SANDOSKI:Ok what? Agreed or not? |
Understanding a man is like holding the key to a successful relationship, and every woman definitely wants to have a successful relationship. It’s a known fact that men think differently from women; understanding his way of thinking is a sure way to have a better relationship with him. Below are 20 things women should know about men. 1. HIS FRIENDS ARE A HUGE PART OF HIS LIFE A lot of women try to cut a man from his pals, or try to make him choose between his friends and her. This is an unhealthy thing to do; he has known his friends almost all his life and trying to cut them off is like cutting off the power and expecting the tv set to stay on. 2. HE WOULD ALWAYS LOVE HIS MUM It’s hard to see a man who doesn’t love his mum — and that’s a fact. It’s unfair and unwise to try to make him choose between you and his mum; you are the two most important women in his life. 3. HE WOULD NEVER LEARN TO BE PATIENT WHEN YOU KEEP WASTING TIME You know this usual scenario that always happens between husbands and wives, and guys and their girlfriends? Women tend to always be late when they have a date or an event to go with their man. Yes, he understands that you have to look good (which he wants you to), but waiting for long periods is never fun — he would never learn to be patient with it. 4. IF YOU’VE FORGIVEN HIM THEN TRY NOT TO BRING IT UP AGAIN A lot of the times, women bring up old things that have happened in the relationship — things that have even been done and dusted. Every man hates this; if you have forgiven him then try not to bring up his past mistakes at the slightest instance. 5. DON’T USE SEX AS A WEAPON A woman’s favourite weapon is sex; withholding sex is her way of showing him who is boss. That’s a dangerous game to play, and it wouldn’t help your relationship or marriage in the long run. 6. INITIATE SEX SOMETIMES More often than not, it’s the man who initiates sex, and this makes it boring to him over time. The truth is, he wants you to initiate sex sometimes. This would definitely thrill him and make him feel wanted. 7. DON’T EXPECT HIM TO KNOW WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND ALWAYS A lot of women have issues with their man and expect him to know what’s going on in their mind, even without saying a word. He isn’t a magician or mind reader — the earlier you tell him, the better. 8. HE WANTS YOU TO LOOK GOOD WHEN YOU’RE OUT WITH HIM I know I mentioned how he wants you to be on time, but this doesn’t mean he doesn’t want you looking great — of course, he does. He wants you to look like a queen when you are out with him; this way, he would be proud when with you. 9. HE DOESN’T LIKE COMPETITION If he’s in your life, give him the benefit of doubt that it’s him and just him alone. He doesn’t want to feel jealous about another man lurking somewhere behind. 10. COMPLIMENT HIM MORE Yes, he wants to hear sweet things, like he’s looking good or he’s great in bed, or he’s charming and attractive — those words would make him feel loved and appreciated. |
11. BE SUPPORTIVE OF HIM He wants to know that he has a rock of a woman who’s solidly behind him at all times, a woman who believes in him and would be supportive of his dreams and ambitions. 12. DON’T TURN EVERYTHING TO AN ARGUMENT Don’t get angry easily and turn everything to a quarrel or an argument. Everything shouldn’t be taken that seriously. 13. THE FACT THAT HE NEEDS A LONE TIME DOESN’T MEAN HE’S TIRED OF YOU Sometimes, a man might feel the need to be alone; it doesn’t for a second mean he’s tired of you or the relationship; it simply means he wants to think and clear his head. 14. DON’T REMIND OF THE PAST As far as a man is concerned, the past is past and shouldn’t be brought to the present. Also, your past relationships should be forgotten as well. 15. HE WANTS YOU TO NEED HIM He doesn’t only want to be the man in your life, but he also wants you to need him. He wants to feel useful in your life. 16. TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY Yes, he loves you and would continue to; but it doesn’t mean you should eat anyhow and gain weight. Take care of your body; make him see you as sexy forever 17. BE HOT FOR HIM WHEN YOU ARE HOME I see a lot of women wear shabby and even torn clothes when they are alone with their man. Deep down, he wants you to be sexy even when it’s just the two of you at home. 18. IF YOU ARE ANGRY WITH HIM, LEARN TO TELL HIM Many women get angry with their man and give him the silent treatment. This isn’t the right way to go about things; tell him what he did wrong and why you are angry with him, in a civil way. 19. YOU CAN’T BE ALWAYS RIGHT Everyone thinks they are right, and this also happens in many relationships and marriages — and many women are fond of this habit. You can’t be always right; try as much as possible to see things from his view. - See more at: http://imedia.ng/20-things-every-woman-should-know-and-understand-about-men/5/#sthash.zAVE8X4U.dpuf |

