@bolded was it your brother's wife that prevented your other siblings from being there for your mother? That's the thing with siblings of married men, they find it very convenient to blame the wife as if their brother is some kind of puppet. Only God knows the kind of resentment you and the other members of your family showed her. Possibly the reason she didn't come to visit your mum or why your brother unconsciously distanced himself from the rest of your family. Imagine threatening to arrest a grieving widow because she didn't tell you her husband was sick, i wish the woman can come here to recount what she passed through in the hands of these in-laws from hell.

This my brother was the second born of the family, he is compassionate, nice and he loved his family not until this lady came in..
The point is, Since my mum warned my brother against this lady, my brother took a step backward from us all, and since then more than 4/5 years, I knew things weren't right. There's no mutualisms, true love between his and our family.

That was part of d reason my brother didn't stand up for his mum. Things already started heating up. My other elder ones don't stay as close to my mum. My and my brother are the closest, and moreover he didn't spend a dime in hospital bills of my mum and imagine that. More like it was intentional.. Not even 5k.

From what my brother did during those times my mum was sick, I detest him..and he knew it. Has the Second born and a man, he should be the front-runner..
Infact, my brother stopped coming to my dad's church completely, and he was d choirmaster. Everything was strange like something came upon him.

When reading always put intuition into it (no vex boss). if both of us used to be a very good friend or Gee and a guy from no where snatch me from you that I begin to avoid or limit the way I relate with you. if one day, that from no where guy one day steal my things or fraud me, You think I'll be confident enough to tell you so you can mock me?? That's the case of what happened to OP's brother. The wife detached him from the family and telling them what he's going through in the hands of the wife will only bring mock and the blame "Didn't we warn you?" thereby escalating his regrets

Before you start ranting and blaming a woman you have no idea what role she's played in what you read, have you asked yourself why the brother is not even telling his brother things? Is his wife with him 24/7? There's more to issues like this than you can tell.

My brother was deaf! Deaf!! My mum warned him sternly against this evil woman.
First, he had a wife who gave him a boy already, but the mother of that girl didn't let her stay with my brother so he has to marry this particular one.
But before my mum passed on last year, this wife didn't like my mum at all, infact they stopped my mum from visiting them, and my brother took sides with his wife, thinking to be a strong man to his own family by distancing himself from his mother and family..
But things got worse for him, parked from a flat to a room, his school(he's a proprietor) value and numbers dropped heavily and he sold his car.. All these, he still wouldn't speak with any of his siblings, even when we called him on phone to check on him as a brother ,his wife would be the one to pick our calls or tell us he's not around..

Clearly, the wife didn't like my mum at all.. and I know my mum, she wanted the best for her son that's all and she made findings about the lady before she moved in with him., So my mum had her reasons to reject her.

We all don't like the wife, infact my dad who's a pastor (aged) doesn't like her, she couldn't even visit my Dad since the passing away of my mum since last year April.

So, If not that the wife was a bad woman.. Even if your husband is going through shits, you're the closest to him and you would have called on his family, when they took him to hospital for the blood stuff, we paid the money as siblings that was when she called.

I lost my brother early last month and I have been unsettled and paranoid. He visited us a day before and he was healthy and hearty only for us to hear of his death the next day which was on Sunday.

He was admitted in the Hospital, on the bases that he was short of blood. He took 4/5 pants of blood and stayed 1/2 weeks before he was discharged and that only made him live for a month or so.

I want to know more about his death, exactly what happened. His wife is someone who didn't relate well with us (in laws) and she distanced my brother from us, while he objectively did as well.

This wife didn't visit my mum throughout her stay in the hospital for more than 3 months before my mum passed on a year ago. When I visited the hospital where my brother was rushed to being the same place he was admitted, they told me that he must have been bothered about somethings, and that the drugs he was given parts were hypertensive, that he stopped taking the drugs and all those excuses.

I was informed by the nurses that my brother has been suffering from insomnia, he hardly sleeps in nights and if he does, it's just few hours. All these things, the wife didn't tell us anything.

Now, I want to take the fight to her. I need her to tell me exactly what transpired, how did it happen! She's been in 40 days mandatory sit-at-home stuff and I can't wait to sit her ass down and interrogate her.

Should I get her arrested for questioning by the police?

