want to go to war . . BECAUSE THEY KNEW THE RESULT OF DOING SO. Yeah, the igbos say that “ejighi ekwo maka mgbagbu ghara i ga agha” (you cant avoid war b/c of the possibility of death) but why, why, why, why in God’s earth, why is it that when the war enters the door steps of the leaders, they surrender or vamoose.why?whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? MLK led the demonstration for the civil rights movts. He had fears of death. Yet he led the demonstrations and eventually got killed.sadly. why do war leaders hide. Hitler was even better, after the war, he did not beg to live. The coward shot himself. Ojukwu did not even shoot himself. He so loved life that he ran away, came back, joined politics, went for a beauty gueen,( young enough to be his daughter even against the advice of her dad, which is very very very un-igbo take note) And while the innocent igbos were fighting to protect themselves Ojukwu, the hero, ordered the invasion of western Nigeria. The mid-west was overrun by biafran soldiers and they went as far as Ore. Closing in on lagos. Hmmmn open your nose and smell some imperialistic appetite bro got a lecture to attend.catch ya later. keep the debate free of abuses. |
if my wife cheat on me, i go revenge. i'll go and hire an ashawo or two ashawos ![]() and sleep with them in our room. after that we re-new our marital vows. decide if we still want to be together. sometimes revenge is not an act of wickedness but an idea to show the other person the intensity of the pain he/she caused. ![]() we can then decide to divorce amicably. as for forgiveness, the easiest way to do that is to know that i'm also guilty of the same offence ![]() we'll forgive ourselves |
I understand you sha |
OgidiBoy:yeah right bro you got the spelling correctly huh? ![]() have you ever heard of the word "typo"? it's just an error. ok, the spelling is Nnamdi Azikiwe .igbo, ibo all na the same thing. we igbos use igbo more often than not. but sometimes ibo is used too and most non igbos find it easier to use ibo and there are many non igbos in nairaland. but anyway, igbo is the right one so thanx for the correction. but this issue is not about wether i'm igbo or not@youngies, i'm not trying to twart history. i know of all that happened in the 60s and i can summarise it this way. 30,000 igbos were killed in the north. that was horrible. but i find it hard to understand why people cry about 30,000 igbos killed in the north but seem comfortable with 2.5 million people killed in an avoidable war. or is it because I just say 2.5 million. ok, let me spell it out I966/67 . . . . .30,000 igbos killed in the north I967-70. . . 2,500,000 igbos killed in their own backyard . . i.e 80 x more than the people killed in the pre-war pogrom. jesus we could do nothing about the 30,000 killed in the north. they attacked us suddenly and killed. but the war, we could have stayed home and refused to fight. they wont come to complete the "interrupted march to the sea". ishmael:we expected our leader to tell us the truth at least. he said we shall win the war when he knew fully well that it was impossible. this guy was trained in the best military school at the time(sandhurst). he went to oxford (arguably the best at the time), he was in the nigerian army(so he knew their strenght) he was intelligent(very very intelligent) so there is no way he wont know that Biafra was no match for nigeria, how much more a nigeria that was backed by all the super powers. yet he sent gullible people to go and fight the nigerians. mba ooooo he's no hero at all. he cannot be exonerated from those deaths. |
I agree. but i'm very concerned that the violence continues. there comes a time when you may need to restore some sanity first. b4 going for the law. the US had to do some negotiations in irag for peace to be restored in those very violent triangle. at least violence reduced. i'll be glad to have violence end in the niger-delta, after that we restore order, then when everything is under control we come for the law.unless we have the wherewithal to end the violence militarily and if so i wonder what the govt is waiting for. |
emem did you have a friend called amaka? |

bgees:and i'll still be here expressing my opinion ![]() who wants to go to liverpool? that hopeless place with bloody scousers the most ill mannered people in the british isles ![]() nooo abeg, i no de go there ![]() |
if only we can surround the leaders who loot our money and disgrace them like this too. |
this is anfield where anybody can come and pick up points ![]() |
there is no justice on this earth. that move will help to end violence. not to bring justice. but again you may ask for the price of justice. if you want to prosecute him, hemay pick up his arms once more and kill more people. it's difficult, but i believe peace can never be too expensive. my opinion though. you may disagree though. |
