Skimpledawg:Unfortunately, I don't have a pdf version. It was a hard copy I read. I have tried getting a soft copy online but I was unsuccessful. |
There are few books that have touched my heart and have had great effects on me. One of them is Fire in His Bones, written by a certain Ruthane Garlock, about Bishop Idahosa. You can't read that book and stay the same. madprophet:You can get it from a bookstore that deals on Christian books. You can also get a hard copy version from Jumia. Getting it free from Google search seems very difficult. You have a weird moniker; I'm surprised you're interested in such a book as this. |
"Your King, your lord, your stubborn man ! - Ambassador Dion Osagie" The above clearly shows that the man has yet to fully repent from his wife-battery lifestyle. |
There are hypocrites in every religion, but Islam seem to have a greater percentage. The same Northern governors and billionaires who are quick to shout 'sharia' are the ones who have been doing English-style weddings for their children while they continue to use same sharia to appeal to the emotions of the masses. Even Buhari's daughter did a similar, more posh wedding last year. And Dangote's daughter's wedding in a few days' time, will be the crowning point of Western luxury and haram-like wedding. |
This write-up is a total trash. I'm proud of the fact that majority of the people who supported Buhari prior to his election have been criticising him when needed and defending him too where necessary. That's how to offer constructive criticism. This man is turning the Bible upside down. |
"See the snake my brother CATCHED in his farm", "See the way this lady MADES phone call", "See how much this guy SAWED while coming back from school" Nairaland . Kai...this site is awkward. See the sort of things gracing the front page. Why can't Seun refurbish this site, for goodness' sake? Why can't Se.un bring Nairaland Web Section eggheads together to shoot this site up to par with Facebook, Twitter and Instagram? |
Good. If we like, let's call it politicisation; people are bound to have different opinions. At least, it'll continue to unsettle Buhari on how he has failed to carry out his duties. And the people mourning their family members will pick some comfort from these 'high profile' visits. |
In countries with efficient police force/justice system, these hoodlums would be arrested within days, with the help of these images on the Internet. |
Battle of two stubborn polithiefcians. Let's see who blinks first. |
The lawmakers particularly descended on Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna and Yahaya Bello of Kogi states. How I wish these governors, including Wike, could be used as examples, where they could be sentenced to public stoning to serve as deterrent. I couldn't believe my eyes the day I saw picture of a Ganduje rally where hundreds or thousands appeared with dangerous weapons as if it was a hunting expedition. In sane countries, that governor wouldn't even last another day in office. If TEMPORARY military government is what will restore sanity to Nigeria, I'll welcome it with open arms. |
What sort of Igbos |
This university is learning where FUT Minna is. There hundreds have their admission withdrawn every year (that's if your CGPA is less than 2.0). We need to effect this kind of standard in every university. The current standard in most state/federal universities is nearly zero. |
"But I can tell you that I would love a situation where we do away with running costs, constituency projects and leaves senators and members of House of Reps with salaries." We still have senators with conscience and this man seems to be one of the few. What this country urgently needs is a revolution that will usher in a new breeze of life for the ordinary man. Our politicians are the only ones enjoying our commonwealth. |
And Alpha Beta is 'proudly' owned by Tinubu. This is the height of perfidy; how can a PRIVATE firm be included into a law as a possible consultant? Tinubu's ownership of Lagos is coming to an end soon. It's a great thing that he couldn't extend that clout to the national scene. Had he succeeded, he will have been collecting monthly allowances from the FG as a godfather. |

There's a lot of conspiracy in the treatment of AIDS just like in cancer, where the American medical cabal have made sure that no tentative cure is found to keep their yearly multi billion dollars chemotherapy business afloat. MODIFIED: For those of you quoting me amiss please learn how to read in between the lines. What I'm saying is that there's already a cure, but they're being surpressed... |
