FarahAideed: Yet you support Buhari that is the least intelligent Nigerian ....why don't you bring up an intelligent discussion on any topic on earth lets see how smart you are
No hard feelings, but think about it. It's not the number of comments you make everyday that matter but the content.
FarahAideed: Under Buhari Nigeria remains the worst governed place on earth , the poll seems to have underaged Nigeria under Buhari
Don't know if anybody really takes you seriously on this forum. Can't you make intelligent, analytical comment for once? This is just a repetition of all you've been saying as far as I can remember!
nairavsdollars: Shut up Sunny You are skillful but you have a nasty character You established mafia in Eagles, bleeped Taribo West's wife, fought a colleague in Germany....i can go on and on
Just change your character and all will be fine
God created you male but you decided to make yourself female on Nairaland. Why, bro? @Bigtt76 you too. Very awful.
Who's gonna listen to you when you preach X and do Y ? You're advocating for chastity but you're exposing your breasts that should have been hidden, to the world. It doesn't work.
presidency: Do you live/work in major parts of the Abuja Metropolis?
Then there’s good news for you!!!
As part of the government’s efforts to revamp our electric power supply, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has expanded its capacity to transmit the entire 7,000MW of electricity generation capacity of Nigerian Gencos.
Today, The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, commissioned two 100MVA and 132/33kv Transformers in Katampe and Apo areas of FCT respectively. These have increased electricity capacity to 220MVA and 290MWA respectively.
You would ask, “So how does this affect me as an Abuja resident?”
Simple! Do you live or work in the following areas: Gwarimpa, Life Camp, Jabi, Kado, Jahi, Wuye, Maitama, Mpape, Katampe I and II, Mabushi, Garki, Gudu, Guzape, Asokoro, Apo Resettlement, Wumba, Apo Mechanic Village or parts of Lugbe and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport?
If yes, the results of the above project means you will begin to experience improved power supply.
And the TCN aren’t stopping there. The TCN, in conjunction with the Nigerian Electricity Transmission Project and the World Bank, are set to also upgrade the capacity of the 132/33kV substation in Central Area.
This means more light in more parts of Abuja!!!
There’s more.
TCN is implementing the Abuja Transmission Scheme (ATS). Through the scheme, five new substations and 3 transmission lines will be constructed.
The transmission lines will involve the third 330Kv transmission line into Abuja, a 330kV line that cuts through Abuja to Shiroro (Niger state) and another 330kv line that cuts through Abuja to Ajaokuta.
Out of the five substations, two of the new 300/132/33kv substations will be sited at the West Main (Lugbe) and New Apo. The three other 132/33kv substations will be sited at Lokogoma, Kuje and Gwarimpa.
The Federal Government is also collaborating with Japan to install Capacitor Banks worth over $10 million at Apo and Keffi substations to improve the quality of power supply.
This collaboration will also extend towards rehabilitation of Apapa, Akangba, Isolo and Ikeja West Substations in Lagos.
Change has Come!!!
Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame! So you people can't cover a small FCT at the same time? You have to fragment it, and you see that as an achievement. Why can't Nigeria for goodness' sake embark on ambitious projects as it happens in other countries? We keep on celebrating pipeborne water commissioning, changing of transformers and the likes. Talk about mediocrity.
Having to choose between Dino and FG is like choosing one among two not-too-good choices. Not minding he's in the ruling party, he's never ceased to criticise the govt. Some may see him as being hypocritic, but you can't deny his influence in the current Senate. Every legislature have their own Dino. If he's silenced, the Executive will pocket the whole legislature.
Lies! That was not what he said. Thank God I didn't make a comment before watching it. Bloggers and lie! Every religion has bias towards its beliefs. As Christians, we believe (and that's the truth) that Christ is the only way to God and as such... You know the rest. We are not being mean or inconsiderate or arrogant. Truth is exclusive.
12submarine: Lol @ Heaven's gateman? Go and watch it again. He said the difference between a Christian billionaire and dangote, the richest man in Africa, is that "one will make heaven while the other will not because the other does not pay tithes" . Now, between a Christian billionaire and the moslem dangote, who pays tithes and who doesn't pay?
You're visibly lying; he never added that bold. He was only majoring on being a Christian and not who doesn't pay tithe!
enilove: Those allegations are wrong . From the beginning of Islam , the Muslims all over have been the ones exhibiting and carrying out hatred against Christianity , in the Quran and in their deeds . It is not wrong to pay them back in their own coin.
It's wrong bro. You can debate them without dragging yourselves on the mud. You can disagree with any of their beliefs without sounding hateful. I must say that Mr Olaadegbu does this very well, in his interactions and debate with Muslims and atheists.
... Evang. Ravi Zacharias once quoted an Indian proverb that says: "After you've cut off my nose, there's no need giving me a rose to smell." How do you expect a Muslim to see the light of the Gospel after you've muddied that person's psyche and self-esteem through your abusive character and intolerance toward him?
...Se.un may not have been be fair in that he has yet to create a sub-section for we Christians too, but it's instructive to note that 99.9% of people trolling the Christians hère are NOT Muslims but atheists. So why do many so-called Christians invade (despite the caveat emptor that an Islamic declaration will be posted on their profile ) Islamic Section to post all sort of unprintable things about their "prophet" and faith? This is very bad. You can't convince people whose beliefs you've trampled on and made caricature of. The Apostles never used that style of preaching. So why should we? It seem to me that many Christians hide under the cover of "Islam is a violent religion" to hate on Muslims, even when there's no visible cause for that. That's very un-Christain!
Hello everyone. I'm writing this to point out the visible hate and intolerance being demonstrated by many Christians here on Nairaland about the Islamic Section created by Nairaland and towards the Muslims. Though I wasn't a member of this forum before that division was initiated, I'll in all honesty not blame the owners of this forum for doing it. From what I read, it was reported that many Christians were invading threads opened by Muslims and muddying them with varying insults and abuse on their beliefs. Coupled with the threats Seun was getting he had to put that put-off declaration to protect them from trolls.
N'a wa for this Kogi governor. You'll either see him welcoming Buhari at the airport or following him to Friday mosque in Abuja, as if there were no mosques in Lokoja. He doesn't seem to have any work to do in his home state. He has left the work he was elected for, to be Buhari's Tom boy.
If you're searching for responsible and efficient governance, look the way of Japan and China. They can literally build a whole city in one month to cater for a set of citizens who are in urgent need of mass accommodation. Is it not in Japan you will see a deep road sinkhole filled and "cemented" within 48 hours and an earthquake-damaged road repaired within 8 days ? Is it not in Japan you'll see a train station running solely for 3 years to transport a SINGLE schoolchild? And now China is dismantling a massive bridge overnight? Here in Nigeria, they'll set up a technical committee to look into it for 6 months. Submit the report to a minister who in turn submits to the President. The president takes 3 months to study it. Thereafter, he says the cost will be included in the following year's budget. And so on and so forth. Two years running, they'll start telling us they are waiting for foreign investors to initiate concessionary agreements.
Splendid! It's good this governor has finally learnt how to separate politics from real governance. I remember how he was always praising Buhari back then and been very careful with his utterance when commenting about the murderous activities of the herdsmen, but he has seen that Buhari is not "worth" the respect. So he has began to talk tough, and rightly so.
Buhari is like: "So all these my Yoruba ministers want to suspend all my Fulani brothers one after the other. I no go gree." To be a leader is really not an easy job.
We'll all die. Some go through plane crash, others while asleep. It doesn't really matter how. Jesus Christ had to die through crucifixion but it didn't stop Him from being the greatest man who ever lived.
