We just don't know how probable life is,nor if life is so improbable that we may be among the first living things out there or so far. But something we can say is that earth life started almost immediately, a mere 3.7 billion years(earliest micro-fossils) as compared to the earth being 4.5 billion years old. But I won't jump to any conclusions, let the data speak for itself... |

Carlcaresophia:Do you have a centre in Ayingba? I have two annoying scratches on my infinix zero 2 phone.. |
I'm also an escapee from Living Faith Church. |
oluchi557:Here's a simple question, does god give people free will or controls them like dolls? If the former is correct then nobody has been predestined to be your husband and if the later is correct then god obviously doesn't want you to marry now, maybe when you're 70 "your" husband will magically come knocking on your door and swoop you off your walking aides.. . |
Ooga booga people are loose again.. ![]() |
Blakjewelry:Watch "NOVA can we live forever" on YouTube, many people have gotten custom - made 3d printed organs.. |
sinaj:I doubt you know how rigorous scientific methodology is, this isn't a movie where x scientist throws in a bunch of chemicals and a grey living goo comes out. |
oluchi557:Okay then, good luck finding "your" husband that's already getting married to someone else... It takes trust, dedication, patience, and a lot of things to make a marriage work, not a belief that a man/woman is yours... that's as silly as saying poor people deserve to be poor to work to get rich... |
Emusan:It's a derogatory term for a religion(mostly a small one) |
So you think out of 7 billion people, only one of them is "destined" to be your husband? Better wake up from that fantasy and begin working towards finding a person that is responsible enough and willing to love and care for you... |
OLAADEGBU:And is the devil not the first rebellious angel? ![]() If in your logic things cease being gods handiwork' after they change then the universe isn't gods handiwork' since it's changed over the years..lol ![]() |
OLAADEGBU:So by logical deduction god created the devil as a tool to propagate evil... |
Emusan:luckily none, Judaic cults based on a messiah followed several routes and patterns to endure fading out,the surviving cults became Christianity and Islam... |
johnydon22:It's a relic of my not so good childhood.. |
tartar9:Weren't they from the same Judaic cults? |
I've been struggling with social anxiety disorder for sometime now, many people wouldn't know I have it but it has progressed to self-isolation stages... |
Thoniameek:Do you acknowledge the non-existence of the christian god? |
FOLYKAZE:Pathetic... |
Misanthrope:You mean weak atheism, because strong atheism presents a definition of the god rejected. |
FOLYKAZE:* Yawn I'd hardly see it that way as compared to a person that has to equate terms to present his case, all in all another empty post. Your attempt to twist my words wont work here. I didnt say at any point that god-belief is figurative. What I said and pointed out is that illustrations, stories and accounts of God which depict God as human or personal entity are figurative. You can chase your tail all day, it only shows how low and depraved you'd go to present your case. No one is talking about God belief here. Believing in God is different from accepting and acknowledging in it existence. I am emphasising on the later from the general depiction which postulate God as human.@bolded, The funny thing about equivocating terms is that you end up sounding like a slowpoke... can a belief in god(god-belief) stand on its own without an acknowledgement and acceptance in the first place? or are you going to sheepishly label god "limestone" this time? All Gods are personal. They have human attributes and forms. However, they are not human but representation of an entity which exist as Force, Natural entities and Idea.Really? What happens to the pantheistic and deism god concept? You've trolled yourself off here.. The foolishness of atheism like you and finofaya are looking out for human or person in God which is figurative while leaving out what God is expressing in it context. What's really foolish here is you keep running around in circles, you keep trying to claim the notion of god has a specific context and when asked you'd keep mute and continue trolling. You always prove to me that atheism is nothing but noise of people who cannot justify some religious belief. Your ignorance and hypocrisy stinks to high heaven.*Yawn Another empty post, I'm not even sure if you actually read your own posts nor understand what you're saying. 1. I have provided Christian, muslim and judaic view on the personhood of God. Non of these three religion agree at any point in time that personhodd of God is factual or present it as fact. They are agree that personhood of God is metaphoric, analogical and figure of speech.Again, you equate the general definition to the practise, practitioners of those religions whom call themselves "believers" would allege that those "metaphors" are true accounts, hence they believe. The christian said there is n person called God in the sky or at any place in the universe. That you are blind to see real facts and deceitful to reject facts does not mean others will fall in line with your foolish deceitful trait. The theology speaks for itself, and so far it speaks of ascension into the clouds and firmaments of waters in it, so you can keep deluding yourself and chasing your tail. 2. Anthropomorphic element is an analogical representation of an existing element.Again, when you equivocate too much you end up contradicting yourself and making a fool of yourself... (below is a highlight of your post) Anthropomorphized entity is simply a figurative illustration of an entity. It is more or less personification of an object. The object could be illustrated in drawing and painting, stories and literaturesSo which does it express? real entities/elements or figurative ones? 3. This issue has already been justified. You may have problem with other doctrines which believers hold too but the existence of God has been justified by various religion theoloian. You can either keep typing empty assertions or present them here... something that's been justified can be easily presented, so where is the presentation for god? These God exist not as human as depicted but as a natural entity, force and idea.Natural entity like what? poo? sand? You keep begging the question and again you're chasing your tail. You are the one cowardly looking for dirt in distilled water under the tag of justification.A classic case of a persecution complex... it's no wonder you keep chasing your tail. The entirety of your post is pure garbage, either you equate in one section or outright try making an empty claim in another... Spirituality is one. Religion might try to dilute it but it does not change. You can do some research rather than sitting your dumbass waiting for foly to define spirituality for you.You definitively have a diaper rash, you made this claim, "Spirituality is not vague", but when it comes down to backing that up with an objective definition you'd run off and tell me to research the term. ![]() |

