Again...dolphinheart,OLAADEGBU will never agree with you because gotquestions.com and answersingenesis.com disagree...they are his bible and god...

This is what happens when a christian is brought up by fundamentalism...no more bible approach to answers...only X website + X role model = Bible...

Nigerians on Twitter didn't go on a rampage with all the rape cases going on, it's two full grown adults in a consensual relationship that's a problem...

Its obvious you can go to any lenght to defend this disgusting way of yours on a faceless forum like Nairaland but lack the temerity to come out in the open to identify with this unclean and perverted way of life in this clime of our country.
Is there any "coming out" to do when I'm not gay?...or is the gay detection app on your device malfunctioning? undecided

Whether you are willing to change or not is not my concern, but be aware that its because of your likes who inhabited the cities of sodom and gomorrah that attracted Gods wrath in the form of rains of fire and brimestone from heaven for the destruction of everything in the city.That incident is a strong pointer to the fact that its a perverted way of life and as such would be detested and not be accepted by any sane people.
hahahahahahahahahahaha....city of what? smiley Why not tell me where Hogwarts in Harry potter is too! grin

I only tried to fault the logic used in your earlier statement that people having various interpretations of a story/event or thought does not necessarily mean there is no truth to be found therein. The Bible never claim to be a scientific or history book so it should not be expected to give details of history it tells. It is meant to form a system of beliefs and preach the superiority of its beliefs. But to say the Bible's account is not even a consideration in telling a historical event accurately is totally wrong when many historians, archaeologists etc has testified to its historical accuracy in so many instances.
Okay....please tell me which historian verified Moses writing about his own death... smiley

The biafran war is just about 50 years old and many of the major and minor players are still alive. But if you bring them together you would have over a 100 versions, by the time you add nairaland people to it, the interpretation becomes 1000+. So what is the truth of the biafran war, does the fact that there are 100s of version mean it never happened or there is no truth in the war.
The biafran war isn't any spectacular claim, wars happen all the time....and all wars have each sides' take in the war(subjective view) with each promoting a certain view of it...the difference is the evidence....one has left scars physically and mentally and in our history books and the other is a collection of Jews who already accepted preconceived notions of certain tribes each compiled into a holy book and decided which verse to be considered scripture(leaving gaps in related stories)...so the bible's account is not even a consideration in telling you any historical event accurately because it is compelled to offer a narrative of belief...

Foreign Affairs › Re: Mozambique Scraps Ban On Same-sex Marriage! by davien(m):
This is a wonderful improvement...perhaps there's still hope for humanity...but I'd like to clear up a few misconceptions...

#1 Marriage is not a religious act at all, it is the state considering that two or more individuals are or have become one unit and are responsible for each other...the state can give said permission to religious people and sites like churches, mosques, Jedi temples, dudists,etc...

#2 Heterosexuality is not the default sexuality in most chordates,but it is the most common, other creatures like the Mexican whiptale lesbian lizards have to engage in s.ex with their fellow females to reproduce after the males went extinct..so if you're a fan of god/gods,why did it/him/her change it's mind 2000+- years ago?...or was it a human homophobe that inspired divine texts?.. undecided (I'll link this to an earlier post
https://www.nairaland.com/2410708/tb-joshua-reacts-new-gay/4#35250019

)

#3 Marriage is a right that has to do with consent...and also has to do with human rights...sadly we that claim "holier at thou" still have child marriages, death marriages, inheriting late wives,etc....this doesn't bother anyone here....but two grown individuals that willingly want to spend the rest of their lives together is a problem? undecided

#4 Open display of homosexual acts doesn't make you gay...I remember my early Schooling and could tell you that back then people freely expressed themselves freely...I saw a great many gals being explicitly attracted to other gals and boys being attracted to boys....it's not the perverted "sex,sex,sex,sex" that everyone or most people routinely think these relationships are about....they actively care about themselves like another pair or couple would...and today I have a girlfriend...so why didn't my interaction with them unleash a "gay demon" on me?... undecided

#5 Stup.idity isn't good...I'd hate to call anyone stupid but there comes a time when one needs to have a rethink over certain issues and have a balanced mind....as an atheist many people think of the phrase "there are no gods" as my catch-phrase, but it isn't....it's basically I don't believe in god/gods because of the same reasons you don't believe in other god/gods...they are either silly,not based in reality and at worse change ones perception of reality to a hostile one...like this homophobic thing...
So now, some things need to be considered when thinking about homosexuality for heterosexuals....like;

Can you wake up one day and instantly reject pu..ssy indefinitely?... grin

Can you also stop divorced prior from marrying, stop eating jerky and shrimp and mixed fabric like the bible also says?

Can you kill your own family member if you found out he/she was attracted to the same-sex if nothing appears to "change him/her"? undecided

#6 Why aren't people bothered with asexuals that do not even find sexuality appealing at all, nobody is screaming "death to asex" or "adam and eve,not adam alone"?....afterall most arguments people use against homosexuality can be used too for asexuals and it'll still be nonsensical... grin

Because something is atypical doesn't make it bad or sub-level...

If you detest homosexuality on religious grounds and believe your god/gods created every living thing then why not ask why some creatures like the Mexican whiptale lizards(an all-female species) reproduce by engaging in homosexual acts.. undecided

KingEbukasBlog:
funny guy

read your post again and check if you make any sense . God's existence and ways are beyond human comprehension . Faulting His actions just confirmed that His ways are indeed beyond human comprehension . Disagreeing with this post , doesn't change anything.

Christians are irrational for believing in a higher power/supreme being but atheists are rational because there's "proof" something came from nothing ... lol

"God" is actually that point where there is something that nothing predates - makes total and complete sense to me

Cheers
what's really funny is that to make your belief less crazy you'd resort to lying....this is what usually happens when you push a theist to the wall....

How does my atheism imply any belief? Or conclusion....does not believing in santa claus means I accept thor? undecided

This is the cowardice of some theists, in which to make their beliefs less absurd they'd have to lie or make funny accusations to do it...
