vonlogon:
Hope you have evidence to back your claims, purchase evidence written in your dad's name and or your mum's, that letter they showed you, if it's not a legal agreement, you are not bound to it, anyone could forge that. Most importantly, get your documentation right and organized and prepare to leave CAC.

All the best

It is not a legal agreement. and how can i purchase an evidence in their names sir

Religion / How CAC Wants To Claim Our Property!! by dboY1123(m): 9:21pm On Jun 18
I will be brief and precise here.
My Dad is a cac pastor, he was moved about from one cac church to the other and later he was ordered to head a cac church in one very local underdeveloped area 20+years ago, without catering for his needs and that of his family.

Few years later, in Ayetoro side lagos..there was a conflict amongst the omo onile that time, and he had to fled to his own site where he had a church and someone working there.

Straight to the issue, i lost my mum 2years ago but she used to tell us how cac will come and claim this particular church building and the house (mission) and that is exactly what's about to happen.

We have junior pastor to my dad who had been a church member before in one of the places he worked.. The man came to us that my dad is due for retirement gratuity and he wants to help him get it because my dad has been a good person and role model to him..

Last year, he came with some letters that we should fill, but the letter stated that we should attach land documents of the church but we refused to drop it and that was it. 3months ago, the man came again with a letter of which my dad signed (the letter head was his church zonal district not directly from cac secretariat), i was not aware, he sent the same letter to my sister on whatsapp before he proceeded to Ibadan cac secretariat with my sister to claim the retirement gratuity.

After one month, they were finally able to process it and grant it. Last week, the pastor came to our house that CAC has decided to bring in a pastor from ogbomosho to head my dad's church and that we will not have access to the church but only the mission built beside the church a very small one.

That is where I flared up, I asked him, is cac paying my dad's retirement gratuity to grab or own the church which my dad built? he asked my to check the letter he sent to my sister on his phone, that it was stated that we give the possession of the church to cac..

Till now, we haven't settled the case because all of us (the children) have refuted that claim and disagreed strongly on that.

what do you think? are we fighting an unjust case and what can we do to fight this and reclaim it because there is not land or building document attached to the letter if at all any letter was taken to ibadan.

What type of writings do you do then....

Creative writing, essays and articles, I used to be very good in stories, autobiography books etc.. I love writing generally.
I love writing essays mostly, when I was in secondary school I won the essay competition in secondary School level in Lagos State..
NCC broadband essay competition in 2014/15. I was a participant.
The only mistake I made was going for sciences.

If I could see a sample of your CV and cover letter I might be able to tell you what the problem is. I suspect that you simply aren't the best fit for most of these jobs. The market is quite competitive and if you look well you'll see that even the "smallest" of obs advertised on Linkedin has hundreds of applicants.

No problem how can I send it sir/ma

I haven't gotten a single job interview on LinkedIn and indeed, the few ones are got are from LinkedIn and a teaching job.
The teaching job is either very far from my place or a very poor salary! Already, I lost interest in teaching even before this time.

I went for an interview in ifo Ogun state, a government approved private secondary school, and the principal proudly informed me that they pay graduates 30K.. This school celebrated her 23rd year anniversary recently and you're paying graduates 30k?? And you expect me to leave SANGO to Ifo, just to take 30k he was even requesting for my original result and referees!

I took my loses and left, after I assured them that I will resume on Monday (yesterday), right now I'm still job hunting but I'm actually not interested in teaching anymore, maybe in Lagos they pay well, definitely not here.

The other jobs I applied for like, sales marketing, receptionist, virtual receptionist and so on, none ever replied me.

Am I doing something different? I am new to job hunting so how do y'all find and locate jobs?

Thanks for your replies

I met a lady few months ago, we started chatting after everything were smooth, we started dating but 2months after we broke up. Her reason was because she wasn't feeling it deep or very convinced yet to be in a relationship with me, but right now we are still together(communication).

Well, The reason I'm convinced she could be my Soul mate πŸ˜‚ is because
1. We are both from Osun state
2. We are both last-born
3. We both studied Chemistry (different school)
4. When she wanted to serve(NYSC) they posted her to Benue, same place I camped.
5. We are both Christians.
Could this be just mere coincidence?

Good morning nairalanders
I think this world is turning to something else

I work with a private organisation where I earn 20k as my monthly stipend
For the past one four month now we have not been paid salary and we dare not ask my boss because she is a disciplined woman who doesn't tolerate nonsense..

Things are really getting hard and I couldn't even afford transport fee to work this morning as I have to trek down to work this morning, and on getting to work I decided to summon courage to ask this woman about my salary, She told me to go back to my duty .
but to my greatest surprise it was sack letter that follows.
I tried talking to her and telling her the situation of things but she wouldn't listen and all what she said is that I have been fired.

I was told to come back ending of November to get my salary..

I don't really know what to do right now, it looks like cheating to me .
This is my sweat, something I have work for ...

How can I contact u?

