Lord, we are bad, I don't think we will make it out of the group stage at this rate, how many missed passes, how many miscontrols, how many fouls given away? incredibly sloppy, this makes the US that lost against Panama look world class. it's like watching a third division club play, Jesus.
It's a shame that one person in here gets away with repeatedly calling others "NIGGER", and everyone acts like that's normal. Whether he is African or not such behavior should not be acceptable, truly shameful.
Nothing to be proud of in those numbers, you see where Indonesia is? That's where we should be. In 2050 Nigeria will be the third most populous country after India and China, do not celebrate mediocrity. We should have an economy larger than Indonesia's at that time if we are to be seen as a success, simply being the biggest in Africa is no longer enough.
Amberon11: Lol... So many Yoruba's I know own properties in Port Harcourt. I mean so so many. I know a particular Yoruba family that owns 2 houses in Port harcourt, Hausa's too. Don't compare PH to igboland.
Out of curiosity, what do you think PH will be without Igbo's. Because unlike Lagos PH would be a village without Igbo investment, it might not be Igbo land but it's heavily influenced by the Igbos's.
Vasaratti16: L. A NOIRE us an open-world adventure, slap a Rockstar logo on the box, and we'll come running. Throw in a properly captivating plot, generation-defining facial animation technology and set us free in an authentic recreation of 1940s Los Angeles, and we'll practically throw our money at it. And so we did when Team Bondi dished up the stylish crime saga, L.A. Noire, bolstered by a critical response which the developer would have been rightly proud of. But all was not well in the city of angels. For every group of L.A. Noire fanatics unable to tear themselves away from the amazingly realistic characters and silky-smooth storytelling, there was a handful of aspiring detectives who couldn't overlook the games' underlying flaws. Flaws which unshakable fans chose to bury under a thick layer of enthusiasm for this astounding achievement in immersive narrative and mould-breaking design. Many saw weaknesses where others saw innovation, especially centred around the headline feature of the game - the interrogation and investigation mechanic. Nay-sayers called it limited and stifling, when we had been assured of a dynamic investigative procedure unlike anything we had experienced before. Visually, and in terms of delivering an unforgettable cinematic experience, Team Bondi exceeded expectations. Even the cover-based gunplay was well above average for a third- person adventure game. But criticisms aimed at the cardboard cut-out feel of Los Angeles and a disconnect between player and certain game mechanics, being funnelled in a scripted direction instead of given the freedom hoped for, left some as cold as a body found in the trunk of an abandoned Cadillac Series 62. Oh, and a quick sidebar: Lead protagonist Cole Phelps was (possibly intentionally) an unrelatable, obnoxious twit.
You ain't serious, yes LA NOIRE has flaws, which game doesn't? To say however that it is overrated, I mean come on. The games facial capture is still unrivaled, the detective mechanics is till unrivaled, the interrogation mechanics (Where you have to look at the face of the character to see if they are lying or telling the truth) is still unrivaled. How can a game that set so many benchmarks be overrated?
nemesis2u: For size comparison, the typhoon class in the background, and its successor, the Borei class in the foreground
The typhoon class was on another level, mind you the Borei is currently the largest submarine in the world and its completely dwarfed by the typhoon class sub.
chinese8107: Janpanese MRJ (Mitsubishi Regional Jet) Its first flight was in November 2015.After a fifth delay, deliveries are scheduled to start by mid-2020 due to technical problem
Knowing the Japanese, the problems causing those delays could be overlooked in other aircrafts. Might end up being one of the most reliable aircrafts.

When is it going to be online, people lead very busy lives. The last documentary has still to show up online.
BMP-3's performance in Yemen has been p1ss-poor. Paper thin armor, and troops have to exit by crouching, climbing over the engine and off the roof - exposing themselves to fire and slowing them down.
There are better options. Pic very much related.
Middle eastern countries have proven incapable of handling any equipment they have in any fashion resembling professional, especially Saudi Arabia. If you are going to use their performance to judge the platform then i guess the M1A2's are complete shit. Saudi Arabia has managed to make every weapons system in their inventory look shit due to inexperience and lack of any proper strategy. The BMP3 doesn't have paper thin Armour, sure its not as armored as some other IFV's out there but that is by design. The Soviet doctrine was different from the west and that manifest's itself in the BMP-3, it is better armored than its predecessors but its essentially a heavily armed nimble machine that you can throw around. Much faster than most IFV's and rather light, and ofcourse their is the added bonus of it being relatively cheap.
