In a bid to look "punditive" some of us here are dropping foolish comments about some of our best legs in quite a decade. calling them average cos of naija mentality. even their ratings on pes, fifa, we, etc shows us how wrong we are. Is "average" having anoda meaning! smh. wake up from these malicious launches and appreciate who deserve to be; many of them do. |

komekn: Is Lukaku English yet he is accorded unquestionable respect and accolades as possibly the best striker in the premiership.
Was Drogba English but he is regarded as a legend in the EPL and in Chelsea.
Thierry Henry is not English he even has a statue in his honor at Highbury.
Is Ngolo Kante English voted best player in the EPL by his fellow professionals.
Was JJay Oyibo but they never stop talking about him in the EPL. Was Kanu, Yakubu English or shall we talk of Gabriel, Sana, or Mane & Salah at Liverpool came from the Moon.
Mahrez that Leicester refused to sell is he not Algerian voted best African player in the EPL.
You may need like to be woken up very abruptly from your delusion, KC has not performed in the EPL that's why he is not even in the top 20. Since he left Manchester city his rating has dived. He needs to start performing at Leicester the good thing he is still performing for the SE but in the SE it's a different matter.
As it stands Tammy and Solanke are ahead of him and if they were in the SE there is no guarantee he would have displaced them. What concerns me with the players you're mentioning upandan? I'm saying the truth and you're labelling me delusional? If you don't understand what I'm Tryna pass across, don't go ballistics. simple. |

forgiveness: Which fallacy? You had better wake up to the reality that these boys are playing in one of the top 3 best leagues in the world and even on the book of one of the the best clubs in the world.
And that is where the eyes of the whole wide world preys. lol. Only Tammy I can say looks good. Solanke plays well but I don't see him benching Nada in the English team. That league has a hell of a hype o. If Nacho were English, we for dey hear Neymar comparisms. |

MetalJigsaw: I hope we get more grade A friendlies. I'm no too rattled about teams in pot B and C beasuse so many of those teams a overrated. Teams like Iran, Iceland, Slovakia, Romania, Switzerland, Ukraine, Hungary, Bulgaria, Peru, Australia and several others. Those teams rely on tactical play and teamwork because they don't posses much talented players. Most of their players are avarege and we have talented players more than they do. So if Rohr can secure at aboutc 3 effective tactics and and formations and diccipline his players, we'll brush them aside. I once suggested 3 European teams and 2 South American teams prior to the start. I believe we're on track |

Goke7: Honestly a iheancho/iwobi combination is a delight to watch any day, just shows how deep our squad is even though at times we feel or look short of talents going forward. if vicmo will not reduce his selfish play, he can be our super sub but you know Nigerians go shout. Iheanacho may be the one to be sacrificed for vicmo and be the super sub instead. There is also an Ighalo and simon lurking around too, mhen it's interesting Naturally, anything to make Nacho and Iwobi play along sides each other will ginger the team play. But Simon is truly the deal. Not to talk of Onyekuru. South American teams use their wing backs to join attack. If we meet them in group stage, counter sure pass. |

MetalJigsaw: You're right!. Sometimes Vic Mo is better off starting from the bench in some tactical formations yeah. As for Pot Analysis, I expect to get Croatia and maybe Portugal then Others.. . But if we get Germany. .....all the same, let's start January playing a friendly with a top European team. |

Goke7: I think rohr will have to adress the vicmo selfish play though lots of folks still argue whether vicmo is selfish or not. But if you hear the English commentary of the highlights, you will hear the commentators commending the one touch play of the Eagles leading to the goals. Just hope vicmo saw the game If Rohr uses the super sub tactic by making VicMo come from the bench, I imagine the way the second half would be sweet. But some will still clamor he should be a starter. |

[quote author=Mujtahida post=62396861]There's telepathy between the two of them but until there's telepathy throughout the whole team from defence, to the midfield to the attack, we don't have a team yet.
I judge a team as having reached a high degree of telepathy when one begins to see back heels, long range passes and fluid mass movement so much so that you are hard put to determine the most important part. And I'll like this to happen shapali in our Middle. |

