Anybody still remember Dr. ohanomah of chem Eng and che201 7.00am class.I remember when he broke an Aluta curfew to come to class.Report has it that he used the money meant for personal car for a computer system instead. He would jogg from staff quarters everyday to his office in academics. We reported him to the student union official and they promptly block him from entering academics, He had threatened to do test then, does he still have the highest CGPA in IFE ?
Did you grad from Chemical Engr too?? Ohanomah is with Shell last i heard and i think his record has been smashed a couple of time in Chemical Engr dept

Bashorun Gaa shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

The man who caused for a quick succession of Alaafins before he was defeated by Alaafin Abiodun. The man was a despot. Ojo Aburumaku was the only Kakanfo who took a position held by his father but also the only Kakanfo that fought no battles/wars. Latosa also took the title from him through a show of strength by demanding the staff of office.
Ojo Aburumaku of Ogbomoso fought no battles, there being no wars during his period; the change that has taken place in the country left the Ibadans at this time masters of all warlike operations. But in order to keep his hand in, he fomented a civil war at Ogbomoso which he also repressed with vigor.

Bayern Munich and FC Basel 1893 have agreed the terms of a transfer deal for 20-year-old Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri. The 1.69 m / 5 ft 6 in midfielder, who completed his obligatory pre-transfer medical in Munich this week, has signed a four-year contract with FC Bayern, dated from 1 July 2012 until 30 June 2016.

“We’re delighted we’ve secured the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri, one of the most sought-after talents in European football,“ commented Bayern director of sport Christian Nerlinger.

“Xherdan’s intelligent play and dribbling skill will add to our team’s strength next season,” added FCB head coach Jupp Heynckes, “I’ve been observing him for a while now, and I’m convinced he can become a very important player for FC Bayern.”

The player moves from Switzerland to Germany for an undisclosed fee

Benjamin Adekunle was forced into a wharf traffic warden by gallant boys from Biafra. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the photograph of diminutive and wide-mouthed Adekunle directing wharf traffic under the intensive heat of the sun. Till today the wide-mouthed punk from Ogbomosho had never recovered from the post traumatic shock received when he was demoted from GOC to wharf traffic warden.

Car Talk › Re: Why Are Nigerian Car Dealers So Greedy?! by dayokanu(m): 6:28pm On Feb 09, 2012
dayokanu:
I am not a car dealer, I have never sold a car to anyone but I have shipped cars to Nigeria for Family members

OP, I can buy you the said car for $6,000 but you would come and drive it in America. Deal? cheesy

By the time you add Towing to Port + Shipping cost $1400 from places like Texas

And clearing cost from Nigeria What do you have.

I think some Nigerian buyers are unreasonable I once had a friend who told me he wanted to buy a car from US, I gave him the website to go and look for cars that he wants and send me the link.

He went there and sent me cars that are sold for less than $2000, Honestly do you think any good car would be sold for $1200. I mean a car worth importing to naija.

Next I opened the link and I saw that the seller said there is a "Check Engine light". I called him back that didnt he see it? And he told me yes he saw it but it doesnt matter that they have a way of removing the Light in Nigeria. Imagine shocked shocked

I told him not to worry that he can find someone else to buy him the car. I am not a dealer and cant go to Abilene like 5hours drive to but a $1600 car that has a check Engine light on to ship to naija.

Another person would have bought it and sold the car for cheap. The car would have fault down the road and you would start cursing.

If something is dead cheap, Most time watch out.

NB: Also because someone bought a car for $5000 doesnt mean the next person would buy it for the same.

What causes difference in car prices are the same for all items.

Different dealers sell the same cars for diff prices.

cars cost differently in different states due to demand and supply.

Shipping cars from East coast e.g Florida, baltimore isnt the same as with somewhere like Texas or California

then the season you are buying cars makes a difference. If you are buying cars in the peak of the tax season i.e February-March, Its usually more expensive than during later in the year.

During the tax season, more ppl have disposable cash and can afford to bid higher for cars vs when Money don finish

Some dealers might be dubious but you need to put all these things into consideration

E.g I heard the cost of clearing a Lexus IS 250 in Nigeria is over 1.5m, Imagine how much you would clear an SUV

OP and Eze ndigbo Nairaland,

I have a different proposal.

Given the importance of Malam Abdul-MUMUni Ojuku, the burial should be in phases.

He should first be buried for 2 years in Israel the land of his fore father since he is a Jew  cool

After 2 years exhumed and taken to Abijan his adopted home and where he ran to  wink

Next, exhumed and he should be taken to the headquarters of cross-dressers in the world since he was the first recorded crossdresser  sad

After another 2 years taken to the compound of Benjamin Adekunle the man who sent him to exile  shocked

After another 2 years take him to Zungeru his place of birth  smiley

After another 2 years dismember him and dump the remains in Atlantic ocean so that the known cannibals wont feast on it  embarassed

Lastly his manhood should be given to Patience where she would make it live on

This is my submission

Singing for girls who came to Awo

"You are HIV carrier, You are HIV carrier, We know you are, we are sure you are, you are HIV carrier."

Basics007:
Awo hall gave me the best moments of my life in that school.
Remembered the day i passed under block 1 and one fool poured water on me. I looked up and shouted,'tani oloriburuku to da omi le mi lori?'(who is the fool that poured water on me?). Instead of the silly thing to apologise he replied, 'tani were ti ko je ki omi mi dele yen?'(who is the mad man that didnt let my water reach the ground?). I was dumbfounded.
I didnt know you went to Ife.

Something similar happened to another guy. He was walking and someone poured something on himand he yelled "Were wo lo da omi simi lori"- (Which mad man poured water on me.)

Respose- Ma binu o Ito ni o (Abeg no vex, na urine)
