motif8:
What the north are planning should not be allowed to materialise. There is urgent need for the southern political leader, sociocultural leaders and elite to come together now or presidency may reside in the north forever.

I told someone in 2014 that the effect of the northerners ambush on Jonathan may not leave our political space anytime soon. Some of our brethren who gave them the ideas did not extract more commitment from them and now we are about to have northern president after PMB.

Wether we like it or not, we will have people in the south to give Atiku votes, but can we get same from them with the look of things. They are burning brooms and decamping in droves, and we all know it is time for southern presidency. Who among the northern politicians or elite will accept 16 years of southern presidency? I listened to Shettima and Amosun leaked conversations and shettima said they will do everything to keep power in the north and they are on the project now.

I have not seen the south putting effort to thwart the move of the north to retain power in 2023. I have watched one Igbo man working hard on AIT to sell Atiku, how many northerners are working to sell Obi? Maybe I am not on ground in the north. How many is selling Tinubu in the north? We can continue to deceive ourselves down the south here. We are the one naming our politicians the name the north will use for campaign, we are the ones calling obituary, we are the one calling Tinubu, when we should be forming alliance within ourselves to will election.

The division here is what the north is enjoying. And they are helping us with more fuel to keep the fire of division burning.

We lost the primary in PDP because of division down the south. We managed to sail through in APC, but the north are moving out to other side and the campaign will be that APC is bad because they have ran it down with poor governance, everywhere is bleeding and they are waiting for Tinubu to campaign against Buhari and the hell will be let loose, if he says he will continue from where Buhari stopped, he will meant banditry and kidnapping and terrorism will continue. It is a very serious issue.

Can we have a candidate and drum entire southern support for the person? What do we need to do to have this? This is a million dollar question. If this puzzle is not unraveled, watch how kwankwanso will move back to PDP should Atiku win and become another candidate on the rule that the ticket should be thrown open for contest and they use their political Landscape that has be skewed to favor them in primary election to produce candidate and the trend will continue.

I am just trying to point out the danger ahead
Tinubu should collapse structure and work for obi.

Intially he was supporting obi to move to a new party because they though the support will die down if he left PDP.. It didn't.

Then he said Peter obi doesn't have structure nor political clout.

Now he's begging obi to step down for Atiku... Why are u begging someone without political clout or structure to step down.??

Peter obi is now the face of a movement against bad governance... He's the only Christian in the race which plays to his advantage.. That's why most PDP guys want him out of the race.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Is The Most Power Southerner That Can Face NORTHERNERS. by David160(m): 2:24pm On Aug 28, 2022
Jagabanofafrica:
Obi and his IPOB fanbase are comical. Do they think they will benefit electorally by discrediting BAT?

This election is a desperate 'cold war' between North and South. Stakes are very high because 'born to rule' Northerners who always demand power, so as to be able to control every Nigerian money - making parastatal and process, are at their most desperate , in the history of Nigeria, to ensure power remains in the North.

This is because they are petrified Buhari has done so much damage that any powerful Southerner, like Tinubu, will be demanded by the entire Nigeria to 'change it' for them and 'equalize'. There is real anger and bad blood in the heart of Southern Leaders over the perception Buhari has deliberately put the South in jeopardy to favour the North.

This is even why Atiku and Tambuwal combined desperately and jettisoned the need for fairness by finally destroying the North to South equitable power shift. Such is the desperation of some Northern leaders to hold on to power that they are willing to go into uncharted troubled water that may destroy the unity of Nigeria finally and completely.

Nigeria is now in a silent feudal war between North and South.

Even Kwankwaso has confessed that the 'mood' of the North is to retain power. What he failed to add is that it is the mood of Northern leaders and elite, whose existence depends on political power and patronage, he is referring to.

All in all, this is not Obi's level. It is not Amaechi's level or even Osinbajo's level. Those guys are not battle-ready leaders, like proven war generals, with a dedicated troop of leaders behind them who are ready to go to war with them.

Tinubu is the only Southerner who can battle the North so that Nigeria is reshaped in an image that benefits all to include even the Northerners ready to vote their historical and callous oppressors in the form of Kwankwaso and Atiku.

Obi is a little boy in a big man's game. He is going nowhere because there are levels and this is not his level nor his time. After Buhari, Nigeria will not survive the wrong choice of President for even 6 months.

