i grew up in the Maimalari Barracks in Borno State in the late 80's . Fara is superb delicacy that people in Maiduguri dont joke about. They catch it particularly late at night when the weather is cool. The grasshoppers are mainly brownish in Color with tough calcarous exoskeleton .

Pls don't discourage a potential farm owner because of the present high cost of feeds and feed ingredients. Am a FULL time farmer and we have been doing fine. U just have to adjust the cost of your farm produce inline with your cost of production (inputs)
