AIG07: The bolded is my major concern...
Having a slow Ogu in the Middle paired by a tactically indiscipline player in Agu is nothing but a recipe for.......
How I wish Shehu is around. He would have been a better option in front of the back four.
On paper, we don't stand a chance... cc Bascovanveli That's my answer... |

TheSuperNerd: I modified the comment you earlier quoted to add a few more points.
Meanwhile...
The Southies are hard runners and at that altitude (over 1500 m above sea level) at 3pm local time in Johannesburg, they will wanna run us into the ground so that they hit us even harder in the second half. We need to play smart and also be on the offensive for a good part of the game and not on the defensive. We need to control the game. We also have to conserve our energies so that we are not taken apart limb from limb in the second 45. I hope the altitude does not have such prominent negative influence on our plays. Or we can pretend to be ready for them running at us and using the counter only game. They don't do well when not with the ball. Let our forwards try to get a PK within the 1st 25mins. This would ruin any plan they have. That altitude may affect our middle especially Iwobi, but not aboki-made Musa!! |

TheSuperNerd: I used Etebo-Ogu not Agu-Ogu....
And of cos Iwobi will be our creative hub tomorrow... But having an extra creative force on the wings who also constantly runs at the SA defence and cutting in unpredictably will give those southies lots to worry about... This will help relive some pressure on our central midfield duo of Etebo and Ogu. We need to go at those guys... because if they come at us constantly, we will crumble. Better still then. But I dunno the SA guys to be pressure cookers. lol. But their speed.... Iwobi is still the key though to the wing idea. Then his switching.... Goodluck to Success starting. |

TheSuperNerd: Cameroun U-17 ladies denied us via away goals rule. We even scored a last minute winner in Yaounde but it was ruled out, thus we missed out on this U-17 WWC for the first time since it began in 2008. so we can't see the new Rasheedat Ajibade, the Ordega and Co? Mehn. sad. |

@Thesupernerd, we can't really apply the French formation. That midfield is the issue. Ogu-Agu is a time bomb. We should all be prepared for not seeing Ndidi tomorrow cos it will look like Asif Nigeria still never learn if we aren't careful. That's my only concern.
Giving Sam the 10 jersey might be a tactical idea to confuse the bafana. Iwobi will play that role still. |

Modified. Dem for host this award for South Africa. Lol
Modified 2 Nothing we go do when we no go embarrass ourselves Me sef dey wonder. Abeg what did Omeruo do that made him to be the 2nd nominated for 2018 footballer of the year abeg? Why not make a male and female category instead of making it a general category knowing the obvious bias that would follow up? The timing sef again. NFF, are saying VicMo's reason for retirement us cos he wanted to live up to SarriBall's requirements. Sounds stale to accept as reason. Let them keep hiding the real reason. |

TheSuperNerd: For tomorrow's game to be won, we have to beat this man. "Itumeleng Khune." He is without any iota of doubt one of the safest pair of hands on the continent today and he is also "THE ONLY GOALIE YET TO CONCEDE SO FAR IN THE AFCON QUALIFIERS GROUP STAGE ROUNDS ACROSS THE CONTINENT".
I trust our attack to spoil his clean sheet record and make SA eat the dust but he is a formidable opponent. Hard to beat but surely can he beaten.
Pointer: Good thing is Akpeyi kept a clean sheet against Khune and his Kaizer teammates in the Kaizer Chiefs vs Chippa Utd tie recently... He didn't shake that day, let us hope he doesn't shake tomorrow. I hand him over to Ahmed Musa to be dealt with!!! |

Icon4s: These are countries that recognize that fact that the future of their senior national teams lies in the strength and quality of their U20/21 teams. E just taya me o. At least let Egypt, Senegal, Nigeria, CIV, SA, Kenya just wake up and start the Repping. If the League format isn't limelight enough, this should be. ChrisKels: I dont know if it is only me oo, though, it is still kinda early, buh me think Vinicius is all hype and nothing more. The few matches I have seen him play for Real Madrid, he didnt strike me as a top talent neither did he display any good football IQ. He is just there, nothing special. Even Soler and Mikel are still performing than Vini. But I believe this Sam would be, provided no bias. |

Curtisaxel7: My people perish for lack of knowledge.
"Judas" is actually the same name as "Judah". They both mean " Praise ". So if you can name your son " Praise", you can as well name him "Judas".
That the betrayer of Jesus happened to be named " Judas" doesn't make the name bad. There have been other people named Judas who achieved great sucess and lived lives of righteousness. An example is the Jewish hero Judas Maccabeus who led the revolt against the pagan Greek Emperor Antiochus. (forgive the history lesson).
I've seen people named "Blessing" die in poverty, people named "Wisdom" do very stupid things....the list is endless. At the end of the day what matters is our hardwork, talent and maybe a bit of luck. Our names are just names. Nothing more. Like Shakespeare said "a rose, called by any other name, will still smell as sweet". To a large extent still, names do Influence the bearers. You're right about the change in desti y though. |

alexistaiwo: I created a thread here back in 2015 about one of my ex who visited me when the February 2015 general elections were postponed three weeks.
She was acting shady and Hot, she was just flashing green lights up and down like traffic lights.. My BS alarm was off, this is someone who hardly make the first move when we were still together. I kuku stood my ground, whenever she comes close, I adjust or move away from the spot.
That was how we did the cat and dog chase till she left.
October 2015, she delivered a baby girl.
Can you imagine that till date, she is still trying to "enter me". Even this past sunday, she called that she wants to come visiting. I just used the premier league busy schedule on the day as an excuse that all my friends were at my crib watching football. This is someone's wife and mother ooo. 2019 might just be the year 9/10 guys would be suspicious if girls are just eager and desperate to get bedded without any follow up signs.... Always looking for who to call the dad. |
