Any organisation works on collective interest , if interests align than advantage if not you are alone , noone is obligated to take care of anyone

Russian economy is afloat bec it offered incentives which is beneficial to those who can take them , money profit greatest influencer lol

Why do u think there is any resemblance of sanity & order in this world ? - bec of money and profits being made

Importantly and ironically the west is keeping Russian economy afloat to a certain degree , atleast significant amount of Russian oil ending up in here is ending up where do u think ? The buyers know but still they buying

Why will Russia want to reroute and close an alternative all together , they r not fools r they ? What if the other alternatives start taking too much advantage than where r they going to sell ? To aliens ?

In real world no one closes an option altogether, it's a leverage a guarantor against possible exploitation by say friends grin - amongst nations there r no friends only interests
Correct, heard recently that Britain has removed the sanctions on aircrafts part together with Europe apart from military installations, that will mean the world depends on Russia for raw materials for it. How does rubles payment benefits Russia economically especially with the MIR payments that even South Korea is starting to accept and other Asian countries?

Who eats popcorn with whiskey cheesy

BRICS ? Seriously ?

There are 3 countries B I S in BRICS who won't even bat a eyelid if Ch.... economy or Ch... itself get fuked

Russia will but for a price possibly a heavy price

NK & Iran ? lol
do u realise the both have ie SK & Israel lying in wait
If they want to get sandwiched , their business

Donated terrorists ?
In a World war what r terrorists going to achieve seriously ?

Please stay off whiskey bro grin
If they won't, then what is the use of BRICS; It's basically useless then..... Remember it's BRICS influence apart from the southies that's keeping Russian economy afloat. That's why Russia could immediately reroute their oil sales from Europe like they had preplanned it a long time ago.

There wasn't any need for that. Not like she's going there to declare independence anyways. A war is too costly to even be feasible and China knows that Biden is not an ambiguous politician. He tells you exactly what he's going to do. Afghanistan and Ukraine are examples of that. he is the first president that has said that he will send troops into Taiwan. Even without US intervention, China will find it extremely difficult assaulting Taiwan. Taiwan that's got underground aircraft bunkers.
Correct!!.....Taiwan isn't very big like that, just the size of Lagos or slightly bigger (I stand corrected). But invading Taiwan will be an amphibious assault, how strong is China navy to carry that kind of warfare?.... To be honest, only America now has that capability with Taiwan defences

Yes dealing with Israel means dealing with US which is a very known fact. Israeli defence minister trip to Morocco and Tunisia means nothing cause both nation won't aid Israel in a war against Iran.

Uncle can only destabilize a country or region it has huge influence and with this present situation US influence in the middleeast has dwelled. US can't destabilize Iran.
True sha, well...lets see then

Morocco betrayed the Arab league during the six day war and Tunisia won't dream of supporting Israel or even buying into Uncle Sam gimmick, they have a lot to lose if they do because Iran can destabilize Tunis with it influence and even Morocco is worried about Iran influence in Tunis.

PS: Pentagon have oppose Pelosi visit to Taiwan saying it not a good idea.
You're forgetting that if you're dealing with Israel, you're also dealing with US indirectly. What makes the Moroccan king then betray the Arab League?.... Isn't it the money, why can't the same happened now. Remember Israeli defense minister had a trip to both Tunisia and Morroco. In destabilising, who are the best destabilisers on Earth?.... If it's not thesame uncle Sam, who would you fear?.... Uncle Sam or Iran

Let's hope so cause the Chinese are very unpredictable. With the previous border skirmishes they've had with India, the harassment of Australian planes and the infiltration into the ADIZ of Taiwan's airspace, they've grown bolder and bolder. Also I remember president Xi Qingping saying he will not mind making use of military force to bring Taiwan and China as one. China sees Taiwan as it's territory so the presence of any foreigner especially American (whom they are not in good terms with) without approval from the Chinese government will be seen as aggressive. They are even contemplating to shoot down Mrs Pelosi's plane
Bro grab your pop-corn; Serbia-kosovo again, russia-ukraine, China-taiwan..... This is starting to look pre-planned, but pelosi won't enter Taiwan; if she dares then it's Chinese SMO, atleast they have been training in Ukraine

It says something very strongly about the inherent capacity of the army to do the job.

IMO they have a operational culture that's essentially based on old ethos, it's as if they are using DOS when we are using Windows 11.

Three key missing components in thier battlefield management; Zero spatial awareness , poor communication infrastructure and no contingency responsive plan.

The settings is quasi Urban, you are going into volatile territory ( no situational awareness) really you should have eyes and ears on the ground, a few basic drones, intelligence zero.

Getting ambushed is not the problem it is your contingency plan to deal with it.

We have had French soldiers for a decade in the Sahara. What have been their casualties and why are the deranged jihadists not keen to engage them ambush or otherwise.