Twenty years after it was discovered, the Aje field located in Oil Mining Lease 113 has achieved its first oil, putting Lagos on the list of oil-producing states in the country. The milestone is coming after several missed targets for the achievement of first oil, the latest being March this year. Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum Company Limited, a wholly-owned indigenous firm and operator of the OML 113 offshore Lagos, on Tuesday announced the commencement of production of crude oil from the field. Other partners are New Age Exploration Nigeria Limited, EER (Colobus) Nigeria Limited, Pan Petroleum (Panoro Energy) Aje Limited and PR Oil & Gas Nigeria Limited. Panoro had in an update posted on its website on April 20 said the final hook-up procedures were in progress with a view to bringing the wells into production shortly. The YFP said after over 25 years of exploratory, appraisal and developmental activities, it had successfully pioneered the opening of the Frontier Benin Embayment, describing the Aje field as the first to record production from this part of Nigeria and the first production outside of the Niger Delta. It said the inauguration of the Front Puffin Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel was successfully completed after its arrival in Nigeria on March 16, 2016. Oil produced from the Aje field will be stored on the Front Puffin, which has production capacity of 40,000 barrels of oil per day and storage capacity of 750,000 barrels, according to the YFP. The Chairman, YFP, Mr. Tunde Folawiyo, was quoted in a statement to have said, “The attainment of this milestone is indeed a laudable achievement not just for the YFP, but for the Nigerian oil and gas industry as a whole and indeed Lagos State, which can now be addressed as an oil-producing state.” He said recording the achievement in the present global oil climate, together with the peculiar challenges of the field, was clearly a no mean feat. “We are very proud of and appreciate the efforts, determination and commitment of the entire Aje project team, past and present; the constant support from our regulators, the DPR and Ministry of Petroleum; and our financiers. We believe this crucial support will spur us on to even greater achievements,” Folawiyo added. Aje is an offshore field located in OML 113 in the western part of Nigeria in the Dahomey Basin. The field is situated in water depths ranging from 100 to 1,000 metres and is about 24 kilometres from the coast. It contains hydrocarbon resources in sandstone reservoirs in three main levels – a Turonian gas condensate reservoir, a Cenomanian oil reservoir and an Albian gas condensate reservoir. The joint venture partners had in October 2014 taken the final investment decision to develop the first phase of the field. They submitted the Field Development Plan to the Department of Petroleum Resources in January 2014 and it was approved in March, with first oil expected late in 2015. Yinka Folawiyo Petroleum was granted the Oil Prospecting License 309 in June 1991 as a sole risk contract under the Federal Government’s Indigenous Allocation Programme, which was put in place to encourage the development of a locally-owned and operated Nigerian upstream oil industry. The company said following the acquisition of 2D seismic data in 1994/95, and the drilling of the Aje-1 well in 1996, the field was discovered, adding that a second well, Aje-2, was drilled in 1997. After the successful drilling and testing of both wells, OPL 309 was converted to OML 113 in 1998, with an initial term of 20 years, it said on its website. http://www.punchng.com/lagos-joins-oil-producing-states-aje-field-begins-production/ |
DedeNkem:So it has become a crime for a husband to finger his wife (putting a finger in?) they are married for gawd sake even those who are not do it. And as for pouring anointing oil, (anointing oil is simply ViRGIN OLIVE OIL) its used for lubrication in older couple (she is 47yrs) and definitely not as wet as she use to be (if you are married and hav kids you will observe this about your partner) so a little olive oil wont do any harm cos its clean, doesnt smell and its healthy |

Ekiti State Government has shut seven schools run by the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti for failure to pay the Education Development Levy. Under a new tax regime in the state, pupils in primary and secondary schools are to pay N500 and N1,000, respectively. The Catholic schools had sought an exclusion from the payment, a request the state government rejected. The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti, Most Rev. Felix Ajakaye, who broke the news in Ado Ekiti, accused the state government of being insensitive, especially shutting the schools when pupils were preparing for their National Examination Council examinations Ajakaye said, “I am concerned about the propriety of imposing any development levy on pupils in Catholic mission schools in Ekiti State, moreover when our schools are paying various levies and taxes demanded by the local and state governments respectively. “The closure of the schools is painful to me. The pupils are preparing to sit for exams and the government is closing down their schools. This is insensitivity.” The diocese operates 15 primary and seven secondary schools in the