How many women are Children were in Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

How many women were in berlin when Soviet soldiers attacked

How many women are children were killed in Iraq and Afghanistan

How many women were killed by Biafra soldiers in the midwest?

This is someones account of what Biafran soldiers did in the midwest yet no one is coming here teary eyed crying that the opponent didnt observe the end of round recess
They thought war select which to kill out of the enemies at sight. They never knew guns pelted at random and that tanks reel in succession. They thought war was like fight 2 hrs then go back to cook, shower, visit mall, friends and then come back in another 6 hrs or never. WW 1 was thought to have ended before Christmas of 1914. The thought of Allies and Axis. But it never ended until 1945. Those of you that beat the drum of war on NL, may be you don't know that some people career is just to do that, like the Great Black Scorpion, "eni sango ba tojue wole, oni tohun oni bawon bu oba koso".
Wa sere omoluabi.

you are a fool, you think you lot are anything in that union, let me tell you Yoruba are the last people to worry about when its comes to military power, you make so much loud noise mean while nothing.

Yorubas are the last to worry in Military power because we have people like Benjamin Adekunle who knew how to reduce Biafra and Ibos to rubbles

"I want see no Red Cross, no caritas, no World Council of Churches, no pope, no missionaey and no United Nations delegation. @ Dayokanu - those world war2 cases you mentioned were before the geneva convention that gentlemen officers have lived and fought by. But if you want to examine them note that japan's imperialistic aims had seen them overrun china, philipines, pearl harbour among numerous others and I hope you know the japs were robot like suicide troops who would have fought till millions of lives would have been wasted. As for the sacking of berlin, the german troops refused to surrender and had to be mopped up house to house. Since then all has not been fair in war. There were wars going on in vietnam and though there were atrocities which occurred mainly because it was largely a guerilla war, no sane american commander could have come up with that statement.
How come the Nazi Germans were tried for war crimes commited Pre Geneva convention?

How come no one has been tried for war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Japans aim was to bla bla bla and the next thing was to Nuke the civilian Population?

I wonder how Ibos reason for real

The war was between North and east yet Biafran soldiers didnt invade the north, Rather they came to Ore in the West, I am sure someone might come here and say they were trying to go to Kano via Ore.

You cannot hold him to a higher moral standard than everyone else.

Boggles me mind that anyone can say he is a war criminal when the US dropped two nukes on Japan, the US locked up all of its Japanese-American citizens in internment camps, the British firebombed Dresden, etc.
I watched the Russian invasion of Berlin on the military channel and I knew what war was about. You need to watch or read it.

germans were fleeing preferred to be shelled by the Allied forces than to be captured by the invading Russians. The women of berlin were raped sore. yet no one went for war crimes.

War criminals are usually those who lose the war

Do you know what war is about? All is fair in Love and war. Benjy understood that, Great generals understood that

That is not a joke. Ojuku was scared shitless that he bailed out sharp sharp under the cover of darkness

@ Dayokanu - if he wrecked biafran troops then that wouldn't be an issue. The bone of contention is the statement that the OP quoted. I think you are avoiding the issue. We all know what war is about and that's win win win. I don't think you ever heard anybody picking issues with Shuwa and his command. Shuwa did 100 times more damage to the biafran army but he was an officer and a gentlemen though many igbos will take me up on it. The difference between him and adekunle is that the black scorpion was an eye service man pure and simple. Do you know who shot the nigerian soldier that killed nzeogwu after his capture - shuwa. Geneva convention aside when you declare in an INTERVIEW! That you don't want red cross etc. it shows that the man was trying to show off for the benefit of whom I may ask
He was showing off for the benefits of Ojuku.

When Ojuku heard about Black Scorpion he changed his army uniform and wore Wrapper and Gstring next thing he is in Abidjan leaving the millions to suffer

Adekunle made that statement for two reasons. Firstly he was trying to do eye service for the northern establishment for promotion and favour. As a short man he is prone to overdo. Secondly he was an ignorant barbarian. If you study the statements of even the northern commanders in the war zone you will always see statements that were never overboard ( I stand to be corrected on this point)
When you go to war, the motive is to completely destroy your opponent

Benjamin Adekunle understood that That was why he wrecked the Ibo soldiers

Roosevelt understood that, That was why he nuked Japan.

Stalin understood that, That was why he utterly destroyed berlin

But our Ibo commentators think war is Play Station

Quote from: 1 Samuel 15:2-3
Thus saith the LORD of hosts ,  go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and Bottom
.

This was what God ordered to be done to the enemies.

Some ppl understand wars some dont. Benjy did understand what war was about. that is why his name is highly reverred in the Eastern part of nigeria now

if any child is crying and he hears the name Black Scorpion he stops immediately

Even the trees knew him

What happened was genocide simple and short. War Crimes were serially committed and no one was brought to book. Total food blockade against that led to the death of millions of civilians is a war crime.

The statutes of The Hague (October 18, 1907)  gave examples of such war crime violations (article 3) as:

Wanton destruction of cities, towns or villages, or devastation not justified by military necessity

Attack, or bombardment, by whatever means, of undefended towns, villages, dwellings, or buildings

Seizure of, destruction or wilful damage done to institutions dedicated to religion, charity and education, the arts and sciences, historic monuments and works of art and science

Plunder of public or private property.

The tribunal defines crime against humanity as crimes committed in armed conflict but directed against a civilian population. Again a list of examples is given in article 5:

Murder

Extermination ( Emphasis mine: Extermination by mass murder before the war, bombing of exclusively civilian quarters, and the final straw : THE FOOD BLOCKADE)

Enslavement

Deportation

Imprisonment

Torture

violation

Persecutions on political, racial and religious grounds.

Genocide is defined by the tribunal as "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group".

WHICH PART OF THE LISTED CRIMES WERE NOT COMMITTED AGAINST BIAFRAhuh
What part of those crimes were not commited against berlin in 1945, against hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, against the midwest in 1967?

Adekunle the war hero
