Alaba_Slim: DKNY i know the history dat NAZI HITLA had wit bayern munich (favoured bayern ma$$ively) ova 1860 munich cos 1860 were against his regime & he pounced hard on them jus lyk he did to the jewz.
You got your history upside down

Bayern was founded by Jewish people and hated by the nazis

Bayern were founded in the bohemian quarter of Schwabing, and were very much a Jewish club before the second world war, with a Jewish president and a Jewish manager. As a consequence, Bayern were targeted by the Nazis but players and officials continued to defy the regime with small acts of personal courage.

Bayern were discredited as a Judenklub by the Nazis but resisted its cooptation. In 1934, Bayern players were involved in a brawl with Nazi brownshirts. Two years later, the Bayern winger Willy Simetsreiter made a point of having his picture taken with Jesse Owens, who enraged Hitler by winning four gold medals at the Berlin Olympics. The full-back Sigmund Haringer narrowly escaped prison for calling a Nazi flag parade a "kids' theatre", and the captain, Conny Heidkamp, and his wife hid Bayern's silverware when other clubs heeded an appeal from Reichsmarschall Herman Göring to donate metal for the war effort. The most symbolic act of defiance occurred in Zurich in 1943. After a friendly against the Swiss national team, the Bayern players lined up to wave at the exiled Landauer in the stands.

Afam4eva: ^^^
I think you're going off tangent. It's a normal practice in state civil service in Nigeria. It has got nothing to do with intolerance. Can a Lagos indegene got to Oyo and become a governor or can a sokoto man go to Kano to become a senator just because they're of the same ethnicity?
That is entrenched in the constitution that before you can become a Governor or vy for electoral post you must pass the "indigeneship" test.

Just like a Ghanaian cant become Nigerian president just because we are West Africans

flexyonline: Dayo so you agree that your five years in Ife chemical engineering was a complete waste? It added nothing to you to differentiate you from a school leaver?
Now to your question after Ife I worked in a Bank. The skills I used to get the job and the work I did there had Nothing to do with my Chemical Engineering training I received from Ife.

Infact after SSCE I could pass that Maths and English test and perform the banking duties.

Most people who work in banks would tell you the same thing.

You work in a bank, as a marketer earning 300k How did your degree in Physics help you in that? You work in a Bank as a teller How did your Mechanical Engineering help with that? Infact in some banks OND's perform the same role

In other job functions I have done after tha Banking experience I have applied some stufs I learnt as an Engineer but many of my colleagues have been bank workers since then and never used any Calculus, Numerical analysis, navier Stokes, Nor Runge-Kutta methods

This doesnt have anything to do with my own post.

My own post is that over 70% of Nigerian graduates suffered from ASUU strike

Infact my 1st 2 years, I don't think I went 4 straight months without any interruption. It was either :

ASSU
Internal AASU
SSAANU
Strike due to cult wars grin
etc
I went to Ife so i probably suffered more than you regarding strikes and closures. I guess we the ASUU victims are the less that 10%
PoliticsRe: Tribalism At Lagos State Pensions by dayokanu(m): 7:20pm On Mar 07, 2013
Its either of two things, Onyearugbulem was probably showing the intolerance in his genes and his people which was also shown by Theodore orji

Or the whole story is w lie.

Yorubas are not intolerant people

How many times do you see a Oyo vs Ogun thread or Ekiti vs Osun thread like we see regularly Anambra vs Imo, Enugu vs Anambra

or "The inferiority complex of non Anambra Igbos"

Intolerance is not in Yoruba genes thats why our regions are the most accommodating to non indegenes. If we can tolerate non Yorubas does it now make sense to discriminate against Fellow tribesmen

Billyonaire: Seun, why dont you shut down this site if you hate to hear the truth ? The fact that 90% of posts are hidden is an indication of awareness of truth. What legacy will you leave behind ? ...That you own a communist style forum ?
A lot of my posts were hidden that told us the true state of Azikwes burial ground But I dont come here to moan like you menbitches

Its not surprising since most of you tie wrappers and the women are the ones working
PoliticsRe: Tribalism At Lagos State Pensions by dayokanu(m): 7:12pm On Mar 07, 2013
Afam thats a lie.

Are you saying Navy Captain Anthony Onyearugbulem an Ibo man sanctioned the expulsion of non indegenes from Ondo when he himself is a non indegene?

Kay-Dee:
If less than 10% of Nigerian graduates alive have ever been affected by University strikes then it means over 90% of Nigerian graduate went to private universities cos in my era, all federal and state schools went on strike like no man's business.

I spent over 1 year (cummulative) on the sidelines due to strikes.
Leave am Make he dey feed us Garri and Sugar.

In my area we even organised Leagues during ASSU strike for students who are at home from ASUU strikes

Afam4eva: Provide links for what happened in the 90s? We're talking about Abia because it just happened recently and because Abia happens to have one of the dumbest governors in the history of Nigeria.
Those tales are false.

When Osun split from Oyo Most Osun indegenes moved to the new states because of the new opportunities and it would provide them a chance to move higher up the new states ladder. No one in Oyo State made a law to kick them out

In the 90's where we have Military regime? Which Military regime would tell non indigene to leave when even the governor is not an indigene? And one of the principles of the Military Administrators is National integration

Afam do you have to tell petty lies?
PoliticsRe: Tribalism At Lagos State Pensions by dayokanu(m): 6:43pm On Mar 07, 2013
Afam4eva: Ondo, Ekiti, Enugu, Rivers, Kano, Imo etc. These states did it when they were either carved out or another state was carved out from them.
Provide links with these news. Or should we just take your words for it?
PoliticsRe: Foreign Degree & The Nigerian Mentality by dayokanu(m): 6:42pm On Mar 07, 2013
AjanleKoko: More like 100% actually.

1992 - 2 months.
1993 - 5 months.
1994 - 5 months, all the way till January '95.
1996 - 6 months
2001 - 3 months
2003 - 6 or 7 months (i forget)
2007 (or 2009, not sure) - 6 months.

That is the one I can remember.
Why it is not 100% would be because of UNILORIN graduates, private University graduates, and some Graduates during Jelili Omotolas stint at UNILAG in the late 90's
PoliticsRe: Tribalism At Lagos State Pensions by dayokanu(m): 6:39pm On Mar 07, 2013
Afam4eva: So many states in Nigeria have done it at one point or the other. Does it mean that all states are hostile? And must working in the civil service be the determinant of whether or not a place is hostile?
Give examples of states that have done it. And sacking non indigenes from the civil service is one of the worst form of discrimination you can ever find around. I am sure if any Yoruba state or lagos did it Your people would be whining all over
PoliticsRe: Tribalism At Lagos State Pensions by dayokanu(m): 6:35pm On Mar 07, 2013
Afam4eva: I think some other people will also have their experience of been retained in the east. And what do you mean by the south-east hostile environment. Can you elaborate? Are you referring to a particular place or have you experienced this in all the SE states?
Just recently the Abia State governor sacked all non Abian from the civil service is that not hostile?
PoliticsRe: Foreign Degree & The Nigerian Mentality by dayokanu(m): 6:18pm On Mar 07, 2013
ROSSIKE: First of all you are exaggerating again by relating all Nigerian degree courses to ASUU strikes. Probably less than 10% of Nigerian graduates alive have ever been affected by an ASUU strike.
I think the bolded is a lie

Over 70% of Nigerian graduates under 45yrs have been affected by ASUU strike
