I think you should, cos whether you've enough calcium in your system or not, the baby draws same from your body....For me I have been using calcium as far back as 18weeks and still using same @ 38 weeks plus.

according to my own mathematics not having enough calcium might be the cause for most of the body aches, especially joints, ribs etc and also make sure to always take your drugs

What brand of calcium are you using? I thought once you take prenatals and take milk, eggs, and other nutritious food you don't need any other supplement.

Good lovely mamas, pls I need your expert advice MA's. So I complained earlier about body weakness and all.I went for a test and It turns out I have malaria.
I was given parecetamol and Coartem ( the coartem is in capsule form and colour green) to be taken 1 twice daily .
Pls mamas is it safe to take this drug ? Has anyone used it.A doctor not a gynea saw me though my file showed my preggie history .
I'm 15wks gone.

Please experienced and knowledgeable mommas. What's the deal with epidural in Nigerian hospitals? Private and public? I'm a ftm and I want to be prepared. I know I other countries; epidural is no big deal so wanna know if one has to request in naija; is it very commonly administered etc.

Also had a myomectomy two years ago; has anyone else had same and gone ahead to have a vaginal birth?? During the myomectomy; epidural was administered and it went well by God's grace.

I had a myo too a year and a half ago, hoping for a normal delivery. Are you sure it was not spinal anesthesia that was used for your myo.

1. for the thyroid stuff, i know thyroid has a role to play in balancing hormones, n since hers has been reduced..am thinking she should continue with the drugs or get her hormones checked.

2. after getting her hormones ok, next step would be to confirm her tubes are open, so she shud prepare for hsg, or if she isnt ready for that...she can start taking meduim dose serrapeptase for a month or two, its not a drug so no harm if nothing is wrong, cos the tubes may hv gotten blocked... while all this is going on...let her dh go for a sperm count, his having a baby b4 is no gurantee that his swimmers are good, and also how sure is he that the previous baby is his...a simple sfa removes all doubt.

3. surrogacy is only possible with ivf, but since you dont hv money, the next best thing would be iui [the baby will not share any dna with ur sister the hubbys swimmers will be injected into u and ur sisters uterus after prepping it--- this may be unethical, ], doctors in benin - ponders end clinic off lagos road, 1 hospitl along technical college road benin-lagos road, cant remember the name now, will post when i do, then ubth. for abuja there is nisa clinic, heard grabbo clinic gwarimpa is doing discount on ivf 650k or so. also bodycheck abuja clinic have a low cost INVO-IVF procedure

Mamas, please help me decide what cream to use? I am a bit fair in complexion. Prepregnancy I was using the pink fair and white skin perfector 500ml lotion. I have since stopped it, cos I don't know what the active ingredient is and if it has anything harmful to my Lo. I have been using Vaseline blue seal jelly. I noticed I have started getting a little darker, don't know if it's the Vaseline or pregnancy that is causing it. Is there any safe cream I can use that doesn't have hydroquinone and won't darken me.! I am almost 21 weeks gone and have been using Vaseline for three months. Thanks.

Hi Mama August!!! Am sure many of us are enjoying this lovely trimester. Before the end of next month, , many of us would have entered our 3rd trimester so let's enjoy as must as we could now.
Hi Hope we have all registered for our ANC Classes and we have start meeting other pregnant mums. Many of us who registered early must have taken 2 shot of our TT injection and some of us who registered less than a month have taken just one shot. Please, dont let us miss the next appointment for the next shot.
I pray the Almighty God will continue to strengthen us and help us all to carry to term with easy and stress-free delivery.


Now, most of us, if not all must be feeling our baby kicks and their super active jumping upandan inside the little mansion in our belle. Many of us will start finding it difficult to bend down and do our normal chores but lets all try to intensify more effort without over stressing ourselves or our lo's but mustn't be too lazy.

Present My able cappo. I am loving this trimester, I have this sudden burst of energy. I find myself doing a lot of chores. Lo has started kicking, (very exciting) sometimes I purposely find it's trouble by poking my belly just to feel it kick. I am yet to take my second TT. The first one was painful Sha! my arm felt sore for about two days. I wish the rest of the journey remains like this jare.

Today is my EDD according to first scan, God please dash me something more than poo today, even if it's mucus plug

You can kpekus small I heard it helps bring on labor. It's supposedly the most effective.

To the glory of God my prince charming came to this beautiful world yesterday(sunday) weighing 3.8kg to grace us. Hmmm I couldn't stand labour pain ooo opted for cs straight at just 2cm after virginal examination, doctor begged me to wait a little so he can help me do sweep membrane I no hear. Didn't know labour pain is this painful, abeg cs all d way for me( I have very low threshold for pain). I wish all remaining mamas easy and stressfree delivery/according to your heart desires. Still coming with my full birth story. Make I rest small.

So around early march last yr I got married(did my trad) sum few days to d D-day I lost my mum in-law...very sad... We did d trad anyway and was preparing for her funeral in may...den I was just mobilized for nysc which was April/may...I was posted to akwa ibom...but my husband was based in Benin...so I had yo redeploy in June..that was when we started trying for a baby... glory of God I and dh was cured of staph but I also complained to my doc d symptoms I was having...after many questions he asked d lab attendant in d hospital to conduct a test for me..pregnancy test...and I waited for the result.. It came out Negative!!! Geezzz I was surprised... How come...?

So why are you disturbing yourself? Google the symptoms of endometriosis, if you have one of the symptoms doesn't mean you have it. There are other gynecological conditions that will have similar symptoms with endometriosis. Some times sef there's no problem.
Rough sex, and deep penetration can cause pain especially with certain positions, doesn't mean there is a problem, men have different *p*n*s sizes.