After a long-job-search, August last year I got a job in a farm as a manager through an agency and the salary is 50k, meanwhile, before that, I'd registered with some couple of agencies, also, personally, I'd submitted my CV in some organisations

To be brief! When I'd already started working, a hotel that offered me an employment as a general supervisor/assistant manager before they asked me to stop after working for two days recontacted me, I snubbed them and the salary was 60,000

Precisely, in December last year, another agency reached out to me for an interview but, I told them that I was not in town and they told me to let them know whenever I'm in town. Yesterday, another agency too invited me for an interview I replied them that I haven't returned from Christmas break

Why I glued to my current job is that, though, my 'meagre' salary is 50,000 Naira but, there are other side businesses I do that I make extra money because, within the first three months of my employment, I was able to rent my apartment, a self-contain, furnished it, I'm looking up to a bedroom flat before the expiration of my rent. I was owing my Alma Mater 100,000, for clearance, as I'm posting this thread the money is in my account, I'm just waiting for school to resume so I can go and pay the money. Also, I'm budgeting between 80-100k, for a phone by the end of this month

I have a good CV, I'm a hard worker, a good administrator, also, I'm multi-tasking. In these five months that I have been with this organisation, because of my performance, my boss made huge profit beyond his projection to the extent that he added a bus to the fleet of buses we have, he testified that, ever since he opened this business he has never seen a good manager like me and he's ready to do anything to keep in the company

Please, if I'm called for an interview again, should I honour the invitation or I should continue here? Honestly, I'm confused!

Safe to tell u that I haven't added a single thing since when I parked in. And at least like 3 people parked out and a pastor is one of them.. I have someone who is also running helter skelter to pay his rent and d landlord told me he's looking for him.
Some house will bring luck and not making things difficult, I didn't pray very well before going ahead cz I had little money and was desperate to pack out of my dad's house since I was already serving..

Hello brother, this is a sensitive matter and I feel your pains why I am empathising with you. I seldom discuss things like this here. My advice:

1. Be prayerful, gather lots of info about your current house and take your leave as soon as possible if it's not palatable whether you have the money to rent another apartment or not plz borrow even if other tenants are willing to be there until they get money to leave (talking from my urgly experience). You need lots of prayer and courage to leave if ...
2. Be prayerful and open your eyes when next you are renting an apartment.
3. Stop gambling at all cost.

If I have 100k today, on Friday it could remain 40k without spending o.. But I was gambling before, even then I was doing very fine, I think it's more than that.
It is more than the gambling part, gambling didn't give me the money I used to start business, rent my house and so on, but neither did it affect me after that.

I don't think I spend more than I earn, fine I no trust my brother wey I put for shop.. But for more than a year, I spent and saved and I'm not this bad.

I'll be brief and precise, I finished my nysc this year but before I began my nysc programme I have started a small business, and I was serious with it, dedicated and trustworthy.. I gained customers in no time and things started moving the right way.. This year, February my mum started this illness, though she's been experiencing it for a while(we didn't know it's heart failure related), later in April she passed on, I'm the last born but my elder siblings didn't show much care towards her so I had to spend my money, part of my allowance to take care of her little.
But this changed recently like 6months now, I can barely buy anything, before I went to service I've saved enough, got an apartment, bed,fan, other basic things to start life after service, but now things became worse, my shop is closed, I'm into debt, I can't pay house rent, no food at home.. I started to think it could be the house I rented cz people parked out of there, maybe my gf I left her, maybe someone gave me bad money.
Many thoughts, I'm looking for job now, I need to do something and I have been strong enough! I know the challenges I faced in school now this!
I'm depressed that's just it, things changed totally.. Things got worse!!
Please help with your advice!
Note: I play bet, but I am conscious of how I spend money on that, and I have been doing that before now. I don't carry olosho or girls, I don't drink nor spend lavishly on irrelevant things.

Well, despite using mt details and also putting my money for her to get the phone(via EasyBuy), she went back to her Ex, I saw their chats on whatsapp, where the guy asked her to visit him and all that, I traced the date and that same time she didn't go but came to my house instead. After that scene, she password her whatsapp, and always keep her phone from me anytime she's with me.
MY girlfriend doesn't contribute in the relationship, not attention or even money, even though u send her money anytime she asks, we started having issue when she saved her money up, so she can use it to pay for her Direct Entry and school stuff, but she claimed she gave her mum all the money then came back to ask me for money to support her.. I asked her to get the money from her mum whom she kept it with, but her mum won't release the money. Am I supposed to be responsible for that? This girl couldn't even give me money when I was broke, but always asks!! I explained to her that I wanted to pay my house rent, but she still kept asking for money for hair and stuffs!
