One alarming garri woman did it to me
D first time she asked, i said they are home, another day again i said they are home, d third time i was trekking to service she asked why they didn't go wt me, me now 'explainer' na told her wt tears in my eyes. This societal pressure, na WA. I don't even believe in throwing away one's name or identity once one marries or has a child.
When anyone asks my name I give my first name. And when I do have my baby, I will not give my name as mummy this or that when asked. If they choose to call me by my child's name fine.

Your womb is stretching. I don't think it's any problem as long as you are not spotting. I read about round ligament trying to accommodate your growing uterus hence you may feel pain on either sides of the lower abdomen or both.
If you are still disturbed complain to your doctor.

I was discussing with a mama yesterday and she took her scan to all this alagbo(herbs / tradomedical centers). Only for them to tell her husband to go and bring 5k or so for them to turn the placenta from posterior to anterior. When they came to me, i started laughing and they were disturbed. After the laugh tire me, i now told them that posterior is even better compared to anterior. Na im i con turn medical lecturer to them for like 1 hour.

I dont know why someone will not know something and be scaring people off their illitracy. I had to let them know i even enjoyed my second pregnancy which was with posterior placenta than my first which was anterior.
So today, let us educate our FTM about PLACENTA most especially our second trimester mama.


Your placenta develops wherever the fertilised egg embeds in your uterus, after its journey along the fallopian tube. An anterior placenta means that your placenta is positioned on the front wall of your uterus (womb).

During your anomaly scan (between 18 weeks and 20 weeks plus six days), the person doing the scan (the sonographer) will check to see where the placenta is lying. She'll write down its position in your ultrasound notes. The position will be described as one of the following:

anterior (on the front wall of your uterus)
posterior (on the back wall of your uterus)
fundal (on the top wall of your uterus)
right or left lateral (on the right or left side of your uterus)

These are all completely normal places for the placenta to implant and develop.

The only problem with an anterior placenta is if you are having your baby by caesarean section and the placenta is low. You may have a higher risk of bleeding, for two reasons:

The placenta may be lying just where the obstetrician

Lol, foodie Mama pele. Take it easy. What you are feeling now is what I feel eveytime I eat a small meal, except the food is just a few table spoons. But I can't be eating a few spoons how will Lo grow,. The food I ate since 9am is just going down now. I don't understand.

When I had mine it was painful. I was given pain relief and asked to lie on the bed for about 40 minutes after the procedure before I was allowed to go.
