Day 6 in Kaduna. I have been going round looking for Tinubu's campaign banner in Kaduna, still haven't found any. Even supporters, I haven't found anyone supporting him.

Luckily, I came across some APC banners that have Uba Sani, Kaduna gubernatorial candidate and other APC members, yet, Tinubu's picture is conspicuously missing. What's happening? Are they ashamed of Tinubu or what?

Everyone I ask, na Atiku. Ask 20 people, 19 will say they want Atiku. 1 for Kwankwaso.

In Kaduna Central, 19 would say Atiku, 1 Obi.

In Kaduna South, 19 would say Atiku, 1 Obi.

Atiku has taken over Kaduna!
There is no way Tinubu will defeat Atiku in the north.

PoliticsRe: Nigerians Too Hungry To Bother About Their Religion – Keyamo by David160(m): 1:18pm On Sep 26, 2022
tsephanyah:
Nigerians too hungry to bother about their religious faiths in 2023 election – Keyamo
“Nigerians are hungry, they want to see how that hunger will be addressed, not how their Christian or Muslim faiths will be addressed."
BySamson Adenekan September 26, 2022 Reading Time: 2 mins read

A spokesperson of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, says Nigerians are too hungry to be swayed by their religious faiths in the choice they will make in the forthcoming general elections.

Mr Keyamo stated this during an interview with Channels Television on Sunday night, against the backdrop of the criticisms that have continued to trail the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket.

The ruling APC is fielding Bola Tinubu, a South-west Muslim and Kashim Shettima, a North-east Muslim, as its presidential and vice presidential candidates in the February election.

Despite the kicks from groups, organisations and persons of Christian faith, the ruling party has not backed down on promoting the ticket, insisting that it is the best for Nigerians.

In reiterating this position, Mr Keyamo, argued that Nigerians would like to see policies that will address their hunger rather than bothering about their faiths.

“Nigerians are hungry, they want to see how that hunger will be addressed, not how their Christian or Muslim faiths will be addressed.

“They want to see our policies on agriculture and what Asiwaju has done before as governor of Lagos State, how he improved Lagos and how he will bring that kind of posterity to Nigeria as a whole,” he said.

Mr Keyamo also seized the opportunity to react to the condemnation of Tinubu/Shettima ticket by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN).

The Christian group said it has no affiliation with clergymen under its umbrella that met with Mr Tinubu in Abuja on Friday. They also rejected the same faith ticket of the party.

“They should not be coming to question the decision of our party publicly. The purpose of pastors or their duty is to lead people to heaven not to lead people to villa.

“If I go to church every Sunday, I want to hear the sermon of God and I don’t want to hear the sermon of politics or who should rule me. I want to hear the sermon of God and what will lead me to salvation and not what to lead me to the villa,” Mr Keyamo argued.

While President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has continued to face strong criticisms from some individuals and groups for poor performance, the 2023 APC presidential candidate, Mr Tinubu, has promised to build on the incumbent’s legacy.

The same ruling party rode into power in 2015 by promising to effectively tackle insecurity, infrastructural decay and economic downturns but the reality differs.

As political parties gear towards the official commencement of campaign on 28 September, similar promises are already rolling not only from the APC candidates but also from candidates contesting under the other 17 political parties.

candidtalk:
You guys and all your bullcrap anecdotal 'evidence'. You will all be shocked when Tinubu defeats Atiku easily. Elections are won with strategy and mastery of comprehensive mobilisation throughout Nigeria.

This is why Buhari who was far more popular than Atiku failed to become a democratically elected President with his first three efforts.

This election will open eyes of Nigerian youths because speaking to a lot of them, especially those under 23, has been a really scary experience for me.

They are so ignorant and know next to nothing about serious issues. They all have second-hand opinion and are completely unaware of the credentials, achievements and history of the candidates running.

Scariest of all is that they do not even understand the biggest problem of Nigeria , I.e her unworkable and unproductive core structure, and believe in one god-like messiah waving a magic wand to make everything ok.

Worse still, majority have no voters card but are always online shooting their mouth in support of the outcome they want yet don't have the knowledge to understand is improbable. We shall see sha.
Tinubu is not popular anywhere... Most northerners are either with Atiku or Kwankwaso.

This election has turned into North VS South..

The north will never leave Atiku hanging.
PoliticsBuhari, Aso Rock Cabals Secretly Working Against APC Candidate, Tinubu,- Sahara by David160(op): 4:31am On Sep 23, 2022
The cabals including some members of Buhari’s extended family and friends are the powers behind the throne.

President Muhammadu Buhari and members of the Aso Rock cabals are plotting to retain power in the Northern region in 2023, a presidential source has informed SaharaReporters.

According to the source, Buhari and members of the cabals are secretly supporting Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party against Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The cabals including some members of Buhari’s extended family and friends are the powers behind the throne.

The group, led by Buhari’s nephew, Mamman Daura, is said to have the ears of the President, influence policies and determine those who get major appointments.

The source added that Buhari before the May 28, PDP’s presidential primary approved the payment of billions of naira to settle debts that the government owed some companies linked to Atiku.

“Do you know why Atiku doesn’t really care about (Rivers State Governor, Nyesom) Wike and others? It’s because President Buhari and the cabals are supporting him,” he said.

