Hello Everyone.
I am looking for a serious investor or a partner for a pig farming business.

I already have a fenced space in my compound suitable for piggery.

I can mixed a proper feed, and have all the materials needed, and the mixed formula I'm having has been verified by a vet Dr from NVRI vom, plateau state.

I have the ability to build the pig house.

What I need.
The capital to buy 3 female piglet and a male. And also to do a pig feed business with locally agriculture waste.

The plan.
The pig would be raised to market standard.
I would handle feeding, day to day care and management.
And since, I know how to mixed fixed the proper feed , we would also sell feed at a cheap price.
We can agree on a fair structure.
This is an opportunity to any one who is interested.

Note. The feed processing part makes sense because I'm using waste!!!!
Thanks
How much are you looking at to start with and where is your location?

Good day Nairalanders,

Where you there, this is for us that went to government school, not for those that went to private school, with Air condition.

I didn't experience this in my SSS days as I'm a science student, we are not much, sometimes, we might even be in either physics or chemistry lab for a whole month, thats where we would recieve all our lectures..

But you see when I was in junior class, ah, with all my over writing names and design, thats when you will see that they have stolen your desk or chair and use blade to scrape your name or design off and put another design on it..

@mod where you there

Trust me God works in a miraculous way, i had a package to deliver tomorrow but told the person i am
traveling and i will need to deliver her package today.

around 1pm i got to the hotel and was waiting for the person to come... while waiting i decided to go to the pool area and that was when the whole scene happened.

Unknowingly someone has drown under the deep side of the water for over 20min or more. so i heared his friends searching for him and that was when they told a girl swimming to check if someone is there and she said yes. i decided to jump into the pool and believe me this guh is long gone, i pulled him out and was doing cpr, both blood and saliva was gushing out of his mouth and he started breathing again. his friends took him to a nearby hospital and they all can't keep thanking me for savings his life.

i just want to thank God for using me because i believed he saved his life and not my power. another thing i noticed was, normally i don't dive in pool coz when i do i always have like instant headache but this time nothing like that, i could hold my breath longer and even go down the 8feet deep water to raise a body and still swim up. something i can't naturally do.

this is only Gods doing and i can't stop thinking about it. Glory to jesus
All I can say is THANK YOU and may God bless you

Demigod22:
My girlfriend came around last Friday and stayed till Saturday. I went through her phone with her permission, of course. I didn't see anything serious. Out of curiosity I checked her chats with her sister's fiance, I saw some uncomfortable messages he sent to her. He sent messages like WHEN LAST DID YOU KISS? HAVE YOU BEEN IN LOVE BEFORE? SEND ME YOUR PICTURES, SEND ME VOICE NOTE, CAN I BE YOUR VAL OR I KILL MYSELF.

This man is in his early 50s and my girlfriend is turning 22 next month. He is even a divorcee, he come to their house and everyone respects him.

From their chats, my girlfriend didn't encourage anything, but the only issue I have with her was when I asked her why didn't she tell me the man was hitting on her? She said she thinks IT'S NOT IMPORTANT. And I asked if she knew what the man is driving at, she said SHE DOESN'T KNOW.

I told her that since she has the power to decide what's important and not, she can handle her affairs, and her elder sister would be very proud of her when she eventually finds the chats. She has been trying to be extra nice and downplay the whole situation but I just told her life no hard. Let's just catch cruise.

This man is telling her that she should be a good girl for him and he will spoil her, when he returns to Nigeria, he will take her out more often. The fact that this girl is pretending or acting to be ignorant of this old man's intentions is what turned me off.
Well, only time will tell... But, if na me sha; I ho don dey plan my exit strategy except convinced otherwise!

Agriculture › Re: From One Rabbit To A Business: My Journey Into Rabbit Farming by dawnomike(m): 7:24am On Mar 18
mightiersa:
I’ll keep this story as real and direct as possible. No sugarcoating—just honest experience. And as you read, feel free to ask questions. I’ll answer them along the way.

How It All Started

I never planned to become a rabbit farmer.

In fact, I had never even thought about owning a rabbit—until one day, I visited a popular animal market in Ibadan. That visit changed everything.