Those talking about Obi are fantasists. Even in much better times in the past, Obi would never last as a President if he arrives with no legislators as he plans to do with Labour Party.

In today's troubled Nigeria, with so much good versus evil battle going on underground for the soul of our nation, Obi is just a clown in a joke of a political Party.

The North, if Atiku cannot win, would love Obi to win so they can impeach him within 3 months using the legislative majority we know they will always carry.

It is Tinubu, who is the most powerful southerner alive and a man who does not fear them, they are worried about and wish to keep out of Aso Rock by any means possible. Their continuous control of every sector of Nigeria desperately depends on keeping BAT awy from the Presidency.

If Obi had been in Tinubu's shoes, battling for the APC ticket against Northern 'born to rule' political fascism, he would have fled Nigeria to hide in Alaska.

The only good thing about Obi is that he will damage PDP's traditional strength in the SS and SE to the benefit of Tinubu and APC. Anyone thinking Obi has a chance does not understand the real desperate battle going on that cannot be spoken about openly by any of the candidates even though Kwankwaso has inadvertently clued on sharp Nigerians with his Northern "mood" talk.
If obi can't get it.. Let Atiku have it.

PoliticsRe: Dele Alake: Why Some People Are Jealous Of Bola Tinubu by David160(m): 8:27pm On Aug 27, 2022
Yoruba1stson:
Dele Alake, director of strategic communication in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, says those criticising Bola Tinubu’s godfatherism in Lagos are envious of his good deeds.
Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, was governor of Lagos state from 1999 to 2007. Since
then, he has spread his political tentacles and gained influence in national politics through his allies.
Speaking on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme on Friday, Alake said that though the
notion of godfatherism has been given a negative connotation in Nigeria, there is nothing wrong with
the concept if used to promote the public good.
He said those who criticise the former governor for being a godfather lack the mental and financial capability to attain the hegemonic status.
“The notion of godfatherism has been given a negative connotation in the political lexicon of Nigeria and by those who are unnecessary envious of others, not because they do not wish to be godfathers if they could work for it if they could have the mental and financial wherewithal to become a godfather,” he said.
“There is nothing absolutely wrong with godfatherism if that godfatherism is public-spirited.
“Awolowo, our revered sage, was a godfather because he produced many other leaders, and Ahmadu Bello was a godfather because he produced many leaders.
“Nnamdi Azikwe was a godfather because he also sired leaders politically, so therefore why should Tinubu’s own be given a negative connotation simply because people who are indolent, lazy, suffuse with
inertia and lethargy, cannot work assiduously and cannot attain political height through which they
could also develop other leaders and become positive godfathers.

“So, there is nothing essentially, inherently wrong with having a godfather as long as it is public-spirited.”

1TripleC:
Peter Obi’s Solution

✍️ By Yinka Festus Adb

Everytime I read people say Peter Obi is only talking about the problems and not the solutions, I get confused.

Is it that you don't listen to the man at all or you don't listen attentively because of your bias or you are just an outright mischief maker who tells lies to score points?

Obi's philosophies and ideologies have never been hidden because he is always talking about it.

For example, he talks about our crumbling economy and budget deficits and he is clear about PRUDENCE as a key factor to solving it.

Swear you have never heard Obi talk about prudence in governance as a key to turning things around.

He talks about how our culture of waste is killing our economy persistently; about how he used prudence to manage Anambra State such that he was able to win the award of "The Least Indebted State" from the Debt Management Office and left N75 billion for his successor - something no Governor have ever done in Nigeria.

He talks about the crashing Naira and how it is due to the fact that we consume more than we produce.

He was the one who invented the "CONSUMPTION TO PRODUCTION" mantra as the way out.

Can you swear you've never heard Obi saying something about consumption to production before?

He talks about out how the North with its vast land and human resources can be our agricultural hub. This is what he talks about whenever he is talking about Netherlands making $100 billion from agricultural exports.

The problem is you'll be more keen about the 100 billion dollars figures so you can Google and fact check him than hear his agriculture and northern talk

Lol

He talks about Industrialization and SMEs.

He talks about Education and Health.

He talks about creating jobs by massive agriculture and industrialization.

He talks about how reducing unemployment figures which can reduce insecurity by nearly 50% making it easier for security agencies to deal with the remnants.