Good, after all this is over they should be brought into the Military because living them to live their lives as civilians will cause problems down the line.
The M-346 is the absolute perfect replacement for our Alpha jets. It's the entire package for a jet trainer, a "Class A" trainer.
We never had a requirement for Air Superiority fighters like the SU-30. I don't know where we keep getting the SU-30 idea from, it just isn't a requirement. We've always had a requirement for a multi-role fighter, not an Air Superiority one. My top choice would have been 28 units of the Chengdu J-10B, however the choice of the JF-17 is also a very sound one.
I mean, it takes $12,000 to fly the SU-30 for every hour. That's ridiculously expensive. We don't have that kind of money.
The SU-30 is a multi-role fighter though, it just happens to be a very good air superiority fighter too. The SU-35 is the dedicated air-superiority fighter that the Russians have, to be complemented by the T-50 whenever serial production for that begins. The SU-34 is their ground attack air-craft to be complemented by the Yak-131 whenever that is fielded in quantity (most likely for low intensity conflicts) and Yak-152 (or whatever designation the attack variant of that aircraft gets). I am on the same page that we should go with the Yak-130 or any derivative of it, but at $15 million you think the stingy people we have running this government will even bring out that much?
EDIT: Also why the M-346 and not the Yak-130? you seem to favor the M-346.
Henry240: Nigeria needs to quickly retire the Alpha Jet. Transfer a couple units to a newly formed display team, then send the rest to the Museum or reserves. I'm sure even the Alpha jets have had enough. We've had a long and fruitful relationship, and it's time to move on.
The deployment to P-H air base is quite sizeable and should provide context. It's now up-to the Air Force to provide results.
Seriously, its amazing how reliant we have been on that one platform. If we retire it though which aircraft do you suppose will take up its COIN role for the NAF, and am not talking about multirole superjets like SU-30 and co (Since Naija has shown an unwillingness to go after those).
Daverytimes U are a disgrace for laying abuse on those that airs dere view on d subject I pety dis country when d lyks of U gets d so called equality, cuz U can murder Ur hobby hypocrite
Spare me the drivel, i am a man but a man of principle. Everyone has a right to their opinion but that doesn't mean their opinion will be right, such opinions that deny women basic human rights because "they are created from men" are highly idiotic and borne out of lack of common sense. Also what the heck is this? "I pety dis country when d lyks of U gets d so called equality, cuz U can murder Ur hobby", are you really serious? The thousands of women being murdered now by their husbands nko? are you saying the privilege to murders ones hubby should be bestowed to men? how regressive can one be.
mccoy47: I stand with the senate on this oo. Call me misogynist, call me sexist. I don't care!. Believe me if this bill was passed, you will start seeing lots of divorce cases from gold digging women as it is applicable to foreign countries! I mean what does the silly bill tend to achieve by giving women equal right in marriage and divorce! Tah!!!
There is a reason God made woman from the rib of man and no woman is equal to a man!
**modified** Just saw the part of the bill about violence against women, I think that aspect should be adopted in a separate bill and passed. #Say no to violence against women. But for equal rights? Mba!!!
You are an **** and those who liked your comments likewise. People like you are why Nigeria will not be leaving its impoverished and backwards state anytime soon, am ashamed to see how many like you got because its a reflection of just how many **** we have on nairaland and Nigeria as a whole. What utter shame, you all carry religion on your heads anytime you want to advocate for the repression of peoples, never for the good.
Very low quality, i wish it was in better quality as it is a good video. 480 or 720p will do it justice. Best vid of the Nigerian airforce, the only video if we are being honest.
Abeg this missile is still a shock to US, everyone is comparing it to Tomahawk missile. No 1 is even sure of the name of the Russian missile used. Could it be 3M-14 missile or RK-55? Who knows if they still have a better cruise missile?
3M-54E1, fired from 3 Buyan-M corvettes and one Gepard class frigate.
If the atrocities are not broadcast to the world, how come you know about them? Clearly, you are talking rubbish and sucking things out of your thumb. You could always prove me wrong by posting a picture of a US soldier posing with the head of an enemy soldier, after having cut it off.