There were rabbits everywhere. Different colors, different sizes. At that time, I didn’t know anything about rabbit breeds or farming. To me, they were just small, attractive animals.

Then I saw one.

A young, all-white rabbit.

Something about it stood out. Calm. Clean. Different.

Without overthinking it, I bought it—just as a pet.

I named it Superwhite.

My First Lesson (The Hard Way)

Superwhite quickly became part of the house.

It was gentle, playful, and loved moving freely around. Watching it hop around brought a kind of peace I didn’t expect.

But then… reality set in.

Superwhite chewed everything.

Doors. Furniture. Wooden edges. Anything it could find.

That was my first real lesson:

Rabbits are not just cute—they are active and destructive if not properly managed.

The Turning Point

Instead of getting frustrated, something else happened.

I became curious.

I started observing.

I started asking questions.

And before I knew it, what started as a pet slowly turned into interest… then passion… then vision.

That was when I made a decision:

“This is no longer just a pet. This can become a business.”

Transitioning Into Business

Once I made up my mind, I knew I had to do things properly.

Keeping rabbits inside the house was no longer an option.

I needed:

Space

Structure

System

Building My First Setup

I started small.

I constructed a simple shed using wooden stands and covered it with corrugated roofing sheets. It wasn’t fancy—but it worked.

Then came the most important decision:

Choosing the Right Housing System

I went for metal mesh cages.

Yes, they are more expensive than:

Wooden hutches

Free-range systems

But here’s what I discovered:

Metal mesh cages offer:

Better hygiene

Easier cleaning

Lower disease risk

Better growth performance

Long-term durability

That was when I understood something powerful:

Cheap can be expensive in farming.

My Cage Structure

The cage I purchased had:

3 layers

4 rabbits per layer

That gives a total capacity of 12 adult rabbits.

Interestingly, it can hold even more when the rabbits are still young.

This setup became the foundation of my rabbit farming system.

What Rabbit Farming Taught Me Early

Even at the beginning, I learned lessons that many people overlook:

1. Start Small—but Start Right

Don’t rush to scale. Get your system right first.

2. Housing Determines Success

Poor housing = disease, stress, losses.

3. Rabbits Multiply Fast

If you’re not prepared, they can outgrow your capacity quickly.

4. Passion Matters—but Structure Matters More

Love for animals is good, but systems make money.

Why I’m Sharing This

I’m sharing this not just as a story—but as a guide.

If you’re thinking of starting rabbit farming:

You don’t need to know everything at the beginning

You just need to start and learn fast

Because sometimes…

All it takes is one rabbit to change your direction.

I will continue the story tomorrow talking about how sourced my parent stocks, challenges and disease management....
Nice one!!!

Do well to mention me in your next post. T for Thanks

Back story:
This land was secured after fighting tooth and nail from a wicked uncle, who ironically is called Chinwetalu.

Since the court victory, it was decided to quickly erect a structure on it to avoid future issues and today while the workers were digging, around 50,000 snakes were discovered on the land.

The boys took off and work has paused for now.

Elders with experience, should construction go ahead or is there something that needs to be done to cleanse this land?
The land has been a snake colony for a long while... Purchase lots of firewoods, soak them all in petrol. Spread them across the land and set them on fire.

After 2 days, follow up with fumigation of the land.

They just installed electricity meter on our yard and the meter given to us carries a back log of 2.5 million naira for the whole yard. We got to know this after the free unit given to us was exhausted. We related this to the landlord and he said that there is nothing for him to do. We went to Nepa office and they asked us to pay 150k for some units for some days. The house is so hot at night and the children are suffering. A similar incident in a neighboring street made the landlord arrest his tenant for disconnecting light of the whole yard until his own is fixed.
I don't want to take laws into my hands yet, I want to ask how do I go about this.
Sends a detailed mail to your electricity distribution company about the incident... Ensure to copy NERC in your email.
PRINT out a copy of the mail and send to the PHCN office in your arrear and tell them NERC is on the matter. Leave the rest to God and NERC!!!

Ensure to always follow up with NERC in your issues
