JackBizzle:Wickedness?? People are living on that hope alone. To take away that hope from them is like taking away their life. After reading a fantasy book to someone, how many will come back to listen to it a second time when you're not demonstrating how those events occurred? That's it bro, you have to demonstrate to gather your audience..that's how it works. |
JackBizzle:Yeah something like that. And also won't like you to think on your own. Only theirs matters. |
Jamean:Hahahaha Màrý ámákà--Sister Mary |
JackBizzle:I would love to, but It's a long story that happened gradually. One thing led to another..the conversion trial and the rest. I can't elaborate over here by just texting cause am not that good at writing long texts. I pointed it out to show that I was able to reach some neutrality in the r/ship. The thing is, she knows my view pertaining God and she likened it to why there're numerous churches with different doctrines. But someone who is too religious and feels unsafe in the world will always put God in the picture. She told me sincerely to open a church and teach people the right way to God--that's my calling ![]() |
JackBizzle:LMAO ![]() At red: Sadly that's the truth, they're many. Girls like that always lead to an untimely grave. |
JackBizzle:100k Okay you said decent..I still have hope. For me, na to start micro small. Go to someone's abandoned land. Clear land. Turn to Jesus the carpenter and erect a strong batcher..cover am with waterproof.. Construct some long wooden bench for a start. Invite people to the miracle center and instruct one brother to buy a microphone and speaker according to the Lord's directive and we'll rise from there ![]() If the small capital is there men then everything is set. |
JackBizzle:I get you bro..nothing is ever easy I concur with Nihilist, that's the best way to work out a relationship that can work anyway and not one that is obvious from the initial to plummet in an early grave.Even if you go for a white girl, there will always be some contradictions in one thing or another. I doubt you can meet a girl that will share every of your dammn perspective. So I believe the keyword is to adapt, adjust and then reshape the relationship to a neutral level where every opinion count. It's hard but once again, nothing is ever easy. I will just end by telling you that while most people around me sees me as an atheist, my too religious girlfriend (love her for numerous reasons), thinks that I have a calling from God ![]() |
JackBizzle:Hehehe..Like seriously It's not even a joke. I've contemplated on that idea for sometime now. Church na where it happens..even if it's botch-constructed with some wood and covered with some waterproof material like tarpaulin, trust me money will be moving. The pastorpreneur will be like..Always pay your tithe and give your offerings because they are for God who gave them to you. You will pray and fast for days and at last cheerfully give a sizeable amount from your sufferings--sorry God's blessings. The pastor will cheerfully accept of course for is it not written: A labourer deserves his wages . Problem now is capital to start..I pass my neighbour generator alone is around N18,000, not to talk of other essentials like white hankie etc. Everything don cost Bro, if you can afford the necessary materials for the ministry to start---wood, nylon and co., please call upon me to be the senior pastor, I can preach welu well ... [Have my C.V]Like Johnny pointed out miracle na mustooo, except if you want to be riding bicycle throughout your life in the ministry while others are busy thinking about purchasing a rocket. You have to be talented in both preaching and performing/staging good tricks (miracles) for the church business to sell. If you're lacking in both or either one, then you have to hire someone who does. Just because of that, folks are running away from my mother church (catholic) to where e dey happen. Once you can stage and perform good convincing miracles, you don't need to worry about members. Money will start flowing. Reyginus himself will sow a good seed for you to heal his friend's long lost joystick. |
johnydon22:Yay keep it coming bro As for musKeeto /sonoflucifer, am still preparing for your special deliverance. Those white demons can't succeed..You must finish your stories |
Reyginus: JackBizzle: Una no go kee me here! |
analice107: ![]() |
BreezyCB:This got me laughing Na for dead person head you dey pour those wishes so ![]() |
UyiIredia:Correct!!! Like the cow given birth to many offsprings of which some will give rise to goats, sheep, rabbits, mice ![]() |
Seriously I've watched this movie.. please can you remind me the name, I wanna re-download it. Will Smith is in the movie right? |
JackBizzle:Lol. Thought I gonna see some new and healthy line of thought. When I logged in, scanning through some comments/attacks and saw Sirwere's comment.. 5 clear proof that God exists which even trended on the fp.. I said eeehen! at last, someone has done his homework... I joyfully requested for the link, only to...chaiii the disappointment knew no bounds. He just regurgitated the same old lines without good logical facts to back it up ![]() Since the disappointment had already set in, I just relaxed to see whether some comments will make me happy (cause that's my main purpose with the religious section), some actually did The most daft comment, that's apart from some uncouth ones anyway, was that of the first commenter, who kind of added the sixth proof: "My life is a proof that God exists" I wonder whether the life of a virus is equally a proof that God exists..If you ask him this question following his line of reasoning, what you will hear is.." errrm no. God doesn't create diseases, only the evil one, Lucifer and his agents, sons of lucifer does that" ![]() |
ruphytelecom:Do you have a hp 650 core i3 motherboard? If yes what's your price? |
SirWere:Oh I thought there's something new. I wonder the clarity in the post that proves the existence of a god. Same old surmise rounded off with a fallacious ad verecundiam (the bible) |
SirWere:Please can you point me to that thread? I've been in the dark for some time now. |
