Or why would a Dokpesi, former campaign manager of IBB 2011 decide that he is now supporting Goodluck?
The same Dokpesi they claimed bombed on October 1? What happened to the October 1 "IBB bomb blast"

^^ Every goal in Germany is 0.25 of an EPL goal. cool

The record of the likes of Santa Cruz prove it, while ex-EPL players like Robben get compared to Messi when they get to Germany. grin grin grin

Even poor Dzeko seems to have forgotten how to score. cheesy
Debo pay attention to details
Santacruz scored 28 goals in 6 seasons with Bayern
Santacruz scored 30 goals in 4 and half seasons in EPL
Debo someone told me you are an engineer, At this rate I am starting to think you never stepped into school.

Thanks bros for this. I wholly agree with you except for where you said that NCNC was a Yoruba party. NCNC started as a National party with ideals for pan Nigerianism as strongly espoused by Marcaulay and at its rebirth, under Zik, the same principles were espoused. Their over-riding passion was to free Nigeria from the shackles of the whiteman. It never was a yoruba or Igbo or even a southern party but was a National party till perhaps after the carpet-crossing incidence when it then tended more to the East.
Look at the list of officers in the NCNC that Katsumoto posted

Herbert Macaulay - President, Azikiwe - General Secretary, Oyeshile Omage - Financial Secretary, Dr Olorun-Nimbe - Treasurer, Onojobi and Ogedengbe - Auditors, Akerele and Odunsi - Legal advicers

Only Zik was the non Yoruba in it. Would you say that was a non Yoruba party? I believe the ACN and APGA tagged as ethnic parties of today are not even dominated at the top in that manner by any group

NCNC at inception had a lot of prominent Yoruba sons in it.

It was founded by Herbet Macauley and well supported by Yorubas, I would say If NCNC had presented a Yoruba man to be premier People like Fadahunsi, Benson, Ogunsanya etc. There wouldnt have been any reason to cross carpet.

^^

Exactly,

Now when the rich man now calls them gold -diggers they go up in arms.

Why do women see marriage as a way of getting out of poverty? If the woman was the one making 17k per month I doubt if the guy would come and put up this thread.

Now if the guy in question now makes money tomorrow, WOuld you advise him to marry the same girl who rejected him when he was broke?

Compared to if she had stuck by him and built up together.

Do you think men are foolish? EVen the legendary MKO Abiola had a special place for his first wife Simbiat whom they grew up together from being penniless and placed her on a different pedestal from the gold digging women who came later

My thoughts exactly. They marry the man for his money. Do they think the man is stupiid enough not to know that is the reason she married him? He then treats her & her family with little respect.

It is the same money he used to catch her is what he will use to catch a younger and firmer model in the university campus. It is then you hear them consoling themselves "at least he comes home at night" " he sends me to Dubai" " he bought me a jeep" . . . . .

Then they go out one fine afternoon and bump into the Mr Poor that they dressed down 5 years ago and discover that he is now even richer than their so called moneybags husbands.

I agree, 17.5K is not a lot, but with a capable, industrious and devoted woman beside him coupled with his ambition, his handwork, his optimism & the true genuine love that they share for each other the17.5k can go a long way. We are also talking about a country where one phonecall or presenting one business card can open numerous doors

IMO, the girl should have made it quite clear from the beginning that the guy wasnt good enough for her rather than carry on with the relationship. Why wait for a proposal before dropping the bombshell? I think that was just plain wicked.
With this post which agrees with what I have been saying all along, I dont see any reason why we should disagree again.

When I make statements about Nigerian ladies, You would think I am being malicious but posts from girls on this thread have proven me right.

Females like you are in the minority

Thanks Kwame.

But I ask you which one would be more representative of Africa, SA, Ghana or Nigeria.

Its like someone wants to help out a poor neighbourhood and you only show him around the hotels and palace.

Kwame I would be in H-town this weekend, Can we meet?

Politics › Re: Help bring Digital Libraries to Africa! by dayokanu(m): 7:07pm On Feb 15, 2011
Kwame,

We are looking at 5 locations and the motive is to bring this to AFRICA,

If it can work in a "no-infrastructure" Nigeria it would surely work well in a "functional" SA and Ghana.

E.g If you are trying to dig a well, WOuld you dig it in the dry season or in the rainy season?

If you dig in rainy season then you wont know the real challenges. Do you think the SA seen at the world cup is representative of Africa?

Buhari took over government on December 31 1983. So is he responsible for 1983 figures?

In 1984, Assuming a govt starts reforms when do you think the resul would be out?

In 1985 The result of this came out at 5% and it was the lowest we have ever had since then

Chaircover,

Shey you dey see why I am always against these women. You see that your opinion is in the minority among women on this thread.

On one hand they claim they need a man who loves them on the other hand they say the love is tied to money.

Lemme ask, If the girl leaves the guy and somehow the guy makes it, Would you now blame the guy if he has an impression that ALL girls are gold diggers.

Let the guy go, He would meet someone else who deserves him.

Someone told a story about how a high flying Harvard trained Chicago lady was proposed to by an intern and broke boy. She agreed and they got married Years later the man is the President of the whole Freaking United States and the most Powerful man in the world

Go figure

We are looking at 5 countries first Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya and Zambia

We have significant interest from Google, Xerox and Cisco to become technical partners

We also have an agreement with Rice University to provide access to all their online resources.

We met with some initial resistance from some people regarding locating in Nigeria One of the guys on the team(Who had previously worked in Nigeria) preferred other African countries but we told them they cant do anything meaningful when the biggest African country is out of it.

Further presentation to be done later in the year at MIT if we proceed to the final stages