"I am a Nigerian student living in Scotland, A Nigerian Christian guy got in touch with me via WhatsApp and asked for a relationship, saying he got my number off a church whatsapp group that I haven't been to for almost a year now. He said he's prayed about me and God has told him we are good to go. He is a student too.
I was single at the time and haven't been with a Christian brother before, so I decided to give it a chance. It's roughly 2 months and I am at the point where I want to quit.

We got talking on the platform and also through calls, about a week into our relationship/talking stage he asked me to come to his place and cook for him so he can have enough food for the coming week. I was surprised because we hadn't even seen each other at that at time. I told him I cannot, he made a big deal out of it and said stuff like it's not a big deal for me to do that as his wife to be. We got over that and arranged to see for the first time, he suggested my house and I said I don't feel comfortable with either of us seeing for the first time in our houses and we finally concluded on a Bugger King outlet which isn't far from my house. This didn't go well with him tho.

We met for the first time and talked, after that he said he wanted to know my place as it isn't far from Burger King. He came to my place and stayed in my bed till around past 10pm, he tried touching and kissing, I told him I wasn't comfortable and he needed to leave because of time. He got annoyed said his intentions was to stay over at my place, he already told his housemate he isn't coming back home and it's so late now to go back. I told him I cannot allow him sleep at my house for the first time we're meeting, I have a small single bed and you intentionally didn't even say you'd sleep over before. He grudgingly left and dropped 3 packs of youghurt and a bag of unfried chips which I later discovered where all expired at the time he dropped them.

I told him about it and he made a mess out of the situation. He attends a pentecostal church and critisizes other churches, he doesn't really believe in adult taking responsibility for their actions as the devil is most likely responsible for everything, we simply have to pray against the devil.
He's asked for sex multiple times in less than 1 month, I stopped talking to him one time for about 2 weeks and we picked up again. He said he doesn't have to penetrate, we can do every other things to satisfy our flesh. He said doing all that with him is the proof of my love for him which I have strongly disagreed. Sex isn't a prove of love, we are adults and can have protected sex with anyone without loving them.
The only single thing I enjoy about him is that we communicate well, he talks a lot too and that makes our communication half argument, he finds fault in any little thing and blows it out of proportion. I have told him I don't have strength for argument in marriage since we won't be arguing over minute things that get him pissed off now.

Both of us have been getting multiple 12 hours night shifts from work and two nights ago, he asked me what he was going to eat when he gets home the following morning, I knew he was up to something. I told him I can't say, we don't live together and I don't know what you currently have at home. I suggested he buys bread on his way back home. He then asked me to cook for him to eat the following morning, I sincerely let him know I have no soup or stew myself. His response changed and he later called me on same subject, citing how I don't care enough about him to be concerned about how he is gonna eat since he's been working few nights now, he compared himself to a married man that always brings food to work at his workplace. Even gave the guy his phone to talk to me, that one too said I should do things in my power to make my man happy.

I tried to make him understand he isn't married and it might be difficult to enjoy what his married frnd is enjoying. Youve never bought me foodstuff, you haven't worked before and sent me 50 pounds or less for groceries, we are both working night shifts and I sort my own food, why are you angry I can't make out time out of my rest period to come cook at your house to stuck your fridge?

I have been in relationship where I cooked, I personally enjoy cooking, but I have never been with a man that feels to entitled to me doing that for him. He says I'm supposed to be the one cooking for him. He also believes in women abroad sharing bills, but he is too traditional to share house chores"

Can you link me up with the beautiful lady? My relationship no get stress at all.
Sports / Re: Van Dijk About Van Gaal's Statements On Messi: 'don't Agree With His Opinion’! by dboY1123(m): 3:39pm On Sep 05, 2023
ojehmario1969:
Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has reacted strongly against former Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal after the latter claimed that the 2022 FIFA World Cup was rigged in favor of Lionel Messi and Argentina.
Lionel Messi led Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar back in December 2022. The seven-time Ballon d'Or led from the front, netting seven goals to win the Golden Ball in the process.

"I heard it this morning, indeed," says Van Dijk. "And that's actually it. It is of course his opinion. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion. I do not share the same opinion."

The Dutch team is currently preparing for the Euro 2024 qualifiers with Greece (Thursday) and Ireland (Sunday). Goalkeeper Mark Fleken, who was not selected for the World Cup in Qatar, said that the players had discussed Van Gaal's statements "a little bit" this morning.

"If it is the opinion of the ex-national coach, then he can express that opinion. I personally did not have that opinion," said Fleken, who did not want to delve deeper into the theme because he was not present in Qatar.

https://www.sportskeeda.com/amp/football/news-he-can-say-whatever-wants-virgil-van-dijk-reacts-strong-message-louis-van-gaal-claims-world-cup-rigged-lionel-messi

If there was rigging in favor or Messi, the why did France responded with 2 goals rather than allowing Argentina win without having to head into extras?

LVG is just so dull to be a coach.
