PoliticsRe: President Tinubu Suspends National Social Investment Programme by Dbestbrest: 7:00pm On Jan 12, 2024
One of the cash crows of Buhari's ministers is this social intervention fund that they used to steal billions. Heartless and Godless leaders hiding under the umbrella of empowering the masses to steal. The leaders are wicked to the people indeed. PBAT should just cancel them as the people never benefited from it. Instead he should invest the money in manufacturing and agriculture
CultureRe: Rams Sacrificed Ahead Of Third Mainland Bridge Repair (Photos) by Dbestbrest: 7:29pm On Jan 11, 2024
Give to Cesear what belongs to him. We were handling a project close to a major river in a south-south state and the villagers advised us that we should sacrifice to the goddess river before we embarked on the project. We ignored the warning and started the project. Less than a week, we lost 3 brand new equipment. Until we performed the sacrifice before the losses stopped. Sacrifice is common in construction if the project is bridge construction or any major project close to river. Do the needful and continue with your work
BusinessRe: CBN Sacks Boards Of Union Bank, Keystone Bank, Polaris, Titan Trust by Dbestbrest: 8:00pm On Jan 10, 2024
This country is gone to the dogs. Buhari really finished this country with the people he surrounded himself with. If the present government can develop the liver to probe all the ministers in Buhari's government, a lot of rots will be discovered and billions of dollars will be recovered
PoliticsRe: Betta Edu: Why I Approved Payment Of ₦‎585 Million Into A Private Account by Dbestbrest: 8:00am On Jan 06, 2024
This country is irredeemable! How can people entrusted with state funds will have such a mind to damn the damnedest to transfer state funds meant for vulnerable people to private account? Well we are watching the way the president will handle this matter. By now, EFCC supposed to have arrested her for questioning. This is frustrating

Error401:
What they couldnt do in 50 years? You people think with your anuusss
People like you don't go far in life. My opinion is my opinion, if you have contrary opinion you state it without insult. I won't blame you because you weren't brought up properly and that's why you will end up a frustrated boy. For your information, this is the first time serious war will break out between Hamas and IDF. The war is going on well and you will sit behind your chinko phone to read the end of your master, hamas being obliterated. Useless idiot
Foreign AffairsRe: There Is No Sign Of The Decline Of Hamas' Military Power - New York Times by Dbestbrest: 12:09pm On Dec 28, 2023
It is absurd to see hamas using children and women as shield and claiming that they can match up with Israel. The earlier they own up the better for them to stop further killings of innocent civilians. You are hiding in tunnels and coming out occasionally to attack and think that's how to with a war? As Israel had divided the strip into 3, it will make the job easier for them to destroy all the tunnels in the north, then relocate central Gazans to north before obliterating Hamas and their tunnels from central Gaza before moving to south. I just pity the dead men still walking and hiding in Turkey, Lebanon and Qatar, as their days on earth are numbered
HealthRe: Please Help I want to gain some weight by Dbestbrest: 12:00pm On Dec 28, 2023
Madam, you should be thankful for having this good shape. Any attempt to use artificial method to increase in size or shape will have adverse effect on you. By the time you have 3 kids you will get the expected weight you want. Women are naturally blessed with added weight as they procreate. Even if you maintain this shape we are all seeing, you are still as take-away as your husband first met you. Don't fret on what is not an issue, maintain your current weight and you will thank us later
PoliticsRe: Local Contractors To Get Priority In Ekiti State Development Projects by Dbestbrest: 7:53pm On Dec 27, 2023
The last time local contractors were recognised and well utilised was when MTN came to Nigeria. I will never forget the way such act revamped the country's economy. They handled most of the friendship centres, switch centres and base stations. The local contractors didn't disappoint. If Ekiti State government can walk the talk, it will be a great service to the local contractors' development