Because the day they do none of them will return home. They will not just REPEL , but seek out , overtake and annihilate.

I admit to being Western biased, but I have never seen European and or American combatants brutalising sometimes killing innocent civilian for their daily entertainment . And when carrying out operations carry out a scorched earth policy on civilian settlements.

I have been in bases across Europe and the UK etc but never seen that happen. What's wrong with our combatants.❓

That behaviour is very far from professional and if it is WHY, therefore do you in expect the army to have the efficacy of a modern disciplined professional fighting force.

Therein lies the problem.

Consider this Hundred plus passengers kidnapped in broad daylight on the Kaduna - Abuja Train and then walked to captivity ,they are still probably within a 200km radius of Kaduna. But we still don't know where they are to date

How long did it take the USA to find there singular citizen Philip Walton kidnapped by bandits and brought into Zamfara. It was was probably within 72 hours and the kidnappers wasted.

So we have a problem and it starts from the top where ineptitude and incompetence are the defining words exemplified in PMB
When you deal with terrorist treat them like one; no sentiments attached because they are just like cancer, it keeps growing until it gets out of hands.

I'm not talking about funds Bro, I'm referring to most of the components they need.
This is when watch then, if they can overcome the situation; west grapple on them will significantly lessen. Even before then their components for military installation according to my research were sometimes bugged in a way due to political pressures on the private companies.

Yep, But the facts is now that, for Russia to develope or get their own space station with the current sanctions is Very difficult.
Do you have their financial statements? Do you know their reserves? Remember this is not Nigeria wink
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia To Withdraw From International Space Station After 2024 by davefurn: 10:52am On Jul 27, 2022
BritishNaija:
Yes, Lets assume they are planning to build their own international space station and They have the funds to, Hope you know those sanctions will render them not able to, because it will deny the access to some Very important components they will use for building it. Because me and you know that a lot of components that will be used are made outside Russia.
We watch, and who provides the raw materials; Russia..... West are as dependent on Russia, as Russia are dependent on them. Russia maybe forced to start some RD too, they did it before when their economy was a closed one. All are just assumptions, maybe it will
very drastic for them but time will tell
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia To Withdraw From International Space Station After 2024 by davefurn: 9:33am On Jul 27, 2022

I like your kind of explanation and it goes to show at least you have ideas of What is going on, and not some clowns barking on my mention without able to contribute.

I Love arguments that is based on facts. I have lived in Russia Before and Ukraine, To pursue development in certain fields, you need funds, and funds are one of problems of Russia. Unlike US and China for now.

Most of the people arguing blindly here does not even know that Private indigenous companies in Russia seek and acquire loans from the west to execute projects.

It's one thing to have An idea, it's another thing to secure the funds to develop and build it.
Yh, a valid argument; but Russia always have funds for military, why did you think that they made the former defense minister the one in charge??...... And all of a sudden he came and told putin that they are leaving the ISS, he didn't even seek his opinion; just wanted to him to know. That's to say that there's a lot going under the scenes and Russia has seen the importance of the space industry. For funding in Russia, Russian main problem is their economy since soviet times. Analysis dictates that war profits them very well, now Russia needs money and stable economy; Putin knew the end-game will results in a huge amount of sanctions that's why he pegged his currency to gold, no one knows putin endgame for now. We keep watching, to see it's results; but what is clear is that Putin is making a statement to the West, he is old (70 something) and this is his last chance.

Please can you Try to explain What you are trying to say, As i really do not understand.
Normally NASA and Russia cosmonauts (Rosmonauts), cooperates to ship american astronauts to the space station. But with the recent rise of Space X, it's becoming less profitable that's why Russia wants to leave the ISS and build theirs. Now on capacity to build theirs, Russia has the absolute capacity and knowledge which you can see from their history and 90's struggle for supremacy between united States and Soviets. More than 40% of the achievement on space were achieved by Russians and US taking the later part; Summary is that Russia has the knowledge and capacity to the extent that they even gave the Chinese some knowledge on it inwhich you can see the results. Now is the finances to fund it, I believe yes especially with the new man in charge and surely they will militarise it. We are about to see a new age of competition in the space industry like in the 90's and it will be very great.
Foreign AffairsRe: Russia To Withdraw From International Space Station After 2024 by davefurn: 6:26am On Jul 27, 2022
BritishNaija:
Not As easy As you think.
Lol read your history bro, Russia is a space superpower; in the soviets time, us couldn't even compare that's why they essentially needed russia cooperation in the international space station. Simple history study of russia cosmonauts achievement will have stopped all this nonsense. And the major reason why they are even leaving is because there's nothing in it to profit them again, after spacex.... Us doesn't really need to depend on russia to transport her cosmonauts to space. I love this development very well, atleast the competition on space can be back like in 90's. Never mention China in space when calling Russia, Russia and US are centuries ahead.
