In the here and now, Osimhen can't start for any team playing in league one. His weekly wage is not even up to 23k per week which is the the lowest when you consider the covariance, the decile and lower percentile of league one wage structure. Anyone who think otherwise is just being emotively bias and prejudicially bla bla Blu Blu.

grin grin grin
Osimhen needs to even go outside and touch grass. Who does he think he is? Can he bench many players in Championship side that's better than the Scottish League and the Eredivisie? You guys should be Constructive and leave Emotive bias. I can bet you that he can't score 15 in the lower division. Stop hyping who never do anything in football....

5 Nominations

We go home with 4 wins

That's a super duper Caf Award for Nigeria

Oshoala barely had a minute for her off hand speech but she gave the most impactful speech of the night. Nobody go come epp us. Na we we.

Kgatlana wasn't happy though. But seeing the faces of Banda, Tigernut and Ellis light up as she spoke is enough for me.👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

Let's see. He needs to start the strides from AFCON. He will be hard to ignore like his namesake that won tonight.

That's true. I guess the Balon d'Or ranking too would be too foolish to ignore. Glad he finally won. He was just born the year the last Nigeria won it if I'm not mistaken.

All eyes on Boniface
Then he needs to do all to have a superb individual performance at this afcon as well. Yeah, in the midst of all the star forwards, but he may need to outshine then in the GWG in 2024. Afterall, club own is super secured to me.

Hope this non-participating in international competition for country be the chink in Osimhen quest like this?

I don't want to be taken by surprise abeg. If that's the case then i think we already know who takes major blame then. For me Bounou, not hakimi should be in top 3.

Well said but I don’t see Sundowns leading with 5 points difference from second place team in NPFL and still having 4 outstanding matches.

The quality of football playing by less glamorous teams in NPFL is better than those less teams in SA league.

I gave it to SA league management for bringing real organization to the league.Yes the TV right alone makes the league attractive but the quality of football playing on the field,NPFL is better.
Provided MS aren't made to experience the basic bottlenecks an average npfl team faces year in year out(traveling mode, training and physio, contract issues, media and marketing, sales of jerseys-all that MS are excellent at but is alien to the NPFL terrain mostly) MS will ball in NPFL. Some NPFL teams will give their league some scare though.

That way it will show to everyone who is the better stopper.

Zinny is good but not the calibre we need to imvert.
Infact they should be starting him in WB so he can do his beloveth inverted duties. But LB? I've had enough!! He and White annoying me with their recovery/trackback. Whatever analysis anyone wants to use, coaches like Ebening see that as weakness to exploit. Makes me recall the shege Wan bissaka faced weeks ago. They overloaded his wing till gameplan scatter. And he's a natural RB o. Yet....

Asides Yasu, I'm not impressed with the defensive workrate of our Fbs this season. It seems the rest are just there, lazy, good for attack only, while their actual primary duty, they are bang average at it.

Sincerely. We should own our own bs and clear it instead of waiting for external help. We need to work harder to ensure this doesn't repeat. It's annoying. All their game plans worked. None of ours worked. Just imagine. We also need to stop this leaving it late to decide 3points in the bag. Let's sweat it out early and do all that tension early abeg.

And finally, it is time to get an LB in January. A Natural LB. Abeg make Yasu dey that rb abeg.

Tactically, Arteta needs to work and stop this plan of CBs dragged to fb regions while those FBs are strolling back like lazy kings.

Dibu wasting time ain't new to me. I've seen this script before. Something tells me he is going to make a mistake that would lead to goal.
That's where someone different from Nelli and Jesus runs thru. It's up to kai and Odegaard.

Ya not worried about the fact that we go taya out fes? Na villa well get 20games scoring 1st, winning 18 of those, wey go taya? Emery should be outsmarted, not falling into his trap. If Nelli and Saka do nothing different and mcginn problem is not solved, 2nd loss loading.

Better forget Martinez theatrics. He did it when Playing for us that year, remember?

What we should be doing is something out of the book. I've always said that when we are faced with top tactical managers, doing something out of the box is what will get us through. See that rubbish Odegaard chance. You dey look for goal and ya hitting the ball like say na UCL group stage match wey get 2nd leg. Smh. Guy budey this ball into top corner and stop the flair for camera my friend.

Kai and Rice were in two different situations where they could shoot but they both passed to Saka that had 3 shirts on him. Are they alright upstairs??

Emery tactics is simple but they are not reading it well. These defenders use the lines on the grass to determine offside trap and we still dey dull? This CB being dragged out nonsense is exactly what Unai wanted. It is playing right into his trap. He needs it. And it's working just fine. Arteta better change the tactics 2nd half. These guys should stop looking for flair goals with a keeper the least of them have trained over 2000hrs with and knows their moves well.

Nelli chip keeper and he dey run like those agric chicken wey fit tumble over. Smh. Annoying from him, Zinny, Kai. Not impressed. Besides, mcGinn is in that pocket unmarked and it is worrisome really.

Yea..but she interfered with the play just before the ball crossed the line. Her mere run towards the ball was why the goal was ruled offside.
Yeah that run towards it. It crossed before she kicked sha. Na ojoro dey still do us. But that interfering.... looks tiny but it ruined chances of winning. If we got that goal we for don win cos our defense was okay that game.

All I remember about Loveth is her decision to head Oshoala's goal bound shot (which was already going over the line for a goal) in the final of U20WWC, when she knew very well that she was offside. That pretty much cost us the match (which Germany won, even though they were outplayed by Nigeria).
I think her career took a nose dive after that.
Based on replay the ball actually crossed the line already o. But that act was annoying anyways.

Tosin Demehin, Deborah Abiodun, Gift Monday and Rofiat Imuran were part of the Rivers Angels squad that got thrashed by asfar. It doesn't always have to be about winning local trophies, a good player is a good player.
They should make it a target at least. It boosts reputation for club and player. Abi is it just participation while those ones continue to rotate who will clinch the wcl? Wafcon is now a norm for falcons. To replicate that with the wcl is just my angle. Before Asfar and Sundown become the Madrid and Milan of the competition. Of course, we will always see talents. But trophies attests to the rep of a player. Anyways, till the house is in order.

@Basco. You put some nigerian women league teams videos on Youtube. I watched it and was impressed by the quality of play by the girls. Teams such as Rivers Angels & Edo Queens with relatively good players but these girls were not given invites to play in the National Team. Why do we like relying on foreign born/based players so much.
Let them get back to continental glory first. The CafWCL is an exciting competition. Another route to shine. Become consistent like mamelodi and their asfar and they can be anything they want.

Nominees

Reynald Pedros 🇲🇦
Desiree Ellis 🇿🇦
Jerry Tshabalala 🇿🇦

what’s your take on this nomination ?
My take is let's just take this women's club continental seriously. We seem to just be wavering right now. We should be in any top 3 and force to reckon with each season.

His omission is funny anyway
