With that amount of spendings on top class players and managers and crews, these clubs are not champions, but collosal loosers in the history of football!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Ironies Of The EPL High Spending Clubs. by daylae(op): 12:17pm On Dec 06, 2012
Celtic squad that qualified for the next round of the UCL cost £15m.
- Chelsea squad that didn't qualify cost:
£350m.
- Man City squad that didn't qualify cost:
£400m.
And They are called Champions hahahaha

Man City became First English Club to be kicked out without winning any games.

And Chelsea became the first defending champion to be crashed out of the GROUP stage. lol

CultureLet's Know Your Nationality/country Of Resident. by daylae(op):
Since nairaland is certainly not for nigerians home and abroad alone,we have people from different countries, and those that also have their ties with nigeria in different ways. . . Let's know your nationality or/and country of resident so as to ask questions about issues like culture and and,so as to be educated about certain misconceptions and vague ideas about where you from.
Foreign AffairsRe: Let's Have Your Questions Here: Ask A Cameroonian? by daylae(m): 12:25pm On Nov 30, 2012
Nayah: I can answer this daylae, good morning though, actually Cameroonians are known to be very hospitable and welcoming as the majority of Africans and Nigerians are our neighbours. Now yes some people got clichés and are distant from Nigerians thinking they do bad things like stealing, drugs dealing etc...but most of times they'e living peacfully in our counrty
u a cameroonian? Why i ask this is that,in nigeria,we have so many cameroonians, and you'll hardly know they are foriegners cus of the way they are accepted here and blend into the society. Most got their spouses here and are not less treated as citizens.

Stealing, drug dealing and sorts are not dept to nigerians alone, you sure have cameroonians, ghanians e.t.c who do these things to in nigeria and outside. The problem is that when they are caught, they claim to be nigerians. Because of the stretch disparity in population,in every one or two instances of cameroonians doing these odds, you'll get quite a good number of nigerians doing same.

solomon111: well to have such amount of electricity, you need huge amount of gas from the niger-delta.
Unfortunately, some yoruba idiotts think the SW is self-sufficient.
Let the yoruba ethnic jingoists, power lagos by themselves.
don't turn this into some ethnic squabbles. . . And yes, that will be helpful to met the future demand. . .but other alternatives are there. The ongoing eko atlantic city is projected to source for power independently for example.
TravelRe: The Growing Beauty Of Lagos (pics) by daylae(m): 4:42pm On Nov 27, 2012
With the growing pace at which the city develops, the time is now to embark on a sustainable power project to meet the surging rate of development. At least lagos should be working on generating nothing less than 10,000mw of electricity in view of future demand which must be the case, and not wait for the federal govt.

get sent off and still earn their pay. . .sometimes even take the major credit for a job well done.

k2039: If I'm the boss I will fire him/her

If I'm a co-worker I will do absolutely nothing.I am there to work for my pay so also is the lazy co-worker
yeah, probably the best option. . . But you also have the responsibility to do something if such idleness is affecting your own work, especially when you working as a team;if not, you'll be the person taking-up multiple tasks. And such people are quick to calling you names like "workaholic".
CareerHow Do You Cope With A Lazy Colleague At Work? by daylae(op): 7:34pm On Nov 21, 2012
Do you work with a person who doesn't "pull his weight"?
Perhaps he wastes a large part of the day playing games, or talking to friends on the phone. Or, maybe he takes extra-long breaks, and he's happy just to do the very minimum task.
If you work with a colleague like this, then you know how frustrating it can be. Working with someone who's lazy is always a personal challenge, but it can also lower the productivity and morale of everyone else in the office.
However, if you're not that person's boss, is there anything that you can do? Do you simply have to tolerate this "rogue," or should you confront the situation head on?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Roberto Di Matteo Sacked by daylae(m): 4:36pm On Nov 21, 2012
The last UCL was won by the worst team in that competition>>> Chelsea fc. . . probably the luckiest spree in the history of football.

And they've failed to proof otherwise to that assertion.
Christianity EtcThe Bible And "The Human Touch" by daylae(op): 11:15pm On Nov 18, 2012
Is it not amazing that some 40 men, writing in a number of lands over a span of 1,600 years, produced a book that is completely harmonious in every respect and that contain a beautiful, consistent theme?

Divine inspiration did not take away a writer's individuality. In fact, personal effort was required to pen God's message. The writer of the bible book of ecclesiastes, for instance, stated that he"sought to find the delightful words and the writing of correct words of truth."(Ecclesiastes 12:10) to compile his historical record. The gospel writer luke"traced all things from the start with accuracy,to write them in logical order"(Luke 1:3)

Some bible books reveals facets of writers personality. For example, matthew levi, a tax collector prior to becoming one of jesus' disciples, paid special attention to numbers. He is the only gospel writer to record that the price of jesus' betrayal was "thirty silver pieces."(Matthew 27:3;Mark 2:14) luke, a physician, accurately recorded medical details. For instance, when describing the conditions of some of those whom jesus healed,he used expressions such as "high fever" and "full of leprosy." (Luke 4:38;5:12;Colossians 4:14) So God often allowed writers to express themselves in their own words and style;yet,at the same time,he guided their minds so that the text was accurate and conveyed his message- Proverb 16:9. "The human touch" is a prof that the bible is writen and guided by truth.
