the thing is the church cant understand both if no interpreter is there. Fact. That is what most of us have controversy with. And not with the kinds.

You in an indigenous church with igbo as the lingua. Someone starts to speak tongues in chinese... No one can understand, except by a very very high probability, there is someone who happens to be in the congregation that knows chinese. Very rare!!

That chapter is about love.

It is like saying "if you like speak the language of men or angels, without love, you are wasting your time".
lol. I knew this would come up.

That verse is about expressing the spiritual gifts without love.

Not just about love.

Paul.had issues with the Corinthian Christians cos they seem very expressive with gifts but lacked love.

I.e if you speak the two kinds of tongues but lack love, then you are wasted.

You people are comedians grin

So, you just think it is enough to say there are two kinds of speaking in tongues and everyone should just swallow it like that.

Abeg, provide evidences. Jesus did not just tell the Devil that he was wrong. Jesus used Bible verses to counter the Devil.

Show me Bible verses, don't just tell me that I am wrong.
1st Corinthians 13v1.

Youre the one being comical.

Why cos instead of disproving with scriptures that it is wrong you are just laughing and jesting upandan. Chai. You try o. Gaaan.

wow

so churches actually do send peeps to some school of speaking in tongues? grin How worse can this get. Doctrines of demons that is.

Pls if your church is into that, it is very very very unbiblical. Come out from aming them o. That is a serious fallacy that is not from God. grin

Oluwa sanu wa.

So you enter a school, pay a fee and then you get a coach to teach you how to speak in tongues?

Or you are told to just blurt out whatever your mind thinks at that moment? Shuu. My ribs wan crack.

Chai.

See lemme just say this.... We have many intellectuals in the church than before, but they are more stupider(permit me) more foolish than Christians of the 70s and the 80s that were bent on studying and searching the scripture.

Shamefully, we have Followers of Mem of God than what the Bible says. Yawnnnnnnnnns.

This Thread is neither created for European Footballers or African Footballers....... It's solely for the Nigerian Footballers. What's Mickael2 business with Torreira's poor performance?! How does Amartey's Performance gonna affect the Super Eagles?!

We should endeavor to fairly pay Attention to posts instead of being emotional because certain Players are mentioned. He reported the Goal objectively but what did he get in return?! Backlashes from every Corner.

When are we gonna stop this Ish and see ourselves as true Fans of the Teams?! Do you think Anyone coming to read and contribute here is doing it to hate on the Boys?!

We need to grow up instead of frustrating People outta the Thread.
Hate?

grin

When Pep was discussed, you didnt surface to talk that it was a super eagles thread.

When its all ucl stuff, obbiously you didnt mention too.

Dont be funny pls.

i dont champion hate and i've never towed that line if you know me well. And yes i can mention Torreira's performance cos they are in the same team and if you wana use a yardstick for Iwobi, use it for his teammates too. Simple! Hell yeah, its even the same way we talk when Sam Chukwueze's Villareal comes up as regards performances. undecided

That grow up line suck man. undecided

Still tryna really pick something from all these cos its unnecessary.

Bros if u were on Nairaland sports section and kickoff between 2007 and 2013 u Will not be seeing it this way. Those guys really hurt us during their hay days of 2009 WYC and 2010 WC and even few years after that. There were times i would stay away from Nairaland for up to 1 week because of those people.

If you know how the Ghanaians celebrated Nigeria's exit from the 2010 WC plus all those talk of the last we won a WC game was in France '98 bla-bla-bla. We had to hit them with AFCON trophy winless streak since 1982 grin

Those guys are crazy men....... They would insult our Footballers plus our government, economy even our movie industry and our Ladies grin

Some of them are still on Nairaland and would probably come here to spy on us tonight grin
Assuming the reverse was the case that they are through and we are out. They would have set this thread ablaze with their insults. Trust me on this. grin
Me i go join nigerians laugh them o. That year on the old thread or so, they were all over nairaland in droves, mocking and jesting and mocking and insulting. They werent thinking of brothers then o. grin

Every morning be sure to be entertained by an e-war once you login.

Twas painful. very painful. One even compared Mikel to Ayew and Ayew is better. It was that bad. Another cried out loud that Asamoah has set a standard that no Nigerian footballer can match in years to come. That time was bad. grin

lol, i can see someone is bent on underplaying the importance of Iwobi as he scored today.

Its antagonistic and even if you wana call it the truth, you have a great record for playing antagonist. If he no score, na average, he score now, na deflection.

Im satisfied with his attack rile today until he got tired and had to be replace. You wont see the bad game Torreira had today to talk about o.

The Flying Eagles on Friday confirmed their qualification to the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland with a 1-0 win over hosts Niger which ensured they topped Group A of the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations with seven points.

Izuchukwu Okosi presents four takeaways from the crucial game.

1. Niger Exploited Nigeria's Right Side of Defense
Right back Samuel Zamura had a shocking game and was the target of the Niger forwards as they made inroads from his position.
The Plateau United right back got the first booking of the match and even the match commentator called his performance a "nightmare."

2. Niger Players Masters of the Dark Arts?
With the score of the South Africa versus Burundi game reaching the Nigeriens, they became desperate and went to the ground too easily all in a bid to be awarded either penalties or free-kicks.

Their players thankfully were unable to conjure the result they needed but that's also down to a good officiating - the referee did not crack under pressure from players or the host fans in the stands.

3. Flying Eagles Must Have Better Communication
At some stages of the match, the Nigerian defence were in sixes and sevens especially in the second half as Niger threatened to score.
The duo of Valentine Ozornwafor and Igoh Ogbu have the ingredients to be fantastic central defenders but they were unable to withstand the hosts at times. Captain and left back Ikouwem Utim sometimes covered up for his teammates who left spaces behind.

4. The Eagles Missed Michael Effiom Before His Introduction
Coach Paul Aigbogun introduced forward Michael Effiom in the second half as the Flying Eagles searched for goals.

The nimble footed number 19 created all sorts of problems for Burundi and South Africa and it was a bit of surprise that he had to come off the bench though he had little time to cause havoc.

As for our Flyin Eagles Mendem

The team have an exploratory attack, but knowing we are going to the world stage, we need to be more clinical on goal.

i watched their clips and all of the times SA attacked, there was a solo run and nobody could dispossess this solo runner. They came for a draw and we need to be able to crack down such teams instead of waiting for chances only. Football has evolved beyong chance taking, however major. Those midfielders are good for attack but nowhere to be found to shield the def. i believe such areas would be worked on.

Senegal cannot do what they did to Ghana to the Flying Eagles. Impossicant is the word!!! Such a wack Ghana team!! There are not ready atalll. But they were totally ready with the hair fashion undecided

Niger should be a good test for these guys.