“Buhari gave him monies that were owed him to enable him win the PDP primary. He asked the richest man in Katsina, Dahiru Mangal, to defect to PDP and support Atiku; the reason Atiku is calling Wike’s bluff.

“With Atiku from the North, as a presidential candidate, they have asked top northerners to work for him irrespective of party affiliation.”

The Rivers Governor, Wike, had recently alleged that Abubakar was arrogant because someone in the presidency was backing him.

The governor said the same forces at the presidency promised someone the APC presidential ticket but failed to deliver it.

“Why are they being so arrogant? They are arrogant because they believe somebody in the presidency is backing them. But what they don’t understand is the same person in the presidency backed somebody as APC presidential aspirant, and the person failed,” he had said.

“I will tell Nigerians at the appropriate time who is that person in the presidency that is backing them that they are being arrogant.”

SaharaReporters in 2021 reported how some members of the Aso Rock cabal asked President Buhari to place Tinubu on the watch list.

They had accused Tinubu of sabotaging the war against insecurity in the country and instigating Nigerians, especially those from his South-West region, against the Buhari-led government.

The group urged the President to order security agencies to investigate the activities of the APC stalwart.

“They accused him (Tinubu) of instigating Nigerians against Buhari. He was also accused of sponsoring different groups to cause unrest across the country.

“I think they (cabals) think this is another method to tame Tinubu ahead of the 2023 elections after a lot of noise in the APC in which his allies lost out. They are doing everything within their power to stop the President from supporting Tinubu’s ambition come 2023,” a presidential source had told SaharaReporters.

Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, played a key role in the political merger of parties in 2013 which created the APC.

PoliticsRe: Misfit Peter Obi Is No Different From Muhammadu Buhari, He Has Nothing To Offer. by David160(m): 2:15pm On Sep 20, 2022
Newsline09:
Oftentimes, I have argued that Peter Obi is just a situational presidential candidate and a sensation for the vulnerable folks who lack emotional intelligence but rather, wish to be part of trends.

Yes, the APC-led administration made Peter Obi popular. The retrogression that Nigeria and Nigerians have witnessed in the last seven (7) years has made it possible for every Tom Dick and Harry to have an opinion about leadership. Peter Obi found himself fit for the situation the APC had reduced Nigeria to due to his ability to lie, blackmail and maliciously torture figures to manipulate emotions.

Again, due to the APC government's abandonment of the young students to industrial action, which led to the closure of our universities and the frequent pseudo-advocacy of Peter Obi, this made him popular with the weaker minority and especially the younger students.

Peter Obi is short on ideas. He repeatedly demonstrates that he knows nothing about Nigerian issues, let alone potential solutions. Instead, he would rather be the embodiment of blackmailing his zombidients, who are merely new political enthusiasts willing to swallow any pill christened Peter Obi without due diligence and critical interrogation due to their fractured emotions and being fed many false theories that do not represent a third of our realities.

Earlier this year, Peter Obi travelled to Egypt with the claim of studying Egypt's power sector, which he claimed was the largest in Africa. A few weeks later, he returned with the promise that Nigeria, under his presidency (sic), would try the Egypt power model. However, the media sensation yesterday at LCCI refuted his claims of going the Egypt Power Sector route, but asserted that he would consider full privatization of the Nigeria power sector. His claims has since raised concerns among many Nigerians. Poor Peter.

At the same event, Peter Obi stated that his administration would cut petrol subsidies by 50%. This comes just weeks after the same Peter Obi accused the Federal Government of engaging in coordinated theft through oil subsidies, claiming that such a scheme does not exist and that he would consider eliminating all subsidies as President. It’s then funny and terrible how he makes a sudden u-turn to claim that he will rather reduce the cost by half. This, and other examples, have served to highlight the inconsistency of a man claiming to be the messiah.

The Obidents are undoubtedly taking desperate measures to push us to another impasse of Muhammadu Buhari's replica at a time when we appear to be moving away from the APC and Muhammadu Buhari's disastrous era. Buhari was never prepared to be President, but was forced upon Nigerians by self-serving gladiators who today are regretting their actions of 2015.

Peter Obi, like Buhari, is a mere sensation among a segment of Nigerians who have been horribly lied to, manipulated, and had their emotions tortured by conspiracy theories and false claims. He has continued to make promises after promises, delivering motivational speeches and jumbled statistics as if governance is all about figures and poetry.

For me, I wouldn’t be expecting much from a man who, as a student, could not read his notes and pass his exams, but rather struggled to graduate with a poor third class in Philosophy, and since then, has not thought about any form of higher education, when his mates are all coming forward with Doctor and Professorship.

It’s sad that many, perhaps those who have ignorantly swallowed the Obi pills, have reduced governance to trends and are no longer paying attention to issues. May Nigeria not fall into the hands of a man suffering from cognitive dissonance.

Obi has yet to make detailed decisions on how he will approach security, education, infrastructure, subsidies, and a variety of other critical issues that the APC administration has ignored over the last seven (7) years. Peter Obi has no recovery plans and is instead obsessed with rhetoric. Peter Obi needs help, not the desire of many vulnerable young Nigerians for him to become president, even when it’s obvious that he lack direction.

Peter Obi is a misfit and rather robbed in a bogus attire. With his inconsistency in full view, he has nothing to offer but the hope of playing on the emotions of vulnerable Nigerians. A mere opportunist and situational presidential aspirant.

Nigeria will surely overcome the Muhammadu Buhari personification.
