To borrow from Ronald Reagan, Recession is when your neighbor loses his job. Depression is when you lose yours. And Recovery is when Buhari loses his. |
zico530:Well, even the president is a herdsman #justjoking |
AdaNri1:Great pitch.... I wanna marry you! |
Nice policy. I wish all the stakeholders the strength to carry out the task and overcome the power of vested interest. Good some of the policies have deadlines for evaluation. |
I think this matter shld be looked into by an independent investigator and not all the Queen's college social media shenanigans. Someone might be an exceptional teacher but that doesn't stop the person from been a molester; that's why we often say that no one is perfect. Remember, Bill Clinton was a very good president, a husband, and a father but doesn't stop him from having an affair with miss Lewinsky. |
transbut5:It implies that you may have made it but they want to formalize it with the European Commission before contacting you because I was contacted on the 3rd march. I think a Congratulation would be appropriate. |
transbut5:I applied for AMASE too and have gotten a feedback that I was not chosen for Erasmus Mundus scholarship. However, the mail also stated that I was proposed for a Special Window Scholarship for Africa, Caribbean and Pacific, on position 2 which is subject to approval by European commission in April. I don't what that means but hope it goes well. |
castroevans:Well, our national minimum wage is 18k, the dude nearly doubled. So how do you expect the court to protect from such a meager pay? |
ISpiksDaTroof:This rather too strong term to describe someone. |
Blackfire:Benue is now in the South, right? Keep on discriminating. |
Whoever raises this motion on the floor of the house need to be commended and we the people need to debate it and compare with global best practices. Many Nigerian study abroad and write SAT, TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, GMAT etc which validity ranges between 2-5 years and could be written almost biweekly. However, in Nigeria we unnecessarily waste admissions seeker time by putting them under the pressure of writing this test once a year and valid for only that year. Why won't they subscribe to sharp practices in order to pass? My take on this is for jamb to be made valid for two years and written every month with a very limited number of candidates in a controlled environment (maybe one center per state) so that it could be properly supervised. This will ensure the test reflect the real ability of its candidates and as well gain its general acceptance by all schools with no need of taking any post UTME. Candidates should also be able to write it as many time as they can as long as they don't meet the cut-off mark of their desired school. JAMB shouldn't set cut-off marks but schools depending on the school's competitiveness If this is done, JAMB could be internationally accepted as a substitute to SAT to even secure admission into foreign universities. |
dustmalik:I think the case met the legal doctrine of quod est necessarium est licitum, that which is necessary is legal. |
Ahzyz:You will not pay the proposed 5% unemployment tax but rather benefit from it because you are not technically employed as you currently earn less than the national minimum wage which is 18k. This man is really thinking though not perfect but so far he is the most Nigerian centric senator. If this ideas are fine tuned, it will help APC achieve one of its campaign promises. |
Happy Matriculation to you all, i wish you all a fun 4/5 years of studies at this great citadel of knowledge. |
I wonder how we get to this point were many Nigerians are common sense bankrupt. The judgement the tribunal delivered indicated that the APGA candidate forged his University certificate; even the registrar of Uniport affirmed it. if APGA national chairman were to be the chairman of the tribunal, with this kind of evidence he would have nullified the election on the ground of certificate forgery and order a rerun of the election which of course the APGA candidate (by extension APGA) will not be qualified to run. In civilized society, he will be jailed for forging uniport certificate. I don't think everything should be politicized if we are serious about our national development. |

First of all, I love ur name. However, are you serious? That must a very intimidating recruitment process, God dey sha. |
queenfav:I wish I studied law! Here you are regretting I understand how u feel bro. Here's the thing, build your soft skill and decide a part. You can do it! In between have you watched suits? |
Lately, I've been having deep reflection on our educational systems and the proposed reforms to suite the 21st century curriculum. It would amaze you what I gathered. Back up a little to my motivation to taking this reform personal, I remember protesting to been taught the model and functionality of a BLACK AND WHITE TV during my final year in school when we already have HDs and XD capable of implementing HDMI and other functionalities. Reality struck when I had to fix my girl friend's TV. After discovering a faulty LED, she asked me to fix it, (because to her, I can fix anything) I had to admit I was only taught how the Black and White TV works using outdated cathode tube technology. well, my girlfriend seemed to have something for Engineers so she started acting funny Blame me? May be you should cause I should have gone extra miles right? Wrong... We were busy cramming to pass. Lol. Ok on a more serious note, we really need to review our school curriculum to solve real issues instead of conforming and sticking to ideas that no longer applies. |