Joebie: Believe me I am impressed as you are as regards Idowu. However, we've had men who we've seen again and again in this team. We've been able to assess their strengths and weaknesses just because we have seen them overtime. The more you know your players the better. We know a good player when we see them, granted. That does not mean we don't need to see them again and again. Idowu has made a strong case. I've already said we want to play another friendly, and let's start that one just the way we ended this one. We want to play teams that will expose us. The earlier we know our deficiencies the better. Rohr knows that too well. You guys should keep naming players that should go to Russia because of one match performance. We've seen Ogu again. So if we start to make that opinion about him, that's more logical. For now, except we play dumb in our next matches, I want to believe we have a booster and "the attitude" to face highly tactical teams. Deficiencies like Mikel's on-field replacement and a trusted, tested 9, remains paramount for now. I discovered that Aina always was left to trail the left flanks Vs Algeria cos Iwobi drifted to the middle which was always helping the team, but killing Aina's influence on going forward. If only he could dribble. Overall, the team needs to fill up mistakes seen as you earlier said. |

Mujtahida: He plays posh football. Has very good sense of rhythm. Knows how to conserve his energy (though we still need to see him play a full match and also against African sides) i doubt we'll play any African team again though. Ebuehi was never beaten yesterday by any attacker....composure. I think we 100% know the defenders going to Russia already. |

Goke7: wow, na the kind players wey want for naija be that, no be the ones we go dey kneel down beg Those ones go humble now. VicMo must stop his selfish play if he wants us to score freely. I like the false 9 tactics. |

Mujtahida: Coupled with some extra footballing reasons. He would be like a guide to the team since he's also Russian. But the most important thing was his performance. He shut down Pavon. Even the commentator said so. he is extraordinarily needed in the team. I'm careful of hype that accompanies this win, but factually, the last time we came from goal deficit to stun our opponents was at Atlanta 96. I think the Eagles are searching for more prey in flight. |

Goke7: and to top it, the guy sabi russian language, sometimes an off the pitch asset could be handy in making critical decisions Asin.... His boldness no be here o. Echiejele gats upgrade to see Russia o. He simply sent a clip of himself to Rohr, and that was it.... |

Mujtahida: Gradually the defence is gelling. I see Awaziem and Omeruo being the our two other CBs. Balogun needs to work on his pace. We won't be sentimental about 'oyibo wall' ooo. Ekong is tuning himself finely with every game and turning into a commander. Even Ebuehi was dishing instructions.
We need to shop for one more attacker: would it be Kayode, Nwakaeme, Onuachu, Dessers? yeah Awaziem has improved on his handling of the ball. Balogun is off form for now and can be excused. That nomination gingered Ekong. The difference BTW Shehu and Ebuehi is while one sits back and frustates attacking opponents fullly.. .the other has pace to join the attack and still recover comfortably. Question is: Is Papi Rohr attempting looking stupid in tactic to make opponents loose guard. He just embarrassed the mist sort after manager in European club sphere. |

Who noticed the way Uzoho was shouting at his senior brothers in defence? Something Akpeyi can't do. Does he even know the rules of a gk?
Papi Rohr gats start both Nacho and Iwobi henceforth IMHO. Their understanding is second to none on field of play. |

Joebie: I had said that we would need to keep on searching for more competition at LB, while Aina, Ebuehi and Shehu all battle it out at RB. Because as it stands Idowu has given us a good display. But we still need to see more from him. Echiejile does not meet the current WC standard. We are talking 2018. I doubt we need to see more from him. On your debut against the dreaded Argentina attack and you still find space to score? That is exceptionally enough to be on the plane to Russia? |

John Ogu= Bakayoko of Chelsea Brian Idowu= Lacazette of Arsenal Don't blame me, blame the fans at the viewing centre I watched the two games at Iwobi's knack for stylishly drifted to centre to play 10 for both club and country has always'd produced goals. Back to school mode thus my silence. Our defence na oyinbo our mid back naija. 9 search continues. |

Sainty92: Can any of Victor Moses or Trust Ekong win APOTY 2017? I knew it's gonna be tough the moment I saw Sadio Mane and Mohammed Salah in the list. But I tink the 3 finalists will be Moses, Salah and Mane. Any of them can win it. BTW, why is Wilfred Ndidi not on the list? The guy has been consistent for club and country...
Modified: Aubameyang can win it as well. Its surely gonna be tough for our own VicMo No one is looking at Bakambu of Villareal. He has the same form Aubameyang had when he won Apoty. Sane and Salah are team carriers, just like VicMo . I'd pick Salah to clinch it, but VicMo won what Salah didnt win, so twill be dicey. |