I commented yesterday in a similar thread that the Green line is the next on board. Kudos to Lagos state government, they don't rest on their on their past achievements before embarking on new frontiers. Let the development continue, more grease to Sanwo-Olu's elbow
FamilyRe: My Girlfriend's Mother Just Aborted Our Four Months Old Pregnancy (pictures) by Dbestbrest: 7:36pm On Dec 02, 2023
Guy, in all situations, give thanks to God. You just escaped a heartless mother-in-law. Never nurse the ambition of taking revenge or suing her. That girl's destiny had been altered for life by her mother. The abortion your girlfriend concurred to showed that she doesn't have a mind of her own. Trust me guy, that mother had murdered sleep and she will sleep no more. Pick up the pieces and move on with your life. NEVER CROSS HER PATH AGAIN. You just escaped a miserable marriage where a mother-in-law would have been dictating how you live your life

Speedily extend the route to the island as well. It should run through Lagos to Ajah and then to Epe or Ibjeju-Lekki. Lekki-Ajah Expressway is a no-go area now due to traffic gridlock.
You are on point but that axis falls on green line. Let them take one step at a time. Lagos will surely get there

PoliticsRe: PDP Loses Control Of Plateau Assembly As Appeal Court Sacks 11 Lawmakers by Dbestbrest: 10:19am On Nov 25, 2023
This is what happened when a party decided to force their wish on their people in contravention of their own constitution. PDP brought this upon themselves. APC suffered same fate in Zamfara 4 years ago, hence, PDP, as they refused to learn from history are now reliving history.
The problems of our democracy are the politicians NOT the Judiciary. Judiciary will always interpret the law while politicians will always want to flout the law for their own selfish ambition. Until our politicians begin to respect their party's constitution, the court will continue to determine which party rule in Nigeria. We should not be sentimental but look at the root cause of the happenings in our political terrain

PoliticsRe: Fct Minister Meets With Estate Developers, Residents’ Associations by Dbestbrest: 8:04am On Nov 22, 2023
Flat rate of NGN 5 million for C of O? That's too much. This will increase the cost of rent as well as the cost of owing a property in Abuja. Must government officials be so myopic that they can't think outside the box? Must they rob the poor always before they can carry out any meaningful project? As long as we have people of low IQ in handling the affairs of the state, progress will remain static

AutosRe: List Of Indigenous Automobile Manufacturers In Nigeria by Dbestbrest: 8:54am On Nov 18, 2023
Thank you for this detailed write-up. I think all tiers of government must make it a duty bound to patronize our made-in-Nigeria cars. They must do away with the mentality of spending our scarce resources on imported vehicles. The legislators (though, not encouraging the promotion of made-in-Nigeria cars) must come up with a policy or law that will ban importation of new cars into the country, except when the local manufacturers will not be able to meet up with demands. Under Jawalhra Nehru in 1945 in India, He banned importation of textiles, one journalists then asked what will Indians be wearing if he bans importation of textiles, and Nehru answered, let all Indians go naked until they can produce their own textiles. Indians never went naked, and today, they have identity. Wherever you see Indians, you will see them in their own unique styles. Nigeria can do the same. This is the only way to promote and encourage local production. Rome was never built in one day.
PoliticsRe: Bayelsa Poll: I Would Have Relocated My Mother To Abuja If Diri Had Lost – GEJ by Dbestbrest: 7:54am On Nov 18, 2023
But PDP had been ruling the state from 1999 till date. So why crying over what your party created? Don't detract people's attention from the failure of development recorded to date in the state. Yenagoa is a glorified local government headquarter not a state capital. No good roads and the water ways are not developed. You can't get clean water to drink in any part of the state and the electricity supply is nothing to write home about. Many streets in the small state capital does not have transformer to link them to national grid. Your party created the insecurity in the 1st place, and you must find solution to stop it

Music/RadioRe: Court Awards N50million In Favour Of Orits Wiliki by Dbestbrest: 9:25am On Nov 14, 2023
Orits Wiliki was one of the best reggae musicians that came out of Nigeria. We enjoyed the vibes in late 80s spanning through 90s. Their songs really gave the military regime goose pimples. I saw them as the unsung heroes that fought the jackboots of military oppression through songs that paved way for the civilian rule in Nigeria
