Was this "resolution" between you and your mum only? Or was it between you, your wife, and both mothers? The reason I ask is because it's simply not good enough for you to scold your mum, without her tendering an apology to you wife's mum, and then both of you expecting things to carry on as usual.

You're a married man. Yes, we should at all times accord respect to our parents, but that doesn't mean they are above reproach. They, like any other human being are not infallible and prone to make mistakes. The mature thing is acknowledging one's mistake and doing the right thing, inclusive of tendering an apology where necessary.

I feel bad whenever I read stories like this , that's how my family doctor killed his 1 and half yr old son, he was rushing out to save a patient at the hospital , put the car on reverse and crushed his lil son, who he taught was with the mother not knowing the boy was following him, ....things like this can be avoided if we are more careful, this father in question was a bit careless and inpatient , one require a lot of patience when dealing with kids, he could have checked properly before closing the car, he even ignored the baby when he noticed his crying changed ! Haba what kinda father does that?

Abeg I dey vex, can't imagine the pains the lil boy is going through right now.

I wake up by 4.00am , cos I have to prepare food for the kids , get them ready for sch,do sch runs and get to the office by 7.15. ........

I think u just want to pick on her cos I don't see anything wrong with her waking up by 6am, if I have nothing doing like her, I would even wake up by 7.00 am
