michelin89: *yawn* I nor get time for a mummy's boy and will never have. He knows my stand concerning this and still he has told me he'd like to go on. So what? You too David, unsew your trouser from your mama's skirt! Any man will say anything as long as he gets regular free sex. When he's ready for a serious commitment he will dump you. I'm a guy, we've all strung girls we knew we wont marry along before. When the time comes, you go get time by force. Just my 2 cents. |

So thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread. Ok Mich . . . you know me well, i will speak hard truths when they are necessary . . . so here goes - I think you also need to grow up a bit. That's not the way to endear yourself to a man you think you have a future with. A man's parents are very important to him and the earlier you realise that the better. his mom wont go away so you can have him all to urself. Being a gf is not just about having "alone time" with your boi, its about family and friends too. |

samba123: DeepZone…my dear… the Jesus you’re calling is not an Aramaic language that this name exist you might misinterpret how you call this name. try to see those alphabet of the Aramaic if you can find the Letter ‘J’ ‘jay’ within among those written letter in Aramaic and figure it out how come that this name Jesus are you calling are not found in Aramaic word. Aramaic is the sister language of Arabic…a little variant in pronunciation you can hear about that as you voice out the name of Isa(Jesus) in Arabic and Isou in Aramaic sound familiarity when you hear about it. Sharap my friend. when did muslims become authorities on aramaic? You cant even give a correct interpretation of the quran u are busy deciphering aramaic letters. |

javalove: @David
Why are u guys always scared and too bothered about muslims quoting from the bible and talking about Jesus. If we were in a Jewish forum, we would still use the Quran and the OT. Allah did not leave stone unturned in Islam.
I also read in some of ur posts that muslims copied the bible? Ask yourself this simple question: What is in the bible to be copied? this is a most nonsensical post. Afraid? Scared about muslims quoting from the bible and talking about Jesus? The reason i raise the point is because i wonder - - - WHY are muslims SO VERY COMFORTABLE quoting the bible rather than the "complete and last" book of the quran? Why do muslims find it easier to buttress their points with the very bible they claim is corrupt instead of the quran? Why do muslims spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME struggling about the correct spelling of the name of Jesus Christ and so little time on mohammad or other "prophets" in the quran? Why is the bible and Jesus Christ so much the focus of the average muslim? Ever seen christians quoting the quran 24/7? O boy go and sit down pls. Hypocrites. |

spikedcylinder: Another question Michelin,
You say you don't live alone, who do you live with? Your parents? Siblings? Would he (your ex) be right to say they should gerrout for a few days so he can spend a few days with you too? Of course not. What's good for girls isnt good for boys. I'm surprised Mich didnt think about this aspect. whatever90: i like ur honesty jare
yea babes can be unnnecessarily jealous, that one is a fact, because ive been reading michelins posts and she said d woman is not rude or harsh to her, then wats her problem,no honestly wats her problem, its just jealousy i think, because d guy showers his mum wt so much attention, and d mum gets to spend more time wt him dan her wt him
michelin sorry if I'm rude,i really am,but blive me or blive it or not ,look deep down inside of u,if u be truthful enough,u'd tell us that its all jealousy ,nothing else you've said it all. |

Pastor AIO: A while back when I had just joined this forum there was a thread about Evolution (one of many) which I contributed to. Now, it is my position that evolution is undeniable. I wrote a post stating that those who deny evolution should not be given the flu vaccine which is renewed every year. Why? Because the flu vaccine has to be renewed every year for the simply reason that the flu virus evolves, so it changes from year to year. If evolution did not occur then there should be no need for a new vaccine. There should also be no need for new pesticides to get rid of mosquitos. So those that deny evolution should be denied the latest antibiotics and the latest insecticides. this is funny. 1. the flu virus DOES NOT EVOLVE . . . it MUTATES. Those terms cannot be used interchangeably and a mutation cannot be said to be similar to evolution. 2. Producing new pesticides to get rid of mosquitoes is simply because insects can and do develop tolerance to certain toxins. Based on these 2 weak cases you brought up in support of evolution, would you then admit that man is still evolving? For example we know that Down's syndrome is as a result of genetic mutation, we also know that man develops resistance to antibiotics which is the reason you are strongly advised never to stop ur antibiotic regimen midway . . . |

