did you know what they found in his car

Don't judge like that
The simple thing was to arrest him and take him into custody... Charge him to court and allow the law sentence him!!!

HEAVEN4444:
Listen if you sell me a phone for 2 million naira you have to be able to guarantee that you will not create another phone for 3 years so as to maintain the value of my expensive stock and give me time to enjoy it and bask in the ambiance. You can't just create another phone in 3 months time and render my phone obsolete. It's like buying an expensive stock and then the insiders crash the stock and now the stock you are holding has no more value. This is criminal activity. I refuse to pay 2 million naira for a phone unless you can guarantee that you will not create another phone for the next 3 years
What they do is that they allow you to trade in your phone for the latest device at a little extra cost...
Their own type of 'buy now pay later' makes it easier to own the latest device without stress.

It is over here we have to cough out millions Everytime to upgrade

Well, in my opinion... this supremacy issue is thrash and rubbish.
So, let me speak about courtesy... 'A fellow high ranking king walked over to greet you; courtesy demands you stand to greet him in return as a fellow high ranking King'

But, we are in Nigeria where we like proving supremacy either in a subtle way or otherwise.

This is not only peculiar to the Yoruba kings...

Here's a cleaned-up version of your text:

---

This is a screenshot I took on October 19, 2023, showing the price of a 2008 Toyota Camry.

In just two years, the cost of the same car has nearly quadrupled.

Even those who bought theirs at that original price can’t resell it for anywhere near that amount now.

What is really going on—and who did we offend?

---

Would you like it to sound more formal, emotional, or casual?
The incessant rise in the cost of cars is no longer due to the exchange rate... But greed on the part of car dealers

So I have been seeing these temu adverts flying around on several social media platforms and I decided to give it a try. I ordered some items from them since on the 6th of April and up till now, those items are yet to get to me. I have tried tracking it and it shows it is with the courier about to be delivered to my location. That's the message I am seeing close to a week now.
When I tried contacting Temu, their reply was that they are just an online store with no physical office, that my items will eventually get to me. I don't know what to do, no phone number nor email to reach this courier people.
What do I do at this point?
I once ordered on Temu to give it a try and the parcel was delivered to my address.
Your parcel will be delivered to you as a have formed a partnership with a Nigerian owned courier service.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Got A Federal Appointment, Resigned From My Job... And Now I'm Hanging by dawnomike(m): 10:30pm On May 01, 2025
Odaolivia:
Good evening Nairalanders,
Please permit me to share my story anonymously because I need advice, and maybe, just maybe, someone here might have experienced something similar or can help.

In May 2023, I received a long-awaited federal appointment offer from a top government financial institution. It felt like a dream come true. The offer letter clearly stated that I had to resign from my current job before documentation, so I did.

At the time, I was working with a leading commercial bank. I had stability, was on track for confirmation as full staff, and was doing well. But I made the tough decision to resign because I didn’t want to disobey the instructions in the appointment letter. I believed that better things were ahead.

Unfortunately, that belief is what’s hurting me today.

Since then ,no induction, no documentation, no follow-up. Nothing.
The management of the institution changed shortly after we received the offer, and since then, it has been complete silence.

I’m not the only one. There are many others like me — young Nigerians who resigned, relocated, and gave up good jobs or businesses for this opportunity. A few are now depressed. Some haven’t recovered financially. And worst of all, we have no official statement telling us whether to keep hoping or move on.

Right now, I am unemployed, struggling, and confused.
Did I make a mistake by trusting the system?
How do I explain to people that I resigned from a bank job based on a federal offer that never materialized?

This is not a pity post. I’m just tired. Maybe someone here knows what we can do, or whom to speak to.
Please, if you’ve ever experienced something similar or have helpful advice, I’m listening.

Thank you for reading.
Sorry about your experience... I really understand how crazy this feels.

You just have to pock-up yourself and move on cos that appointment is no longer coming except a miracle happens.

Try to secure another job and get on from there.

There has been a debate on who wins between a gorilla (probably a silver back) and 100men.

So who do you think will win?
All the 100 men are dead meats provided no weapons are used.
