lebete3000: Did the see where I said I'll be paying back- comfortably so, with my salary?
Besides is finding a rental car not the same as taking a loan? It's even worse in my opinion, cost it means you go use the car hustle day and night.
Me I just plan to use the car as a side gig, as my salary is gonna enter 550k by next year ending by God's grace. Deductions by my bank from my monthly salary will pay off the loan comfortably over the space of 5years, even if I no use the car hustle at all, let alone when I use it as a side gig, which most rental will never give you!
Think this my line of thought well again bro, and let me know what you think. Taking a loan to buy a car is fine but using 4m to buy a Camry for this hustle in this fuel bulaba is a wrong move Look for vehicles with smaller engine and buy My two cent |

Omoapena: I thought the intention was to use the car solely for Uber and pay off the debt with whatever you get from the hustle, i didn't see where you said you intend to use your salary to clear the loan....
Rentals isn't the same with taking loan to buy a car, rental will still give you sense of peace since the car isn't yours, and there will be no pressure on you coz you will know if you fail to remit and owner decides to retrieve his car, you're not loosing anything other than job. But when you take loan, the pressure to clear the loan, work pressure, car maintenance pressure and all will be a huge burden on you.
Anyway, since you intend to use your stable salary along with whatever you get from the car hustle, then it's fine....
Goodluck I thought I thought I thought Why don't you stop thoughtingDear brother, always read and digest a post before jumping into conclusions Raise your left hand, put your right hand on your armpit and repeat these: I will always read and digest a post before commenting Shalom |

pope191: Forex determines the price of crude oil. There’s no how exchange rate will be 1628 naira to a dollar and we will be buying fuel at 885. Free market means you sell at your own price without any form of regulation. Fuel should be at least 1350 naira. That will be around 1500/1600 in other state. I guess everywhere go scatter, so make them they commot shock for una body small small till uncle Dango tell us wetin he go sell give NNPCL nah when we go truly know where we deh.
40k fuel below… it is well Well I just hope by the time full tank gets to 100k I for don commot for this country by the grace of God. Things are damn difficult ATM I guess by now, drivers that makes millions week in week out now makes billions week in week out with the current increment 😆 |

Another update
Most apartments on the island also offer drivers incentive when you bring a rider to lodge
The incentive depends on your bargain with the manager. For example ziroc apartment and villa thirty three.
Note: you need to register for free at these apartment as a driver and call the manager to inform him of your coming and bargain your price |

ksmart027: Once cng comes to ph, i am converting my car asap. I think a lot of people don't know cng is hybrid system, and you can easily switch to petrol when the cng is exhausted. If any client load can't fit in the trunk or back seat, the person should request another ride simple. And if eventually i want to sell the car, i will uninstall the kit. My own is,if CNG installation becomes relatively affordable I will do it on my car If I get to put and riders load can't fit I will cancel and look for another rider After all I can afford to drive to as many pu as I want since the cost of CNG is very low thereby reducing my running cost On the other angle which one is nnpcl is still subsidising pms Why don't they remove the subsidy and close the chapter once and for all make all man know the price is now fixed because like this that 800+ pms is selling for now will turn to 2000 tomorrow and we will still be hearing it's because they are still paying subsidy 😡 |

pheelhip: I don't go such routes, I have seen such location hit 11k on indrive atimes. If you hurry to pick trips, you will pick lower fares.
But luck. I took from ikeja to unilag 8000 on indrive, went through Gbadaga, no traffic. Soft trip. From Finbars road to Agric ikorodu on indrive 11,300. From agric to Ogudu 5700 (low but I was rushing home). My vehicle is a 1.6l engine. Those trips I used 8ltrs fuel less than 5000. To cover the 3trips.
You see the variance in the prices. Indrive atimes offers good rates, but few peeps are so quick to accept rides on indrive thereby going for cheaper rates. I rather stay where I am for hours than to pick low rate trips except I am in an hurry.
I might have made more on bolt but I resent bolt for suggesting location I don't like, not bren able to choose my preferred location and distance. I made money eventually through indrive. I just don't go about driving through traffic. At the current pms price that 8l is almost 8000 naira Please be guided |

Omoapena: More than 1m self.
Let's say, he uses 60k fuel weekly, that's 240k monthly and 8 months have passed in this year, that's 1.9m in 8 months just on fuel.
That fuel matter no really dey pain me cox we use it to make money but you see engine oil, that shit is going up every week, they now sell total 20w-50 for 22,400, I'm pretty sure it must have gone up to 25k like this.
Tinubu is a curse on us Leave that man Thanks for the calculation tho |

The reason why I think any protest in a bid to reduce pms pump price will be futile is
If Lagos spearheads the protest, other states go tell you they have been buying fuel for more than 900 naira for a long time so make all man rest.
The thought of even going to queue is tiring and I need to work Kai

Pearl1910: Star boy sef no fit solve fuel scarcity problem baba say subsidy is gone, still they are spending x10 times more than PDP spent on subsidy. We only experienced fuel queues during Christmas period when "clueless" president was there. But this one that has been preparing to be president for 30yrs, full of clues and blessed with "intelligent" wing men that built Lagos cannot sustain one month of fuel availability. It must be depressing for his supporters. APC apologist will never agree to this I guess he is still BROWSING and sipping on his DON simon while searching for a counter defense Hmmm..... |

You can't trick me by promising me to take me out of this country while I will fall for it, I get so inquisitive about things and I believe you gotta earn something before you get rewarded for it, so if you're not giving me a reasonable reason why you're doing something for me, my inquisitive traits will start asking questions....

If an extra 8k monthly. on oil that's like 96k yearly. Compared to looking for a new tokunbo engine.
96k versus 800k.
The better choice is obvious to everyone. How about ringing the engine between 150-200k and close the chapter 🤷 |
