Was that a question or rhetoric? |

Just got to see a good amount of ma kredit vanish overnight this morning. . . .are they just piss of me,or this is some kind of general MTN snafu again?!? |
Though the economy comes first with the electorates, which the two candidates have not done enough in convincing they have the magic to. The foriegn policy issues should be a bonus for obama in this debate. . . Forget the syria crisis, china's ego, north korea's threats, and benghazi attack, situations like these have always been there, romney won't be able to nail obama in a coffin with these. Unless obama is yet 'too polite' this time again. |
vislabraye: You sound like you have a complex.a better-than -none complex. |
Oww, RIP!! She was on WWTBAM and proved to frank and her two accompanning celebrities she should be the one answering those questions and not them. She had to rescue them a couple of times. No doubt, she was one of those rare educators. |
pazienza: Awolowo tried to usurp belewa's govt but went scot free, he did the same with gowon's govt, but karma caught up on him. what other evidence do we need to prove that this man was power drunk?not everytime you get a coup alert there's actually one. . .such claims are mostly made to get rid of imminent adversaries. |
mpumalanga: During the Hutu genocide against the Tutsi, you had some moderates from them that voiced out for humanity but during Yoruba genocide againstanother twist. . . To you the civil war was an inter-tribal reprisals like the hutus and tutsis? Yoruba genocide against the easterners? That's a huge joke! |
aryzgreat: they chickened out and wholeheartedly allowed and welcome hausa soldiers to use their base to wage war against d same people they pledged neutrality before. so much for gene cowardice!allow to use their base? Wasn't the west part of nigeria, a constitutional territory of the central government? |
demmy: This is the crush of the matter. They are still to learn how to take responsibility for their actions instead of blaming others for their woes.I don't even know what deal they had with yorubas to acheive their bogus ambition, that you hear them crying betrayal!. . . If they've decided to hold on to their past failures, showing resentment at ofts, then how can they take their place in the polity. |
aryzgreat: ur coward fada! is a chamelion and and a fool, Ojukwu cannot be ambitious cos he had better chances of making it to the top by supporting the status quo, but he choose to side and sympathise with his people and save them from the jihadist agenda and yorrober backstabbing plan. Ojukwu can be likened to Jesus who though was God, became man dat we may have life. Ojukwu was stinckingly rich, also at the top of his career at such a young age, so what ambition are u talking about? Awolowo is the ambitious coward here and he didnt hide his ambition to rule his fada but nemesis and karma showed him d oda side of them. Awolowo is a capital foooooooool!. Your stupid savior ran away, leaving your granpas to suffer, eating themselves for survival. . . .if you really want to blame someone for iboo misfortunes, check inward. . .yorubas are too busy succeeding. Maybe the renegades that sold u out was even from your clan. |
aryzgreat: So unfortunate dat this topic didnt make it to d front page, hence my coming late, be dat as it may, i thank d likes of ACM, dede, ikengawo, rhymz for holding forth and tell d world the truth as Most respected Prof Chinua Achebe has pointed out in his memoir. Are you being real? Oh,maybe you just too emotional. . .and that i understand. . . .but blame ojukwu for being too ambitious, subjecting his kinsmen to such fate. . . . And i wonder what sophistication you've achieved. |
Fresh Attacks In Plateau, As More Than 130 Corpses Litter Deserted Villages Posted: July 11, 2012 - 01:18 By SaharaReporters, New York SaharaReporters has learnt that more than 130 corpses have been found in two deserted villages in Barkin Ladi local government area in of Plateau following fresh attacks by out- of-control killers. The gruesome discovery came barely two days after two top politicians were killed by gunmen as they attended a burial ceremony for numerous victims of a mass slaughter. A security source told SaharaReporters that displaced persons seeking refuge at different locations have disclosed that more than 130 corpses currently litter several villages affected by the worsening crisis. Our source added that emergency workers had yet to reach the areas most affected by the carnage owing to a lack of security. An eyewitness source in Jos, the capital of Plateau, revealed that gunmen had sacked several villages. “These gunmen have stormed different areas, engaging in sporadic shooting and burning of houses,” he said. The source added, “We became aware because the news reached us before we could go to pick the death bodies of our relations in other villages.” |
Had my childhood at housing estate, ojokoro lag;and went to corolla int. sch. I remembr going to sch wit lot's of comics like green lantern, flash, incredible hulk, superman etc. . . and boasting my dad is one of the super heroes. Won't forget the day i was being pushed by a friend while playing football during the break period, landing myself in hospital icu for weeks cus i fractured my jaw. I 'll never forget setting a trap with the help of my 'little rascal' friends, unfortunately a gramma was the victim, landing the old woman in the hospital. Will not forget my brodas and i sneaking later into the sitting room for the late night movies after being asked to go to bed. My first love letter was a group one, written by my friends and i to a girl. Her mum got to find out(it was a total disaster);but to my surprise, she later replied to our latter, giving some of us a good news, and others, the bad one. Am glad my childhood wasn't taken from me. . . that i didn't lived it an adult. . . |
sigh of relief. . . . Amen o! |
That of jonathan is striking. . . . Its evident that grace has brought him to where he is today. . . . . It sure gives to us what we don't deserve. |