davide470:yeah |
I just got an invite for aptitude test. Anyone else in the forum? |
Eshinwaju:I thought I am the one who always feel the way. I feel disappointed at having such witty man as an emir. I miss him anyway. |
Mr Buhari has repeated stated that he is a believer of democratic system, what else do you want OP? if the the system could not indict them for those alleged corrupt charges even when they decamped to APC, it means that they all innocent. |
fun4:This is a classic example of what happened between Bill Clinton and Algore. Algore excluded Clinton from his campaign trail cos of the Clinton-Lewinsky's scandal, and he subsequently lost the election. Moral: Conceal your intentions and use anybody you can to muster support then discard them after your victory at the poll. Politics is a game of number. |
Atigba:Go check Covenant and Landmark Universities then come back and post this again. |
now i know why i no longer see those crazily distorted captchas from yahoo. i love the captchas that simply ask for an arithmetic addition. |
Congrat bro!!! |
Here's my opinion: Nigeria has to deal with it's own problems first. Fighting a war on multiple fronts is damn near impossible. Deal with the US funded Boko Haram first. However you and Africa can't and mustn't let IFS (Islamo-Fascist State. I refuse to call them ISIS or ISIL) get a strong foothold in Africa. We have seen that Islamo-fascist terrorists get a foothold they can quickly overrun a state and keep hold of it. Just look at Al-Shabaab in Somalia and MOJWA and Ansar Dine under the guise of the Tuareg Rebellion in Mali. These Islamo-fascists have always been expansionists and they won't rest till most of Africa is under their boot. Don't look for support towards America. The USA doesn't care. Don't look for support in the Middle East. The Levantine Arabs are a bunch of useless cowards for the most part. Look at how easy it was for IFSIL to overrun the US backed and trained Iraqi army. Lebanon is practically a non entity and the Lebanese are just plain useless cowards. The Gulf Arabs states like Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar etc. are richer, better equipped and probably better trained than their Levantine counterparts and could easily hold off and even beat IFSIL but they don't give 2 sh1ts about them. What I don't get is why don't the Egyptians ask their North African cousins to help get rid of IFS? No matter, as much as MENAs (Middle Easterners and North Africans) hate Sub Saharan Africans they at least know which side to back. With the success of AMISOM whooping Al-Shabaab's arse. The Nigerian military pulling their fingers out of their arses to put Boko Haram on the back foot (with the help of the Chadian and CMR military). Egypt knows that it can't rely on the Middle East at all. I'd propose a multi African military force under the AU banner to combat IFS (like AMISOM). Different African states volunteer to pledge some soldiers and equipment (like tanks and sh1t) to help get rid of IFS. This would show the world that: 1. Africans solving their own problems. 2. Islamo-fascism won't be tolerated in Africa. 3. That Africans are a force to be reckoned with. The alternative isn't really an option. Islamo-fascists growing more powerful in Africa and overrunning it. Being that IFS is overwhelmingly made up of MENA men they will castrate black men and rape and sell black women like their forefathers have done from the start of Islam. Imagine these savages https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/pics/532.jpg Raping and enslaving pretty Nigerian girls and women like this. They will do it if you let them. you such a smart and objective dude...i will love to work folks like you in the nearest future to make our region the envy of the world. |
I absolutely refuse to refer to this group by the title it claims for itself (Islamic State), because in my opinion it is a perversion of religion and travesty of governance. Daesh is their name and that's what we should all call them. they keep spilling into every country in the region, why don't they try Israel? i will just watch them wearing a yarmulke while the Israeli Defence Force vanquishes them. |
abraka00:wow....i am appalled at ur reaction to Ameachi's plan to protest if the election is postponed. what more lawful way can one ear his view if not through a peaceful protest which is every one fundamental in a democracy. There is no well meaning Nigerian who make plans for life that this election date shifting did not affect his/her schedule and deserve an apology not for electoral gain but out political conviction. NYSC POP date shifted for the election, investors/businesses speculating till the end of the election, people traveled in view of the unforseen event that will follow the election, some higher institutions closed down..... after all is said and done, may this be for the general interest of the country. #GodBlessNigeria and may he forever bless its people and guide the leaders aright. |
...every time I see him in that emir dress.....i just feel like crying...
such a waste
