Credit Score - certificate

Credit history - experience

Experience > certificate

Build your experience.

If you don't have a history, you are high risk to these lenders and even if your score is 999 it does not guarantee CC will be approved for you or lenders will give you good rates.

Credit history is a record of how you’ve managed the repayment of debts, such as credit cards and loans.

Credit score is like an opinion everybody has one or a suggestion telling the creditor this person is worth checking out. Your history is what determines your substance. The creditor looks at your profile and what do they see - nada - they move on or the sharks offer you rates that are ridiculously high.
Thanks for the response..

How do I build up the experience?

Una remember the other day Argos deny me their card after hard search but after some weeks perhaps a month plus, i got a mail that I am qualified for a different type of card blah blah...

I checked my experian credit score and discover my point is now at 746 cool

Please what can I benefit from this score at this stage? Or should I keep going maybe to earn more score before applying for anything? cool

I presently do not have any CC except my monzo flexi card (don't know if its fully considered as a cc)

Is the 746 still not enough? For sth maybe mortgage grin

Many thanks my people
Gotten a CC yet? Mine is 771 and I'm yet to get any CC

Your international DL, is tied with the arrival stamp on your passport.....

Once it hits 12 month's, your IDL rights don expire.......
I'm aware of that, I arrived in September. If I do any driving licence with an issuing date of November, won't that be any issue?

I just intend to drive till April or May before going for the test.

Thanks for the response

Good Morning boss.

Please I want to make an enquiry.

I arrived the UK in September, and I recently started driving here.

The international driving permit I came in with will expire in February and honestly speaking I'm not ready for the driving test. Can I apply for a new nigeria licence? Or I will have issues with the date it is issued, since I'm already In the UK.

I want to drive for like 4 to 5 months before going for the test

Good morning house.
I'm 2 months in the UK. And I just checked my credit score on experian and it is 771. How do I boost it up? And can I apply for a credit card now ? And if yes, how do I go about that

Hi guys, please where are you guys booking affordable and non-transit visa flights (from Lagos to Heathrow/Gatwick) abeg?
Let me tell you what I did, if you are either in lagos or Abuja, kindly arrange your bag and keep checking wakanow for same day or next day flight.. some people cancel their flight few hours or days before travel and this will crash the price of the ticket.. Well this is how I got my ticket when I travelled.

Hello guys, i just got my UK driver’s License.

I came to The UK about 5 weeks ago on work Visa. To cut the long story short, i lived in a country for some years and i have their valid driver’s license. When i got to The UK, a friend told me that i can swap my license to get a UK one within 2 weeks, that Licenses from some designated countries can be swapped to a UK one. He showed me his own and i was surprised.

I did a little research and found out that it’s true. Went to the Post office 2 weeks ago and then i filled the DVLA form. I enclosed my BRP card alongside my license and a £43 Cheque. I sent it to DVLA Swansea.

I got a mail today, inside the envelope is my UK driver’s license. I’m so happy as my job demands a full UK license.

Just decided to share this here, thanks guys
I have international driveline permit from Nigeria. Can I apply with that ?