state. Meanwhile, the state Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Jide Egunjobi, has confirmed the closure of schools. He added, “It is true, we shut the schools that failed to pay. Schools that paid are in operation. We only shut those that refused to pay. “We all agreed to the development levy at the education summit, so, there is no going back.” In a related development, the church has sued the state government for imposing levies on pupils. In a suit at the state high court by the Incorporated Trustees of the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti, the plaintiff asked the court to declare the imposition of such levies as illegal and unconstitutional. The plaintiff noted that the action violated Section 2 of Compulsory Free Universal Basic Education Act 2004 and Section 19 of the state Universal Basic Education Board Law. The defendants are the state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice as well as the Commissioner for Education. The church asked the court to determine “whether every child of primary school and junior secondary school age in the state is not entitled to free and compulsory basic education under Section 2 of Compulsory Free Universal Education Act, 2004 and Section 19 of Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board Law.” |
A former Minister for National Planning, Rasheed Gbadamosi, bought two luxury penthouses worth $2.6m in Panama in 2008 while serving as the Chairman of the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency, according to leaked data from Panamanian law firm, Mossack Fonseca. According to a documents sighted by Nigerian online newspaper, Premium Times, Gbadamosi who was recently appointed co-chairman of the Lagos at 50 planning committee, bought the two houses in the most opulent areas of Panama. Under Nigerian law, acquiring assets abroad is not illegal, but according to the Fifth Schedule of the constitution, chairmen and members of government boards or other governing bodies and staff of statutory corporations and of companies owned by the federal, state or local governments must declare their assets on assumption of duty and on leaving office. Apart from declaring their assets, appointees are also expected to justify their sources of income for whatever additional assets are acquired in-between the commencement of duties and departure from office. It could not be verified as of press time if Gbadamosi declared his interest in the two penthouses to the Code of Conduct Bureau. According to documents sighted by Premium Times, sometime in early 2008, the former minister approached Gilberto Aleman, a Panamanian real estate broker, to help him secure two posh penthouses owned by Nicolas Corcione, owner of Ciclones Corporation Inc and Cosmopolitan Corp, the companies under which the properties were registered. Valued at $1,365,000, the first penthouse Gbadamosi bought, is located in Ocean Park Tower 2, and consists of a surface area of 537.33 square meters, on floors 35 and 36 of the tower. The property is registered under the ownership of Ciclones Corporation Inc. The second penthouse is located in the same building as the first, Ocean Park Tower 2. It consists of a surface area of 479.88 square meters, on the 39th floor of the building. It was registered under the ownership of Cosmopolitan Corp. All attempts to speak with the ex-minister prove abortive as his telephone line did not connect while a text message was not responded to by of 7pm on Sunday. http://www.punchng.com/panama-papers-2-6m-penthouses-traced-ex-minister/ |

daretodiffer:Yeah right. I personally prefer to help a fellow man cos he knows that the probability of me expecting something back is slim indeed. the ladies have this sense of entitlement that even if you help without having anything in mind, the smartest amongst you will still bliv there something to it and hence wont be surprised when the catch comes later but the dum***t would feel its god sent and turn around to accuse men when the catch comes later. |
daretodiffer:Babe forget that talk, even GO's dont go about given pple money like that. And again there is no man, i repeat no man in this world that has fulfilled (really satisfied) the needs of his mom, his sister, his daughter, his niece ,his cousins, his in-laws, his neighbours, his church/mosque members that he would say its total strangers he wants to help. He might probably wanna help you cos you did something he would neva forget like save his life,. The life of a loved one or because one of your relatives has ever helped him in the past and that too would be in the form of given you a job , a capital to start a business or connecting you to someone he is sure can help you. Expecting something for nothing is a tall order. Thank god you've experience such its left for you to tell your friends, your sis, daughters etc that that is hw the world we live in now works. NB pls note too that whoever has something enough to be comfortable (financially) is smart. Becos if he isn't, there are a thousand and one individuals out there ready to take what you have frm you, and they might not necessarily do it nicely |