Why is Buhari so weak-minded and a puppet of his own regime? Had he not have Magu as EFCC boss who has refused to join the cabal, this administration would have been more corrupt than Jonathan's. |
Nigeria does not know how to behave like a big brother in Africa. How can you explain that the President and Senate president are attending same occasion? That's ridiculous. We don't know how to act like the boss that we CLAIM to be. The US president hardly visit a country. In fact they've a set of special countries they visit: UK, Israel, Saudi Arabia (because they're holding fort for America), Canada, etc. And UK does similar....... |
I don't mind if I get banned for this. But this culture of posting or bringing to the front page these stories of "PHOTOS of school children killed", "PHOTOS of people crushed by trailers", "PHOTOS of a woman killed by Dangote truck", "PHOTOS of bride and groom killed by road accident", etc, ought to stop. This is not good. This is injustice to the deceased and their family. I've said this times without numbers and I'll continue to say it. Maybe you people will be forced to stop bringing this kind of stuff to FP when a 'big man' whose family member's gory death pictures gets featured on Nairaland FP sues Nairaland and Seun coughs out N100m to settle damages. France is currently prosecuting Ms Le Pen who nearly won last Presidential election, for posting 3 pictures of people killed by ISIS on the Net. |
Just wish we have active pressure groups (Charly Boys group maybe) who could teem up to cause him major embarrassments in each of these states, to send some clear message of Nigerians' anger to him. |
Though I sometimes don't agree with one popular Kayode Ogundamisi on Twitter, but I began to respect him the day he ran a long Twitter thread exposing the corruption that gave birth to the oil block this woman said she claimed by faith (who knows, he may be the author of this one too). They're same Yoruba o, but he nonetheless took her to the cleaners. That clearly shows he's not one of those "she's my person" crew or those who only know how to run mouth against corruption, but suddenly develop cold feet when it's about someone that is from their tribe. We need more of this kind of Nigerians. MODIFIED Dr. Joe Abah is another of such "Twitter personality". |
While Fayose continues to rain hailstones of criticisms and some times, unfounded accusations against the FG, he's intolerant of such against himself. This adds to the list of people he's witch-hunting, including his own party lawmakers. The irony of theoretical leadership. |
Let these soldiers come and be going. The real task of teaching those Fulanis bitter lessons that Benue (and Nigeria as a whole) does not belong to them, lies in the hands of the state anti grazing marshals who have the backing of the law. |
desreek9:Of course I do. Hence the last sentence in my post. |
There's a bit of morality in your post. At least you saw abortion as what it is: murder. But you left out the other part and which is that God is against premarital sex! Because from your post, you were clearly alluding to a relationship between two unmarried fellows. And if the fellows were married, it'll still hold that abortion is a grievous sin in the sight of God. |
I stand with election re-ordering. The era of the bandwagon effect from the Presidential election is over. INEC has no other option than to follow the law after it's passed by the NASS (rejected by Buhari but overridden by two-thirds of both Chambers). |
See who's talking . Former militant-turned billionaire. One of the legacies of the Jonathan administration. |
No country who's SERIOUSLY into the metal industry can ever be poor. The metal industry, especially the steel one, was one of the world's largest makers of billionaires before the advent of the ICT era. The US became rich today partly owing to the wealth gotten from steel (and private citizens such as the likes of Andrew Carnegie, J. Pierpont Morgan and of course car makers Henry Ford were even the ones in charge). Same with Russia, UK, Japan, Australia. Etc. https://z-p3-scontent-ams3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-0/cp0/e15/q65/s552x414/28685719_1742786579114767_3038262057173588784_n.jpg?efg=eyJpIjoiYiJ9&_nc_eui2=v1%3AAeFuFs1vzYN2OsLjw5yDSagpau4FN9CIrVBC5HfcSYwNK8eE6jecFItjLD9mZAH8r8x1AmAMtCqgJHWjdmauT5k3DdR1gnGXMZZe3Dof2mPdg&oh=8f9cbe6b18378edf141d8112b9533d27&oe=5B4A178D |
