ChrisKels: Next thing una go talk say Cameroun were able to beat Guinea Bissau bkus the Bissau were sh1t, while Nigeria struggled against Burundi bkus Burundi is an African giant
The way some of u guys downplay the results of the big boys just to make Eagles look good, makes me lmao
Darkelf even went as far as calling Marega a crap? Like seriously? Wow.
Somebody said Mali couldn't beat Burundi over two legs, hence, Nigeria did a yeoman's job by scrapping past them Lol. Abeg if we should reason through that line, then Nigeria is better than England, after all, we defeated the same Iceland team that knocked England outta the Euros
Before y'all begin yarn dust, trust me, Burundi is as shitty as all the perceived minnows, thing is that we got our tactics wrong, Rohr shouldn't have started Mikel as the AM and Iwobi as a winger when u have Musa and Onyekuru on the bench. He shouldn't have started Paul when he knew his wingers are gonna be more of inverted forwards than true wingers, since Paul feeds on crosses. Rohr had square pegs in round holes that was what made Burundi look a bit okay, not because they were/are good. As soon as Rohr corrected the mistakes, una no see how poor Burundi appeared? Make una try shun sentiments and be rational abeg Why are you people like this on this thread? I said he is above average at best. I never said he was crap. Please, If you're going to refer to someone's post, at least be HONEST about it Moussa is above average at best. Nigerian team is filled with above average players. Simple |

komekn: I would not show that level of disdain and disrespect to players with such attributes.
We may live to regret it.
Although you may not appreciate him there are EPL clubs looking at him and the price is over £30 million. Which EPL team? He couldn't score or assist in two legs against Liverpool. Same as yesterday. Just pace and power with no end product. Goals win games and if as a striker, you can't score, you should assist and if you can't do either , then you're an impotent striker. I repeat, Moussa is an average striker |

Curtisaxel7: Nwanne abum nwa afo Igbo. I am a proud Igbo man. Far be it from me to associate Ndigbo as a whole with poverty and frustration. I can never do that.
The guy in question, gustav is an Igbo guy pretending to be a Ghanaian in order to gain attention. He happens a bad liar however, and has often dropped Igbo phrases here inadvertently (forgetting that he was supposed to be a Ghanaian).
I love Ndigbo but we cannot let a few efulefus (social misfits) to continue to drag our name in the mud.

Danielnino00: In 2013, the situation wasn't much different. But we still won.
On a more serious note, why are you so hell bent in seeing this team fail... U have nothing but criticism for everything they have done so far!! Can't u show a little optimism and support?
If you aren't a Nigerian, just say it we will understand ..
I find it hard to believe that a Liverpool fan will be this pessimist toward his national team . Unless u started supporting Liverpool in the last 5 years... Where do I even start with your comments? Did you see where I earlier said we should beat guinea? No, you didn't because you choose to probably ignore that part but you're quick to jump into my comments when I downplay our chances. Kontinue. You hear? |

Freehuman: An average Nigerian citizen cannot sustain a rational argument. They always resort to abuse. Ay and Basketmouth filled auditoriums for shows in London since the fall of last decade. Does it mean they are popular comedians in London? Nope. They are the best in Nigeria but have a particular and minute audience in England and the audience largely consist African immigrants and few of their English friends.
In my opinion there is nothing wizkid or Davido is doing that Psquare or D'banj didn't do. If you want to rate them as known around the world because of international collaborations then D'banj had the likes of Kanye West, Snoop Dogg work with him. He even signed as a Good Time artiste (Kanye West's record label) and performed shows in America side by Side with Kanye West and those top artistes then. He was even in Akon's clique. Same with the defunct Psquare. Rick Ross, T. I collaborations and that Akon clique. The Psquare brothers did beat indigenous London Artistes to win a one million dollars cash prize in one musical competition then. They always did perform that Michael Jackson pop dance that thrilled the Foreign audience then. Despite their achievements you wouldn't compare them with American and British artistes who are citizens. The hype around Wizkid and Davido is big because of their career rivalry and the popularity of social media. Davido fans will always want to present Davido as more popular and vice versa. Like a religion, when you tell them the truth from their enclaves that they (their artistes) are not big outside English speaking African countries like the Nigerian media portray them to be, they begin to attack you mentioning how broke you are than wizkid, how they can buy your family, how unpopular you are and so on. The real people who have first hand experience of their sojourn abroad wouldn't say anything because of the hostility and fear of abuse by their Nigerian followers. You just said it all. Let Nigerians keep on showcasing crass ignorance. That's what they are known for. Not smart thinking and wise engagements |

Oasis007:

So Football has become 2+2=4?! LMAO! Because Mali could not beat Burundi and we did it, thus we are superior to the Malians?! All the Goals they scored are lightweight?!
We should be more focused on our chances and Tactics instead of raising our Expectations to the extent we won't be able to control it when/if we are disappointed.
Some Dudes are already proclaiming our Squad as the best in the Tournament and kinda unbeatable. Surprisingly, the Crew Leader is someone who is very much emotional and can make U-Turn at a slight Opportunity.
We should be analyzing the Formation, Tactics, Strength and Weakness of the Teams that are likely to pose threat to us, rather than underestimating their Capabilities. Humility |

Lots of low scoring games...a lot of exciting games... the small teams giving the big boys a run for their money, but last last they are in their rightful place .. A few of them may make it out of the group as best third placed team... But round of 16 is the bus stop... One of them will make it to the quarter finals |

krattoss: lol..that boy ain't worth it I swear
I have battled more superior people from different climes online..I have locked horns with Americans on FB. that boy is only but a jobless troll who spends all day in nairaland sniffing through our news network more than we Nigerians whilst looking for the negatives.
Come to think of it, he even knows more about Nigeria than he knows about his country Ghana.
Apart from Accra,I do t even know a goddamn city in Ghana and neither do I care to know, not to talk of sniffing through Ghana websites looking for news about the country. Your enemies and envious friends will always sniff and follow u up to know ur ups and downs that's sign of envy and jealous.
That boy is not worth a kilobyte from my data and it's best we ignore him to oblivion.. Who knows where they have something big as online forum as nairaland over there in Ghana.? The simple thing to do is ignore trolls. |