sad! this seem to be the only news we hear these days. . .oh!and of course some other mallams who believe not in taking their own lives in jihads, but rather fighting the holy war in a grand style, fatning their own pockets. . .and those are the farouks. |
Kobojunkie: When I board a plane, I don't think much about how old it is. I mean it may come as a shock to you but many people don't go researching the age of the plane they are scheduled to fly on, is. They don't obsess about such things because they know that is not the primary matter. Kobojunkie: Again . . . .probably because commercial airline operators don't go telling their customer how old their planes are before flying. But should you have the oppurtunity,i know you'll make a wise choice just like many others will. You sholuld know by now that am not rulling out the issue of maintainance, but it will get to a stage where even a high level of maintainance done on an old manchine will be insignificant due to depreciation, and the incompatability of new spare parts with the manchine. We have BA operating in nigeria too,and how many times have you heard about their planes nose-diving from the sky? Or do you think DANA AIR wouldn't like to purchase new plane too? Check the yrs of those ill-fated planes over the decade, and you'll figure out that all are more than 20yrs old. |
Kobojunkie: Again . . . .both equally maintained, will you rather board a 40 yr old plane or 10 yr old one when travelling, and you are given the chance to choose? Be realistic! |
Kobojunkie: There are planes over 40 years old, flying elsewhere on this same planet. These planes are generally well maintained and are yet to crash. You folks should stop spreading this senseless rumour that it has to do with age. In cuba, most 99% of the cars there are over 60 years old, but they are well maintained and drive like new. Compare them to the less than 20 year old messes that ply Nigerian roads to this day?well, there are few things that are usually responsible for planes falling from the sky: >human error(either from the manufacturers, maintainance engineers,or the pilots etc)>bad maintainance>the age of the plane(due to depreciation)>bad wheather. But the age of a plane is a prime factor, even with good maintainance. No matter how beautifully you patch an old cloth, you can't turn it into a new one. Why do you think that old and tired planes are bought to fly in our skies here? Its because they are less expensive, which shows they need high level of maintainance that sadly are not given. let's start from purchasing planes that are at least less than ten yrs old,and with good maintainance, you'll see how drastically air casualties will reduce. |
The plane must have been certified to be safe for operations,so boeing has no case to answer. And for crying out loud, the 'flying coffin' was said to be over twenty yrs old,and sheer ineptitude and greed of our airline operators is sure a major cause of our one too many plane crashes in recent years. These planes are delibrately subjected to ill-maintainance so as to cut business cost, whereby playing 'russian roulette' with innocent lives. And our airline regulators are just as guity in this crime. I understand his grief, and the least he could do is taking a law suit. |
ochallo: What exactly is this guy doing?like the wreck site is some kind of monument. |
All looking so vibrant and charming. . . God rest their souls, and give their families the strength to cope with life without them. Sad! |
Integration from Late adolescence to early adulthood (17-21). This is when they go out into the outside world (college) to explore. Any teen has no home training (sexual, relationship, etc) will end up making a breaking-mistake. Very challenging because parents will have to throw them out there, hoping they make wise decisions in all they do. But of course, as humans, we all make mistakes, some more than others.
i have to agree with you 17-21 is very critical, where parent have no choice but to leave them to make some sensitive decision on their own because is not that possible to guide such decisions. But parents who are quite successful with their kids in their early to mid teenage years(13-16) are furtunate. Their children have good propensity of surviving outside amidst all pressure. |
'll say fifteen. . . .By then,a teenager is already looking forward to finishing high school, having alot of things in mind to explore without wanting to adhere to certain 'rules' at home and school. Sturborn, wild, and too confident, trying to convince the parent he can make decisions on his own without being guided. Keeps alot of things from the parent, doubting and challenging their judgments, rather, confiding in friends who are obviously going through such adrenaline rush. . . . . looking back,'ll say that described when i was fifteen. |
If this was staged by the SSS,it was to discredit the sentiment(s) behind the BH's idea of winning strong solidarity from some gullible jihadists who will be willing to go suicidal with their lame course;the man's name is enough to make would-be BH members wonder and question the fact that the so called 'infidels,' who are supposed to be targets are now potential recruits, posing inconsistency. . . .someone is playing a mind game. Other possibility is that he probably picked the name from somewhere . |
'll never forget "the mercy project" she did 2002 or thereabout with martina mc bride and some others. . . Adieu. . . |
You guys shud stop nodding eachother, who cares whether he's from kano, oshogbo,or abakaliki;the bottomline is to fish out these mephistophelian whatever pit they are concocting evil. |
Good investment. should take the loan. . .in no time profits 'll be rolling in. |
It is understandatble for africans wanting to clinge to getting higher degrees in the US so as to attain and maintain a respectable status in a society where they are considered ALMOST secondary(after the "whites-supremos",prefared latinos and asians). It might just be an edge,or at least a way of ensuring survival. ![]() |
Zelinjo:as long as u can get the gist, no problemo. |
I see a situation of ever ensuing reprisal attacks until it turns into a full-fledge civil cogmire. The marriage that gave birth to nigeria in the first place is a ruse. |