guy, winning all the votes in lagos can give you numerical advantage over the other candidates especially if there are 3 or more candidates sharing the votes of the other states. lagos has up to I5-20 million people and still counting. forget that una census. how many people are in ondo state? ok, let us assume that ondo and ogun state have 4 million each. and there are 5 candidates. I takes all the lagos votes. cool 20 milla votes, leaving the others to share the remaining votes. he wins the elections with only lagos votes. next time, he wont care about ondo people since he needs only lagos votes for re-election. he will develop only lagos and damn the rest. e good? ![]() but with the nigerian electoral law, if he doesnt win at least 33% of the votes in ondo and ogun, he wont be declared winner. so he has to hussle ondo people too. and he wont take them as irrelevant. |
CIV was better. simple as that |
apam? who be apam? did he play the last game? which i believed i watched. b/c i didnt see him ![]() chei, e go better |
@bgees ![]() i thought that sports section is all for fun. nothing serious. how come all these abuses? 2. i did not abuse you. i only accused the club. na ya papa club? take am easy na. haba ![]() 3. after all, no be lie i talk ![]() @jarzie man utd plays evra and anderson very often. and saha occasionally (he's always injured) but again, man utd is not the team to use for this comparison. man utd and liverpool have been the pro white clubs(pro england clubs actually in those days). i thought you'll talk of southern clubs like portsmouth, arsenal, villa . . (even west ham. the club of british nationalists) anyway, bgees and co. dont let it get to your nerves o. b/c i'm gonna say it again. wait for the next game ![]() we never walk alone . . . . we walk with loosers ![]() looserfools ![]() |
you can abuse me, no wahala. perhaps that is the way you abuse anyone who disagrees with you. you cant argue. you have no point to make. but pls learn how to debate. |
you guys are all beating about the bush. this is simply a case of a failed nation. look at me, darfur, a graduate, coming to the UK to do masters degree, yet i do cleaning job. is it normal? and yet i'm even lucky to get that cleaning job( you can laugh at me, i wont mind)if they protest in nigeria, police will shoot them to death and nothing happens. at least in SA they can protest. when they vote, their vote doesnt count in nigeria. they cant even go to the embassy/high commision/consulate to protest b/c they know too well that they have no govt. in effect, they are fugitives. and the story is the same all over the world. from greece to poland to fiji, to argentina. . . countries that you cant even place in a map. evidence of a failed state. ![]() may be it is good in the long run , perhaps when we are completely battered internationally we can then come home and ask some hard guestions to our leaders. perhaps it may get to a stage where we are totally threatened outside our borders and we can come home to build. may be . . . . . but for now, the tears continue |
aleks, there is no such thing as a perfect democracy. 2. the reason why this delegate system was put in place is to attempt to institute parity among peoples. if we go by population alone, then those with higher majorities will always win. imagine the former western region, if an election is held there, whoever is popular in lagos will always win the election b/c lagos has more population than the other states combined. so someone can decide to win elections by campaigning in lagos only. but no, delegates are awarded to the others too. so candidates will go for the others too and they wont be ignored. even in nigeria, elections are not won by numbers alone. we have a system that values spread of votes. that is why we put those issues like being able to win at least 33% of the votes in 66% of the states. |
you made no point mr. say the truth. you are saying nothing. the greatest beneficiary of the war was Ojukwu. he appeared to be a messiahto the ibos. ojukwu himself says it the power is non negotiable. once you taste it, you want it over and over again and again. he sent young men to their early graves in the name of a revolution. did you realise that he declared biafra after gowon split the east into three states cutting out the rivers and cross river areas? he felt threatened. he had an excuse to declare a war but he was not outrightly altruistic. he didnt use wisdom and because of that, the igbos lost a generation of young men and women. and when the war came to his door steps, he did what all war leaders do . . . . . . escape. he can't be my hero ![]() i'll rather admire major nzeogwu, ifeajuna, ademola ademoyega, gideon orkar, etc. these were real men. they don't run from war, but face war. unlike war leaders like hitler(who prefered to kill himself than face the russians, a big coward) saddam hussein(who surrendered to american soldiers and could not fight even when with a gun) ossama bin laden(who preaches death by suicide but has refused to lead by example as if he doesnt want the same paradise he promised those who die will get) idi amin(who ran away when the tanzanian troops came to his door step) Ojukwu( who fled to cote'divoire when the nigerian troops marched into biafran heartland and lived to marry beauty gueen and contest elections after preaching that biafra shall fight to the last man in great oratory skills sending millions to their unfortunate early graves) i'm too wise to be fooled. at least not by these guys. don't tell me he is ibo i don't care. he did not help the ibos in any way other than mere rhetorics. so my friend, get educated and be informed. appraise issues before opening your mouth. ![]() |

in the long run