Sister ogechieku , take solace. Everything will be alright. |
johnydon22:Nice. I like your opinion. As for me, until SETI is able to give us satisfactorily concluding facts that we're alone or not, I won't hold to a particular view. Why?? These are some of the solutions I found to the paradox.. N.B These are just answers to the paradox..they are by no means concluding facts as to why we're alone. 1. The Zoo Hypothesis ETI’s may have stumbled upon our tiny blue marble a long time ago, but, for whatever reason, they’re observing us from afar. It might be that we’re entertainment for them (like watching monkeys in the zoo), or that they’re studying us for scientific purposes. Regardless they (super-intelligent alien life) may answer to a Prime Directive: don’t interfere.. just like the Prime Directive in Star Trek part 2 Into the Darkness in which civilizations are left alone until they attain a certain technology capacity. 2. Radio Silence That aliens are broadcasting, but we don’t know how to listen. This is one of the things SETI is counting on for success. Aliens might not be broadcasting with radio waves, or they might be broadcasting on different frequencies than the ones SETI is currently monitoring. Or they may be using technologies way beyond what we have in their broadcast. 3. The Simulation Hypothesis That we haven’t been visited by anyone because we’re living inside a computer simulation (Just like in the movie Matrix) — and the simulation isn’t generating any extraterrestrial companions for us. There's no shortage of solutions to the Fermi Paradox. Some too plausible and some too weird. Others: Rare Earth Hypothesis -- the suggestion that life is exceptionally rare. Is earth really special? Meanwhile, there're other exoplanets like our earth. The notion that space travel is too difficult or the distance too vast The Great Filter Hypothesis --the idea that all sufficiently advanced civilizations destroy themselves before going intergalactic, or that we’re simply not interesting enough. Aliens Haven't Had Enough Time to Reach Earth -- This one is too weak because actually they have. Fermi's paradox is driven by three rather powerful premises: 1) our galaxy has been around for a very, very long time — about 13.2 billion years (or 13,200 million years), 2) intelligent life was capable of emerging when the galaxy was still very young, and thus, 3) aliens have had plenty of time to visit, colonize, and reshape every portion of the Milky Way. Yet it doesn't appear that any civilization has done so. The list goes on..and of course.. God Created the Universe Just For Us --This is the one Kingebukasblog will accept, just like Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas, who both argued that humans are unique to God's plan. Erm but "the universe is a pretty big place. If it's just us, seems like an awful waste of space ." Indeed, if God created the Universe just for us, why such elaborate digs? Why would there be trillions upon trillions of stars in the cosmos and not just one? What's more, why create such a seemingly biophilic Universe, one that appears to be cosmologically consistent throughout? Now since there's no satisfactory theory about the "Great Silence", if I hold to any of the opinions alone, it means that I've accepted that we're truly alone and will remain alone because of those reasons. |
seeker4life:You created an account to comment...nice. But do you wanna yoke with the unbeliever? ![]() |
Lol some don't wanna die and Logicbwoy is very very afraid of death..Why da fvuck do we die ![]() Besides JackBizzle , are you still in spam cell If yes, then what you did is way beyond naughty But there's hope..! |
*Looks everywhere nobody* bingbagbo why the repetition? Runs outta thread before am converted... |
Meeen this is turning to something else. Rey and LB I think it's time to end this chapter. Like I said yesterday it requires a great deal of reasoning to get this. I remembered that I always find fault in those words whenever it's mentioned right from my early university days without actually knowing why until later. Please both of you should agree to disagree ![]() |
JackBizzle:Really...My brain was so saturated yesterday. I believe that's where you're going with the points you made last night |
hahn: I've been waiting to hear something like this. This requires a great deal of critical thinking to understand not our primary school definition of perfection. That's my problem with the 4 words I mentioned above. |
KingEbukasBlog:Nah that's okay. I like those words but unfortunately they are not words ![]() |
KingEbukasBlog:Well what you have to know is that a truly perfect thing can't change, erm, but it also have to change to always maintain it's perfection at any particular point--showing imperfection. (I don't even know whether am still making sense cause my brain is already saturated )Your 5.0 cgp have to always remain 5.0 to be perfect..if the curriculum changes it to 10.0 cgp tomorrow and someone scores 5.0 hmm I wonder what happens. |
Make una continue shaa. You see these words: -Omnipresent -Omniscient -Omnipotent -Perfection, I don't technically consider them as actual words much less a paradox ![]() |
KingEbukasBlog:Seriously speaking I don't know how to explain this paradox because it requires deep thinking. We need to zoom out of the box to get this. I want you to think deep on these.. If our bodies don’t self-heal and our cells don’t self-improve, we die. But if our minds constantly strive to improve, we are never satisfied, and we are always struggling to be good enough… then we suffer. If I am in perfect health, then why will I die? If my mood is often less-than-perfect, why does my wife still love me? |
JackBizzle:Exactly, and that's the paradox. The Greek philosopher Empedocles pointed out that if the world were perfect, it could not improve and so would lack "true perfection," |
@ johnydon22 Finished reading about the Fermi's paradox. In a summary what's your take on the paradox. Do you accept Enrico Fermi's view? Meanwhile I saw an article somewhere about the solutions to the paradox. |
