A 37-year-old woman, Adeyola Afonja, has allegedly beaten her eight-year-old daughter to death for stealing N350.

The Plateau High Court on Wednesday ordered her remand in prison.

The police charged Afonja, who resides at Etobaba Village, Jos North, with culpable homicide, an offence punishable with death if found guilty.

Justice S.P Gang, gave the order, after the visibly distraught mother pleaded not guilty to the charge stating that she only wanted to correct her child.


Justice Gang adjourned the case until Oct. 8, for continuation of hearing and to enable her get legal representation.

Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp. Onegbenoise Osho, told the court that the accused person used a cable wire to flog her daughter in a bid to correct her after she claimed she stole N350 from her mum.

Osho alleged that the little girl collapsed during the fatal beating and was rushed to the Plateau State Specialist Hospital were she was confirmed dead on arrival.

The prosecutor added that the mother (accused) immediately informed her husband, Mr Anisuida Felix, whom she is separated from about the development.

He said that Felix, reported the matter at the Nasarawa Gwom Police Station.

hi guys! I'm typing this write up with sifia pains in my heart.

I'm a Penultimate Student in one of the varsities in the South, there's this Young Lady (23 years of age) that has been having issues with her admission process, she sought for admission since 2015 till date and all her efforts to be admitted into the university has been abortive and futile. She has been applying for Mass Communication which we all know is competitive but at the end her postutme aggregates doesn't meet up with the required cut off mark needed for the course.

So this year I played a brotherly and fatherly role in her admission process after I realized that age is no longer on her side, I advised her to take Linguistics as the course is less competitive and I even had to use my elder sister as a reference point as she studied the course and graduated with a 2:1 and today so far by God's grace she's working, earning very well and deem fit to be among those that has been successful in life.
so after I counseled her and she obliged I now took the task of tutoring her in her 4 UTME subjects at the detriment of my own academics and study time table as I counted it a sacrifice all because I wanted her to be admitted and I even bought textbooks and taught her and explained many topics to her, highest she ever had during those years of her seeking admission has always been 210.
So this year's UTME after my tutorials she finally scored 250, I also did same strategy in her postutme and she nailed 70% and her aggregate fell at 66 which is still not enough for Mass Communication as it was pegged at 72%.

Now the crux of the matter is that she has been admitted into the linguistics but can u imagine this girl has never appreciated me nor even thanked me for assisting her and contributing to her admission success??
This girl had the nerve to send me a voice note on WhatsApp, and in the voice note she shouted and raised her voice and accused me of spoiling her career, that she told her sister that a certain guy (me) wrongly advised her to chose the course.
This girl gave her sister the phone and she called me and yelled at me for misdirecting her sister to a "stupid and useless Course"

This girl I helped now called me and told me that her family is already made because they all studied professional courses, her dad is an accountant, her mom is a medical doctor, her two sisters, one is a nurse, the other is an accountant while the brother is a lawyer and the other one studied Petroleum Engineering and working with Chevron.
So because of my advise she has now become a disgrace to the family that she regret Knowing me that she would have been admitted this year into mass com, so I have spoilt her career because I myself too I'm studying a useless course (Environmental Management)

maybe the guy was already infected before the act or maybe while the condom broke he didn't mind but still went on to pounce raw.

I will try to be as brief as possible. Sometime this year I had a fling with a girl, I have always been careful as to use protection when I ever I have sex, unluckily for me my condom broke, I realized this immediately and pulled out, got a new condom and continued, wasn’t up to three weeks or so I fell ill, malaria like symptoms and all, during that same time I started having some hiv symptoms like.

it's impossible for u to contract hiv just immediately ur condom broke, u only contract hiv if she releases her semens into ur blood stream, u only were infected if when ur condom broke u still continued to thrust in till she released inside u.

the only striking feature of the phone is that it's screen size is extra larger (6.3) very large and also it's battery is super strong and then it's an Android 9 version with a 2Gigahertz cpu which means no matter how large and super a game is, it'll still play without hanging.
but it's just 1GB ram and the camera is just 8MP very bad.
so I'd advise u Go for the other purvior 3air version it's 38-40k with 3Gb ram