He talks about how he will address genuine agitation by dialogue while the recalcitrant criminal elements will be dealt with decisively.

While we await his manifestos and policy documents during campaigns, please note that Obi have been talking about solutions to our problems but you are the one listening only to pick figures that you can type on Google to factcheck and bring here to call him a liar.

You'll rather pick the $100 billion of his Netherlands agriculture talks for factchecking than hear the part he says northern Nigeria having capacity to do same and more.

You are the one not listening.
What has Tinubu spoken about?

I'm not an APC fan because they failed Nigerians. Having said that, if the APC Northern governors should keep to their promise of delivering their states to APC as they did to BAT during the primaries, your guess will definitely be as good as mine, thank you.
For Tinubu to win this election he needs to pull Buhari numbers in the north.. Like 1.9M in kastina... He also needs to hold all the states that Buhari won in 2019.

That's not possible in 2023 cos of Atiku... Apc will lose some states in the north east and north west will be a battle.

Darren95:
I am from Rivers state and I can tell you that I do not belong to any political party. You can see me hail a party member today and see me castigate him tomorrow if I feel his is not delivering good leadership, justice and development to its people.

2023 Presidential election I can assure you that majority of Rivers people will consider:

1. Region (North or South)

2. Capacity ( Ability to deliver)

1. Region: If anybody tells you that Rivers people will vote for a northerner then just know you are being deceived. Let me tell you, Gov. Wike knows this that is why he is fighting Atiku with boldness!
What will Gov Nyesom Wike tell we Rivers People to vote for another Fulani man after Buhari? Na madness??

2. Capacity: Base on the above, in terms of capacity, the two major presidential candidates from the South is Tinubu and Peter Obi.
The truth is that Rivers people would have love to vote for the Igbos base on the fact that they have not ruled, but we can’t trade capacity to deliver with it is my turn.

Looking at the candidate, Tinubu has more experience and has technocrats around him to deliver better than Peter Obi including judging from their past records as Governors.

Some may want to discredit Tinubu by judging him with age, religion and health status, the truth is that if Tinubu can read clearly, campaign across the 36 states without any health challenge then he can rule Nigeria.

Religion: Past history have not shown any benefits on the state of the country. Things keeps getting worst so let’s try this same religion and I can tell you it will reduce religious bigots and unite Nigerians irrespective of religion or region. These religions were imported, our root unites the black people more as one united people of Africa.

Tinubu will deliver more than Peter Obi

Let’s we Southern Nigeria don’t make the mistake the North made with Buhari.

Yoruba are in full support for restructuring/regional government and let’s support their son who understands the game, the system and experience to bring constitutional amendments and development to Southern Nigeria, the industrial hub of the nation.

Peter Obi na learner, them fit even impeach am, na Jonathan pro max.

But Tinubu na Don 1. Southerners na this kind man we need this time to represent us, we mistake for Jonathan way too cool and you want us to send another small pikin Peter Obi?

Come southerners are one, stop this it’s south east or this turn??!! If it’s south east turn why is it not we Ikwerre people of rivers state turn? We are ijaws (Goodluck Jonathan)? So forget about it is my turn.

Southern Nigeria is one!!!
Even Amaehi a sitting governor couldn't deliver Rivers to Apc in 2015.

Rivers will vote for obi... They will never go with Muslim muslim... The igbo population in rivers alone is enough to deliver the state to obi.

Sarki was on Twitter a few months ago apologizing to the Igbos and promising to work for obi in the north. Today he has declared support for Atiku.

Tinubu supporters are online mocking and laughing at obi without reading the writing on the wall... "Northerners will always back northerners".

There is no way Tinubu will defeat Atiku in the north east.. It is impossible... Atiku will spend his last card than lose his zone to Tinubu.

Tinubu will have to battle Atiku & Kwankwaso in the NW.. Kwankwaso will win kano.. Followed by Atiku (if he's able to get sherakau to join pdp).

The turn out in the north west will be low this time cox of insecurity.

Even in the north central, those that voted for Buhari here will most likely back Kwankwaso or Atiku.. From the crowd Kwankwaso pulled in Nasarawa Tinubu should be worried.. Tinubu will lose kwara cox Apc dere is in crisis.

Those northern votes Tinubu is counting on won't materialize... Northerners won't leave Atiku and back Tinubu... Most of Buhari voters will become Atiku voters in 2023.
