I have been studying and trading crude oil lately or since the beginning of the month, and I finally got a bit of understanding why boss gabsonfx doesn't trade forex anymore, I am amazed and wondered by gold and crude oil. those are money making machine, only if you understand their language. everything that I want and desire in a woman I find it in gold, crude oil and US30..(typo error 😜) I am seriously thinking about dumping currencies because I feel they're too slow compared to commodities and indices. but I must warn you that they are very dangerous,, I've had painful ordeal with em, some of which I've shared here on the forum in the previous month. I may start posting my charts on crude oil too... but one thing I will share with you is that my biggest break through on gold came when I stopped trying to day trade it. when I began to focus on the higher timeframe (monthly chart to the 4h chart) with the mind of looking for an opportunity to swing it, some how it sort of clicked for me, I still feel like I have been lucky with gold recently but time will tell... I ain't gonna give up .

morning folks, I'm still holding on to my gold buy because price is above 2009 at the moment which was my target last week, I am anticipating price to take 2020 as long as it remains above 2009. cheers to all the bulls on gold, let's milk her well cus Xmas is around the corner

#update on EU long trade;
price is up and at 1.0945x, as I had said yesterday that I would be swinging it, if it hasn't reached my target. Seems like I will be holding this trade over the week as my target is 1.0965x which is the DOL on both the daily and 4h chart... cheers to everyone

What an endless quest of 3 months and 2 weeks . $200k evaluation challenge passed, making it total of $350k for TFT account, it would have been a total allocation of $550k if MFF did not close, in all, all glory be to thy lord.. This account really stress me cuz of Max drawdown of 6%, was risking only 0.35%..

Messed up big time .... Closed out on a good trade due to fear.. Jumped on a bad one coz it looks almost risk free... I knew I was in trouble when I couldn't place those trades on my live account .... Taking a break till next month again.. Meaning I have just december to do 13% .. I have failed to Situp... Usoil rallied down after I exited my short.. Eu rallied down immediately I enter my buy.. 3%DD

I still believe oil short is still valid as OPEC postponed their meeting which was scheduled to hold this Sunday to next week, 30th of November to be precise and as a result of that, crude is tanking at the moment...

Gold update.
I jumped out of my gold buy because I was too focused on the lower timeframe and because of the correlation it did today, but after looking at the daily and 4h chart I saw price made a very small imbalance on the daily chart which is in confluence with a 4h imbalance where price is being supported at the moment, so I am on the sidelines waiting to join the bulls if my trade model shows up. So I am still very much bullish on gold...

There's a famous saying that says, where there's a will, there's a way... and that has been my mantra all through my life. bro laptop or not, you can still make good analysis using your phone. yes of course the chart that you see through phone screen is too skewed and limited. But dude you gotta make do with what you've gat. I have a laptop too, but my laptop is broken and I ain't gat maney for repairs but that ain't gonna stop me from trading... because my reason to succeed is so strong that no matter what my present situation is, it won't deterr me. I analyse and trade with just my phone, I don't enjoy it because it is limiting but I am not discouraged because I have come to terms with my present circumstances and I will keep on fighting until I succeed. So bro don't give up or wait until you get a laptop, you have been doing well so far, so keep on pushing on. The road to success is never easy. cheers mate...💪

I believe that's the catalyst it's waiting for at the moment, and you can see that both gold and US30 are ranging at the moment as if they are waiting for something, if the data comes out lower, we could see the dxy plunge down while gold and US30 soar on the back of this news release,

Yes you are right boss, US30 is ranging now, but I am also having confluence from both SP and NQ, as SP just break above the equal highs on the 30min timeframe while NQ has also break above the high of the 4h FVG in which it has been ranging.
I could be wrong though but I'm open to learn.

So folks, 2mao is greedy bastard day, and the stock indices is ripe for the taking because the bulls are about to take a leap in the markets, overall, there has been a correction across the 3 major stock index, with the SP500 and Nasdaq sitting in a bullish imbalance on the 4h chart, while the Dow is just a few inches above a bullish OB on the 4h chart. Now looking at all 3 index on the 1h chart, I saw an SMT divergence with the SP and NQ making a lower low and Dow making a higher lower. there has been a bearish expansion (correction) in price delivery on both SP and NQ, while the Dow has pretty much been consolidating, this tells me that smart money has been accumulating their long positions on the Dow index... And also earnings came out bullish for Nvidia today at market close which should act as a catalyst sending all index especially NQ North, and lastly we have the US jobs report tomorrow by 2.30 pm, a red folder event with a lower concensus than the previous, if it does come out lower, we could see the DXY tanking while xxxusd and indices gaining ground on that event. So come tomorrow, I would be looking for an opportunity to long us30 especially if closs above 35150.xx level. that's it guys for now, pls do remember to trade responsibly and also I definitely could be super wrong as the market may not concur to all the jargons I wrote above as Powell no be my papa...😅😅😅

He is taming, learning and mastering gold's behavior, it's a niche he is carving for himself so; once mastered, he should add US30...by then, his appetite would have become golden.