FOLYKAZE:Your reply here is just a bloated piece, the point I can find you trying to make is that "Atheists are foolish" because god-beliefs are figurative... In reality,god-beliefs are figurative expressions of mainly anthropomorphic elements that are presented as factual and it is this claim that the atheist rejects and disbelieves until evidence to justify it is presented. And again, you're a juvenile troll in that you'd say "spirituality isn't vague" and go on with your strawman without presenting an objective term that best describes it...so have fun with that... |
An2elect2:Nice trolling, you know the Internet is a white-man's invention right? #hypocrite |
FOLYKAZE:You've been trolling here for far too long and have adopted a childish equivocation argument as your sole post.. When deciding whether something falls into a certain definition, all traits shared by members agreed to fit it are highlighted and used to accommodate future inclusions into it.. So right now the traits agreed in a god-belief involve anthropomorphic entities that may/may not exist in human form, may/may not exceed human lifespans and may/may not be believed to interact in nature and may/may not possess the capability to express it's own intent in one form or another. So redefining a god-belief that is generally regarded and categorized using the above as maybe a "hat" or "car" is not only disingenuous, it is a juvenile equivocation fallacy. Plus "spiritual" is a vague term also.. |
So you just realized the Bible is fallible?.. |
Misanthrope:I believe agnostic Atheists would still fall into that category since he/she does not posit who/what or how a god/gods is' but leaves it to be defined by the theist before giving any reply on belief, so the term "god" is vague and no different from "ooga booga" to agnostic Atheists.. |
Many factors are involved, but it's safe to say it starts from indoctrination, that-is : Indoctrination means teaching someone to accept a set of beliefs without questioning them. http://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/indoctrination So what happens when someone is indoctrinated into a religion that promotes violence and harm towards others?... Since the belief can't be questioned and is used as a source of morality, then any heinous action can be justified with it.. That is the main reason nations that promote religious indoctrination(of violent religions) have higher crime and mortality rates as laws aren't based on secular ideals that can be discussed and changed but from a view that must never be questioned(else face the consequences attributed to disbelievers) Then we have the promotion of racism, where just because you accept the theology, you're automatically labelled "superior" or "above" everyone else and so everyone else is beneath you and is deserving of whatever action that is permitted that you inflict on them based on theology. So if enslavement, beheadings, torture, etc are permitted then the believer follows without question, due to indoctrination. From there we have the promotion of ignorance, where those who "obey and ask questions later" or "obey before complain" are prided as disciples that each believer should follow.. So a religion that promotes or favours blind faith would have followers that are eager to perform any action(including murder) since it's prided as faithful obedience.. All of this revolves around indoctrination into a belief, and since a belief is regarded as a basis for how we interact with people and the environment, then it influences our actions to correspond with what is taught in the religion as moral or expected of you as a believer. |

This is the problem with Nigerian youths, they possess a zealous mob-like mentality, two men can't sleep in the same room anymore without some retard throwing flimsy accusations, and sometimes a mere accusation is all it takes to get killed in Nigeria. |
wow, epic ignorance on full display.. From investigating, this isn't your first post of idiocy, lol... adewaletb3:https://www.nairaland.com/2570410/just-kind-confuse-how-white |
