Its the first of many, the ARA that you say is beautiful was not always that way, if you remember our first "MRAP" you can understand how experience could vastly improve ones work. So while i agree with you on that vehicle quite poor, i very much expect us to improve its design with more experience. |

panafrican: Foreign forces do not need posts on the internet to find out about potential targets, even if they did these projects are already in the public domain and us posting it here makes zero difference. Our job is to bring these projects to the attention of the wider world that is ignorant of what developments are occurring in the continent and how quickly we are moving forward despite the challenges we face. Many Nigerians I know are unaware of the developments happening in our own country, the same for most countries in Africa. Its threads like this in popular African forums that will bring those projects to light and hopefully instill some pride in the citizens of those countries. 3 Likes |

We need a thread where we can post the different developments happening across the continent, whether it be infrastructural, educational, business e.t.c. I was initially going to make the thread only on Nigeria but it is very evident that we have a diverse community here on nairaland, so making the thread on developments across the continent seems to be the better option. Also, this thread is not meant to be used for arguments. We as Africans are in the sewer, arguing on who is cleanest does not make any sense. Anyways I guess I will start. Zungeru hydropower project is a 700MW hydroelectric facility being built with Chinese assistance on the upper and middle reaches of Kaduna River in the Niger State of Nigeria. 1 Like

zombieHUNTER: You can have average players and still be a really good team, look at Iceland and Australia. The problem we have in naija is big man attitude, players like Moses and iwobi who are average somehow starts thinking they are hotsh*t because they play for big clubs. Iwobi took a ball from deep in naija's half and ran across the pitch to the other side of Czechs 18 without passing the ball, its that kind of individualism without talent that drives me crazy. They think too highly of themselves, no humility at all. That's why Nigerias B team seems to be (and indeed is looking better) than the A team. They have the desire. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

To put this ongoing loss in perspective, Czech got thrashed by Australia, fucking AUSTRALIA. How are we currently losing to that team, where is our B team because it seems they will do better in the world cup than these idiots. 2 Likes |

lionel4power: Doubt it, for all the talk of Russia's inexperience in making a stealth aircraft they have more experience than China does (which is none). The plane looks cool but it is far too big and has far too many moving parts (that massive canard does not help its case). It is a bomb truck and nothing more, might have some stealth features but I don't thing it's nearly as stealthy as the SU-50 which in turn isn't nearly as stealthy as the F-22. |
