Omoapena: I don't have the copy and that's why I asked him so I can comfortably take the car outside Lagos since I have fully paid him and I can take it anywhere I wish...
And I will also need it to do change of ownership before I can return it, custom papers is necessary when changing car documents to another name ... Oga it's not Or you simply apply for a fresh plate |

Omoapena: All I know is that I have fully paid the total amount of the agreement, goto court and tell court reason why you want to retrieve the car after full payment and when the court review your reasons, let the court serve me, at least, court is the law and not a lawyer... Walahi the way you dey sharp mouth If Damian finds that custom paper and hand it over to you will you hand over the plates immediately? Your mind go dey no worry Just pray say he no find that original custom papers na there you hold am for balls |

CheerfulGiver: If I pay off a car in less than the agreed time, but want to hold on to the plates, status quo should be maintained. The documents should be with owner as well till the agreed time Exactly I concur Or since djdamian is still with the custom papers and change of ownership, he should hold on to it to the contract expires abinitio Then he collects his plates and handover the remaining documents and both parties is happy |

Glithronix: Rounded off the year with yesterday's hustle. 6 trips for the gross on display. The last trip was a to-&-fro trip. This last trip to Ikorodu was funny. I wanted to pick one ride that was like 20k+ from Oladimeji alo street, lekki ph1, going to Alimosho area, this ikorodu trip just popped up from no where and my click picked it (unintended). Chai, I wanted to cancel but I wanted a clean hustle with no cancellation for yesterday being Sunday, cos I had mad cancellations on Saturday of almost 5k on my refund wallet. I just accepted my fate. Got to folixx and the rider pleaded that I would take her back to fish farm, Ogudu. I happy die, billed her 13k for that and she agreed. Where exactly in ikorodu are you going, ma? I asked. Haruna bus stop, someone is waiting for me to deliver my wig and shoes, she responded. I happy. We move. I did small shopping in ogudu and got home few minutes past 9pm. Na yesterday I did just one offline trip this December. Had a lot of offlines mehn. Some riders Don collect my number both on island and mainland. I dey disappoint some of dem self. Una wan kill person ni? It is well. We continue next year, 2024. Merry Christmas to the Christian folks.
Much respect, bosses. Now nobody dey ask "HOW MUCH FUEL" Abi nobody car dey chop fuel again I no wan hear that question for January oh |

Omoapena: Saw 3 different accident last night, one corolla hit culvert on ikorodu road, probably he doze off, another one fell inside gutter along ogudu by that pedestrian bridge that fell off at alapere. Another on airport road flew to the other lane and hit oncoming traffic.
The way drivers are driving themselves cox of this surge, it's becoming serious... How are you sure that the people involved in those accidents were ehailing drivers? |

Felicity0001: Now, this lady client of mine called me that she wants to sell her Corolla. I immediately jumped into action, requested for pictures of the car, since it's a car I know very well and one I've used before so it was easy for me to market it. That was where the relationship btw tojah and I started and how my car dealership business started. Just within a few hours of inspection and negotiation I made about a 150k... Wow! This could be the side hustle I said to myself with a chuckle I could have drove the entire month morning till night daily to earn this big. Opportunity
I already have a registered company which I can leverage on... SamTee here... Out of discussion he sent me some links and platforms which helped me kicked start properly.
Gradually gradually, I started dropping the Uber driving job and loosing interest. At some point I was only doing offline but my car got really bad due to the accumulated stress from the Uber job so all my offline clients had already gone. So now it's strictly car dealership and real Estate for the now.
The Uber business was a stepping stone to where I am today and I'm still just a sojourner here on Earth till god calls.
So @dav001, you can keep hating for all I care I am a progress in process if god says I'll become a Burundi Change tomorrow I'm always ready the 100 pounds was just a gift from a client after an inspection of a car the other day I saw the opportunity to save the money against January/February for children school fees and rent so I seized it and I finally bought it @1000... Did a transfer to them from my savings and I've the money saved in pounds. Call it online rich man for all I care. The more you hate the higher I go.
I'm still a progressive work and god is plan. I'm not hating bruh! Never!! All I gat is live for you and everyone here Just first learn how to spell pounds well na I'm be my own 😉 |

