Honestly I think Balotelli is a marked man. Whatever he does gets scrutinised.
Vs man Utd when he showed his undershirt of "Why always me" he received a yellow, This is a gesture lots of players do regularly even When Van Persie did the same thing yesterday he wasnt booked

You forgot to add that they were only able to beat Otelul Gulati

Mybe your unbeaten run can be extended to the Europa league

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by dayokanu(op): 4:47am On Jan 24, 2012
Fergie would have taken it seriously?

What else didnt he take seriously?

Elimination in a group of Otelul Gulati must be a new low in CL history

In the 59th minute, when Torres poked a clear chance wide of the post, Did he get the supply from Cech?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by dayokanu(m): 4:41am On Jan 24, 2012
WHo played behind Torres in the game?

In games where Lampard played, you claimed Lampard was behind Torres, Now that Lampard is out do you mean Lamps position is now vacant
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by dayokanu(op): 4:39am On Jan 24, 2012
Theres no shame in being eliminated in a group of Benfica, Basel and Otelulu Galati?

You cant be serious, That is the easiest group in the competition and you got knocked out

If you had been in Bayerns group nko? Yours would have been worse than Citehs
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Offical Bayern Munich Fan Thread: 6x Champions Of Europe by dayokanu(op): 4:27am On Jan 24, 2012
Isnt this shameful that a fan whose team would be playing the inferior cup of Europe after being found wanting in the premier competition can come here to make noise

Bayern is tired of beating Man Utd. How many times do you want us to beat you? Aint you ashamed of yourself
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Pride Of London by dayokanu(m): 4:19am On Jan 24, 2012
^^ Are you sure you watched it? The glaring miss where he couldnt hit target was whose fault?

In the last game thankfully Lampard barely played they played Mata you campaigned for behind him yet he failed as usual

Governor Christie: Newt is not going to be an embarassment to the GOP, He is already an embarasment to the GOP

Newt Gingrich: If you have been campaigning for president for 6 years and you see it slip away you become desperate. Mitt Romney has graduated from Pious baloney to desperate baloney.

Mitt Romney: I have been in leadership position just like Speaker Gingrich but Speaker was forced to resign and was disgraced out of the Senate

Rick Santorum: I dont know how much Newt Gingrich paid John King to ask him that kind of question but it surely was a lot of money.

Ron Paul: The problem is that I cant even separate the 3 other competitor

The gloves are surely coming off and they are fighting it bare knuckled
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Would Be Obamas Opponent In 2012 by dayokanu(op): 3:50am On Jan 24, 2012
TayoD,

You have to understand that in 2008, Obama came out as the new guy, The voice of change and a lot of people fell for that.

Very few people could have beaten Obama then, The Obama movt then was like an emperor, an inspirational leader Like A Lincoln.

4 years later a lot of people don't view Obama the way they saw him in 2008. Now many are disappointed even the Democrats. Minus the presidential camaraderie and power of the airforce one, Obama is much weaker now than in 2008

That is key and you need to capitalize on that Loss of confidence.

Fielding a Newt would make people start thinking of the lesser of two evil.

Barack is dissapointing but can they vote for Newt? An unfaithful husband, a temperamental and combustible character, A speaker who was "shamed" out of the house?

topsywest:
Late Umaru Yar'adua.

Unfortunately, the cold hands of death snatched him before he could do anything meaningful. He had good intentions for the country but his ill health which his wife and members of his kitchen cabal took advantage of, stopped him from achieving much.

He was the BEST president Nigerians never enjoyed. Please see below:

1. Declared his assets upon assuming office (A feat no politician ever achieved, not even his vice then (GEJ) did it)
2. Handled the Niger delta issue without much ado/impasse
3. Reversed anti people policies like fuel hike and shoddy sale of Nigeria's refineries and other assets by Obasanjo
4. Had a mind of his own and made it clear to Obasanjo that he wanted to maintain that
5. Was HONEST enough to admit that the elections that brought him to power was flawed
6. Not desperate for power. Promised not to run for re-election should the supreme court nullifies the election that brought him to power.
7. Abhors profligacy. Left over $50 billion in our external reserves at the time of his death ( which his succesor squandered within 15 months of being in power)

This is my position. and I resolutely stand by it.
Criticisms to the points above are welcomed!
I completely agree with you on this

yar Adua is the best followed by Buhari, and 3rd Murtala

The worst is Odechukwu Retardeen Jonathan, followed by IBB and 3rd is OBJ

Tobechi Enyinna Onwuhara, a convicted felon, is wanted for his alleged involvement in an elaborate scheme that defrauded the financial industry out of tens of millions of dollars. Onwuhara is a key member of a group of Nigerians who allegedly have been conducting fraudulent banking activities from Florida and Texas, since 2005. It is alleged that the group has been using online Internet databases to steal victims' identities. Once acquired, they allegedly use the victims' information to gain access to the victims' Home Equity Line of Credit accounts and wire transfer the money to accounts mainly located overseas, some in the United States.

REWARD
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Tobechi Onwuhara

Nchara, whats your real name? Cos all I have to do to make this 25k is to point Fibi to your address
@pres-elect,

I know conventional wisdom dictates that it takes Romney to beat Obama but I disagree. Tell me, what is the difference between Romney and McCain who lost to Obama 3 years ago? You cannot be more moderate or "sane" as you put it than McCain. Afterall, it was the same argument the same conventional wisdom gave us 3 years ago and it ended up failing.
As for Newt being one of the "crazies", they called Reagan worse because of his stance as a conservative. Conservatism wins any day and that is what Newt confirmed in the last primaries, all despite his huge flaws. Romney can neither articulate what he stands for nor express conservatism in an attractive way. He will surely depress the base and will certainly lose the so-called independent vote to Obama. I am more convinced of Newt's chances than I am of Mitt.

Lest I forget, Newt's chances of stealing a lot of Democrat's votes is much higher than Mitt's. Afterall, many Dems will mistake Newt for a Democrat going by his history of illicit relationships! grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
3years ago ppl saw Obama as a breath of fresh air and a sharp departure from Washington which drove many Independents to him.

But now, A lot of independents are disatified and even the democrats arent so sold on Obama anymore. Thats what the GOP should capitalize on.

Bringing a Gingrich into play would only excite the core republicans and tea baggers. The Independents would view Newt as too extreme and his private life is something Obama can campiagn against.

His tenure as speaker which he was disgraced out,
his several broken marriages and loose lifestyle would lose him a lot of women voters
Also his connections with Freddie Mac where he profited like 1.6m as a lobbyist for the company.
I'm sure the media wont hesitate to paint Newt as a grumpy old man.

Even Rick Santorum said that Newt is a very risky candidate whose temperament is too unpredictable and can explode anytime.

Newt is the better debater but when you are contending with someone like Obama who can easily rile you up with snide remarks. Newt is a risky gamble cos he might say something out of turn

A choice of Newt might agitate erstwhile lukewarm Democrats to vote against Newt

Many Independents would consider Mitt but Newt would be a hard sell

If you want a keenly contested race then it has to be Barack vs Mitt

If you want the Dems to steamroll GOP then bring Newt

And how many of these jokers are relevant to anything serious concerning Nigeria? Somebody impersonating the president and someone talking about the Arab migration of Yoruba people?

So what will the division between North and south be based on? Religion? That will mean the whole of Kwara, parts of Benue and Taraba and even some states like Oyo will be with the north. Southern Nigeria is just a miniature Nigeria only with more moderate muslims. How will the competitive nature of these groups be changed?
How brainless. Well its coming from a Igbo not surprising.