Somebody help meeee! Its not your house so sit down quietly, be respectful to her and leave her son to handle any issues if he's really serious about you. My mom would always ask me if i felt she should leave . . . of course i said yes! Tell your boy to grow up quickly if you still like him. |

More like give her a time when it's just them I understand, but she mentioned the guy is in his early 20s. - first off, it seems he's too young, is not mature enough for the kind of relationship she wants and still depends on his mother to do a lot of thinking for him. - The mother is obviously not convinced her son is ready for a committed relationship yet. |

michelin89: no no! I meant as in engaged. His mum knows I am his girlfriend. Even his friends does. The first time I visited him he introduced me as his girl so that's not the issue. What I am talking about, when I say official, I mean being engaged. It doesnt matter . . . you know how many "girlfriends" a man will introduce to his mother before he finally decides on "The One"? Mothers are not stupid, they can tell when a man is serious about a woman or not. The "girlfriend" tag is no longer anything to take seriously. |

JustGood: Na you sabi maturity abi? The person wey born pikin no sabi maturity. My brother i tire! michelin89: He has asked me and we were even discussing going to live together when I start university but for some reasons I decided we weren't matured enough. I was the one who personally asked him not to speak to any body about it. Even my friends and family didn't know we had such plans I thought making it official would have caused even more concern by the family and possibly riun things. You guys were putting the cart before the horse . . . infact you didnt even have a horse and you were polishing your cart. Why discussing going to live together with a man when he hasnt officially declared you a couple to his friends and family? Na wa o. iceblue: sorry o! no wonder! mumsie won't let him go that easily. forget about him. i no dey like date first born sef. too much pressure on him, and it gets transferred to you. maybe the first borns' you know. |

michelin89: I have always greeted (knelt down) her whenever I saw her. I can't just go and visit her because since he has not made it official that he wants to get serious with me, i don't want to act desperate by licking his mum's ass to get her approval. Afterall he is supposed to make an effort to make things easier between us but just because we have got to meet each other, he thinks he has done even too much. then why do you expect his mom to leave the house for you? As far as she's concerned you're no different from the several girls her son just plays around with. michelin89: Have you taken your time to read the thread? So David are you telling me that whenever you asked your girlfriend to come over, your mum always happened to be around? This is not just a whim, this is using common sense. How do you think a possibly future wife would feel if she is constantly under her inlaw's eyes? Please, give some breathing space. My mom knows i don't just entertain any woman . . . when she happens to see one she knows i must be serious about her and will do her best to give us our space even though she's literarily dying to find out what is going on. you say this guy is in his early 20s, i'll wager 22-23 . . . his mother still considers him a kid and you a distraction. |

na so woman full here. Mich, too bad you got stuck with a man who is tied to his mother's apron strings. But to be honest if i were in the guy's shoes i'd probably react the same way. - Did you take ANY opportunity to get close to his mother? If you did, the mom herself will be the one to ask when you'll be coming so she can give you some space with her son. - Women expect that men should simply dispense with their mothers as soon as they show up . . . not ever gonna happen. My mom didnt initially like my ex when i introduced them to each other but the chic played a smart move . . . she would occassionally visit my mom in my absence, both would call each other at least 3 times a week . . . within 2 months my mom was begging me to marry her. What do you mean by a "typical african relationship" anyway? I find that amusing . . . you think foreign men will send their mothers away for you? |

bawomolo: what's the difference, people disagreed with it along ago. discrimination is discrimination We are going fast down a slippery slope where the views of a minority will be forced on the state. If the electorate voted to ban gay marriage, why are we turning to the courts to overturn it? What then is the definition of democracy? Very soon some will be going to court to overturn presidential elections. The idea that gay rights MUST be foisted on the state BY FORCE is alarming. |