Omoapena: This Lagos is wild, I was on my way from osapa to unilag when I entered a big pot hole and my tyre deflated instantly, I parked by the road side to switch my tyre with the spare only for these touts/miscreants to appear from nowhere, they were 7 in numbers, they offered to help me but I said I'm okay with changing the tyre myself, I thought they would leave after telling them that but to my surprise, they were waiting.
After removing the deflated tyre, I went inside my trunk to bring out the spare only for these miscreants to tell me that before I can fix the spare, I will have to pay them money, I asked money for what and they said money for car break down on their road, I then asked again, where is your road and they said where I parked that i will have to pay them before I can do anything in my car. They hijacked the spare tyre from me and started rolling it away, I asked them, so how much am I paying and they said 10k, i said what! 10k for what and they said again for car break down in their territory, I looked around hoping I could see any government car or something that will pass so I can flag it down while they come to my rescue but I didn't see none then it dawn on me that I'm on my own and the only way I could sort this out is to relate with them friendly so I switched to my street OT and let them know we are brothers and I'm also a hustler like them and they don't have to be so aggressive, they then asked me how much am I giving them, I brought out 800naira hoping they will take it but they refused and started rolling my spare tyre away again, then I called the one giving them order to a side and relate with him like a brother with some kind of street slangs, he then realized I have some street OT too, then I brought out the last 1k in my car to add to the 800naira, making it 1800, he then collected it with appreciation for having a friendly conversation with them.
That was how my street OT saved me from this scavengers, now, I'm beginning to wonder if someone without this OT or someone so fearful encounter them, how will the person handle the situation without getting robbed or being beaten....
Lagos is truly wild.. Hope you reported the trip to bolt and the nearest police station 😂 |

Conner44: I doubt the bolded if not you'd know that . . .
Coming from iyana-oba towards mile2 via the service lane the turns available are
1. At trade fair if you intend turning back towards the same place you're coming from (via the service lane only)
2. At alakija (under bridge) if you intend turning back towards where you're coming from (both via service or middle lanes) or branching off towards other locations via agor palace road.
3. At the same alakija (just after passing the bridge descent heading towards mile2) where a section of the road demarcation (culvert) had been taken off to enable motorists leave the service lane and join the middle lane going towards Orile direct.
4. At mile2 (turning back via service lane only)
While if you're coming from iyana-oba via the middle lane you can make turns at
1. Alakija by climbing the bridge to either turn back via the middle lane or going through festac to go back via the service lane or branch off towards other locations via ago palace road/navy Town Road.
2. At Alaba Suru if you intend turning back towards where you're coming from via the middle lane only.
These are the options currently available to motorists who intend taking detours along that route today plus don't forget that along the stretch of road towards mile2 via the service lane between satellite town and maza-maza you can always take a right turn off the highway into Old ojo Road to go back to any place or turn you missed (back to alakija under bridge)
Modified
At this spot I wrote of above you can also exit the middle lane from iyana-oba and join the service lane to take the next available right detour straight back to alakija under bridge in case you wish to cancel your one way ticket towards alaba suru/orile. Alright map of Alasia/mile 2, YOU WIN Also don't forget map doesn't work well on that road too Map will be shouting at 200metres take the exit when you get to the supposed exit you'd see a huge stone used to block the road Also coming from the middle lane towards iyana iba there's an exit after barracks to link the service lane map doesn't recognize it too Same thing with linking PPL from the middle lane So if one isn't familiar with the route and you dey depend on map OYO! Also the road on the service lane after trade fair enroute mile 2 is now worse Potholes everywhere |
