jihday: Africa my Africa What exactly is wrong with Africans? Why are we cursed with Mediocrity? Why can't we get the some things right? How can a tram Dr forget such? Shouldn't that be priority on his mind? Was he carried away by his position as team Dr that he forgot his primary responsibilities and decided to focus on "enjoying a vacation trip" in Egypt? This mentality of the average African self...when Seine has been "blessed" with a position especially not by merit, they tend to perform poorly. In a saner society, this idiot would have been sent home and his assistant take over (if possible) I'm not even Congolese but I feel for them. This kind of rubbish only happens in Africa. God, wetin we do you abeg? When will Africa be liberated from corruption, favoritism, inept leaders and selfish/greedy followers? Abeg, guys this African mentality is making us a laughing stock. Its not good for the way the average African is viewed when he travels outta this continent. Which kain wahala be all this ones self? We no go sell this continent back to Europeans/North-Americans so? |

TheGoodJoe: When a player has space, he has time to make decisions that can cause damage to the opposition. A good example is France 98, Ronald De Boer vs Carlos in the Brazil - Netherlands game. During the game, De Boer was dribbling Carlos repeatedly and giving crosses to Kluivert who kept getting closer with dangerous nods but could not score.
Mario Zagallo, coach of Brazil ordered Carlos to leave De Boer since he could not stop him and go and stop the headers of Kluivert. This tactical calculation proved a mistake because when De Boer got the ball, he had the Space, which in turn gave him time to pick an accurate cross and Kluivert buried the header in the goal in between Carlos legs.
The concept is spending time looking for players who are not marked, free. These players will have the time to cause problems to the opposition.
As Xavi plays, he looks for players who are free whether defence or attack, full back and midfielders. With time, the team gets to create deadly chances to score. Thanks for this |

Earthquake3: Can I, yes
Xavi calculates how much time it takes for a through pass to reach a player whether he will be offside or not
He also calculates how many touches he can take in a small space before he is closed down
That's why his game is so simple Thanks bro |

SerVik: If this argument is about who the better footballer is, it is clearly dinho. His talent level was off the charts.
If however, it is about who understands the game more, then it is xavi all day everyday. xavi's understanding of the game is second to none. His utilization of the concept of time and space was a delight to watch.
Let me put it this way. If xavi and ronaldinho where to go into coaching, who do you think would make the better coach? Xavi is guardiola level brilliant Please expatiate further on this. I've seen many guys use it here. Thanks |

bossto: Someone should inform Rohr not to use 3-4-5 formation. I hate nonsense, we can't use it against Argentina, and stoop so low to use it against common Burundi..No! I feel this formation limits our attacking strength hence my dislike for it.
Let's do our normal 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 even if it would amount to us losing the game! Let me just enjoy the game..shikena!! If we loose, no amount of beautiful play will make you enjoy the game |

Danielnino00: After all the media report and gists from camp... I'm expecting the following change in the lineup tomorrow.
1) Akpeyi will start in goal
2) Shehu won't start.. its now obvious he has fallen down the pecking order..Aina will play RB or RWB..
3) Midfield combo will be Ndidi- Mikel- Iwobi....
4) If Rohr should rest Kalu, Chukwueze will most likely start.. But if its 3-5-2, it's Ighalo and Musa up front...
But then its not sure yet . Aside Kalu, we don't know yet if the players that fell sick in camp have fully recovered.
God help us o . I heard Kalu was rushed to the hospital after a heart attack |

Curtisaxel7: By the way, let's talk about Iwobi for a bit. Sentiments aside, that guy doesn't fill me with confidence at all.
His shooting is pathetic, ditto his long passing abilities, his goal sense below par, aerial ability is zero, ball control average at best....the only thing he has going for him is his one-two passes and once in a blue moon accurate defence splitting pass.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm a big Iwobi fan and I wish him the very best but if I were in Rohr's shoes right now, I'd play Etebo as 10 ahead of Iwobi.
Your thoughts? Etebo will be worse as a ten. I will rather play Mikel there. Etebo will make Iwobi look like Pirlo at that position |

Danielnino00: It might be for his own personal gain...He needs to score enough and win the AFCON to boost his chance of winning the Balon d'or..
Wait till u see Mane.. He will play selfishly too
if Egypt weren't the host, they won't make my top 5 favorite team to win the tournament Their petty selfishness cost us the league. If you can assist your team mates to score goals, that also counts for something |

I just hate Africa leaders...... they have no shame I dry tell you. A study is needs on the genetics of Africans. It seems they are very prone to corrupt practices and other forms of wickedness at the expense of development. Not saying there isn't corruption elsewhere ooo but African leaders will steal and steal and not do their jobs. |

Bolowolowo: There are many studies that show this. Indigenous Latin Americans are disproportionately affected by malnutrition and malnourishment. This was seriously exacerbated during the colonial era. They were affected yes but its because of the malnutrition now and not the malnutrition of before. See when, the effect of the colonial malnutrition is manifest as obesity and high BMI among Latinas |

Bolowolowo: Indigenous Latin Americans tend to be short and underdeveloped due to years of malnutrition as result of the Spainiards, Criollos and white hispanics harsh rule rule over them. Nope. Yes they tend to be short but its mostly due to a combo of genes and diet. The US food is mainly GMO. |
