See that miss by Saka and Nelli
Trossard will offer us something in this kinda game, I hope Teta brings him in for Harvertz
The thing I'm afraid of is that Teta might get carried away by Kai working and refuse to find Xhaka replacement. I commend Kai though but i hate the chances we wasted plus no shot from these guys. Haba. We can't win if firing shots is not forthcoming. I'm tired. But once again, this game was Klopp's to Win. The 5v1 situation that TAA didn't bury is proof. We are lucky.

As for White, whoever still rates this guy dey gba. It is the big games, the grand stages of crucial minutes that we need you revved up. That is how it is done. He is por at his primary duty. And this is Diaz, sometimes Gomez. Smh.

Resounding it once more.

Petty prank from Liverpool to make the centre circle slippery. No wonder VVD and Konate avoided it well

Konate has drifted wide to be marking nelli and is successful so far. Kai that is supposed to take advantage of the konate space is busy doing something else. It is better Trossard comes in. His footwork and taps near box 18 is needed abeg. Kai has nothing to offer aside fouls in 2nd half. We don't need a red card now. Saka sef

Na God go punish white for me ! angry
This is his not his game for me. I mean he can't give top performance in such affair where he does more defending than attacking. He lacks pace to make his Wing a threat to help saka too. With Odegaard dropping deep again, he is saddled with trying to play the TAA long balls role, which he is totally poor at. I wish Yasu was fit.

As for Nelli and Kai, no link and it's annoying

Christy Ucheibe vs Frankfurt

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU3Jt_FaP3I
It might be her highlight and part of the total game but what's this total lack of awareness from her teammates defending? Including their Gk doing onanana esque divings? See how that one is strolling instead of defending. Only for Christy to end that attack. I've counted 8 so far. I'm not even focusing on Christy.😂😂😂

That's a terrible backline without Christy Ucheibe in it. Kante baby. Everywhere at the right time!!

Imagine her in a Roberto Carlos role.

Nigerian clubs are so weak. Especially when playing away. So bad
It might also be psychological. The NPFL has this mentality of home dominance and away is seen as "respect yourself" for almost 3decades now. Rivers United are embarrassing to watch. Makes one wonder how they got this far. And these are some of the lots these home based journos are arguing for like say they even get consistency up their sleeves. Smh.

It might even be spiritual sef😂😂

That mentality needs to be buried, starting from the league.

Do you want points or GD? Are you planning for GD to decide title?

Some teams have better GD than us but are lower on the table.
Lol

Our top rivals are using it to win. Why can't we also do it like them or better? Why? Before GW 18, they had a better GD already. That translates to them maintaining the tempo. Why can't we have it all since that's Champion's mentality? Let's forget the low teams. Na dem sabi. Yes, we score pass Invincibles but the stakes to wrest power from the Defending champs lies in having a near equal attack-scoring goals. Isnt that part of why Good Ebening is now top 4? Or one doesn't translate to the other?

My point is still simple sha.

At the bolded, the Auba example will give you an insight.

It is not the pattern that will be solely affected, it will affect the team's mentality too.

But then there is nothing bad in having a 30-goal CF and still spreading the goals across the team. The problem is such strikers are quite rare. All we have now are target men.
Although, Kane is good at this... And maybe Boniface.
That's my point altogether. The one MA needs dey. And the team is set up to play for each other but the 9 will sharpen that goal getting tip upfront. Making the team more dangerous than it currently it. That's the point of all this. I don't have doubt about this one bit.

Imagine a 24+17+15+20 GA for our forwards ONLY!
Well.... i no fit explain am pass again.

If Arteta wants to play a striker, Nketiah would be starting ahead of Jesus. He has played fewer minutes but has scored far more goals.

I remember I had this argument last season with Jodera. But he has come to see what I was saying.
The think is even as a natural, Nketiah still never step up. Esp away from home. One can't have such a long drought of goals in several dozens of away fixtures and inspire hope in said manager. Luckily he's top scorer this season and even Nelli still dey boot.

As for Workrate overall, Jesus still trumps him. So it's not about him wanting to play a striker and just field Nketiah. It is about getting it just the way worldclass 9 do it. Benzema? Kane? Lewa?

I just know Arteta knows he needs one.

But we move, new season, still competing for league. I hope the boys gets it right this time cool
That pass would have been a boost for Nelli and Saka.... breaking the Anfield embargo for all of epl. The little things do matter mehn. Split seconds and vision with a pass. If na Fabio, we for be champs by now, gunning for a 2nd. See the TAA trying hard to be Usain Bolt to no avail. 😂😂😂😂

Just like Mostob pointed out, we are better off scoring loads of goals with different players on the score sheet than having a top 9 whom we all channel most of our goal scoring chances through. I prefer we scoring 100 goals through 10 different players than having one player score 50 goals and we didn't score more than 65 as a team.

I didn't say a top 9 will distort our playing style but some of the names being thrown around as our potential target by the media do not fit into Arteta's style of play from what I have seen.

I hope if Arteta eventually says he wants to get another striker with similar playing style to Jesus we won't come back to ask him to sign another top 9 in a year's time simply because the new striker is not banging in goals just like Jesus.
We are not better off that way

We are better of having a natural 9 and several other goalscorers. That is the AiM!!! It should be the aim

NOT

a 9 that will shoulder responsibility alone

Or

Just several goalscorers without a 9

Shebi we want to be the best?

Madrid is template
So also Bayern
Add City if you like

And being consistent at it that if the 9 is out, the others carry the burden. If others are out, the 9 steps up too. That's how the big boys roll.

That is all I've been saying and still repeating. To imagine this is impossible when we have over 6 teams in Europe doing exactly so is why I'm confused at why this is difficult to see.

If there's only one person in this room satisfied that all our goals are shared, then I'm certainly that one person. I no dey hide my mouth for this one.

We all know Auba have been giving us good goals frequency but how was the team then? I'm not bad mouthing Auba but the team effort first over any highest goalscorer biko. I hate one man team to be honest.

As as for the bolded, you talk as if the EPL is decided mostly by Gd and that's where you're getting it wrong. It decided by Points! points!! points!!!. The only time it was decided by goal difference was in 2011/2012.(over a decade). Before that, I doubt it was decided again any other season. So why should we be worrying about goal difference when we should actually be worried about points?
You're talking about 88goals scored, when in actual fact you should be talking about the 85points and how we ought to better it. Wrong priority if you ask me. Even Salah that you're always using as example, the season Liverpool won league was one of his poorest goal returns of goals (alongside their front three) but the season he scored 32 goals, they finished 4th.

Like I and Mos.tob are always saying, the team as a whole is missing chances. Quality Chances!!!. Let them start converting the chances and let's get all maximum the points needed. As long as we win the league, I don't care. If dem like let dem score less than 88goals, na dem sabi!!.
My bottomline is what I'll still stand by. Don't miss my point with the auba input o abeg. Getting better is the goal. I'm sure we all agree on that. Title winners and missing chances are like 5&6. Are we going to depend on that or continue making more that will make one win title that will eclipse the chances not converted?
